How to Build a Cheap Four Stroke Motorized Bike with Upgraded Parts

- In this video, I will be demonstrating the whole process of building a motorized bike kit. I bought the cheapest one for just $160 total on eBay. The bike I got for $60 on Facebook Marketplace. The entire build came in at $280. I added a CNC adapter and an arch chain tensioner for performance and safety.

Great video! But you gotta do away with the Sissy-Mary gloves!
Once you break the suction on the grip they come right off. Use a little spray lube they will come right off as well.
Use a little simple green to get rid of the rust. Keep up the good work!
I agree great tip brother
Thanks for the video 👍
I look forward to seeing your motorized bicycle adventures😊 subbed
I know your on the right path! You should look into sikk peds motorized bike. I did and Im working on a 140 cc sikk ped bike!
You should use a skateboard wheel as a tensioner wheel. Itll smooth out your ride, trust me! 🤘😁
To correctly measure your hub, put tape around the hub. Then cut the tape and measure the length from the ends of the cut. Thatll give you your hub diameter.
Thanks for the tips. I have heard of using a skateboard wheel for reliability, but I’ll have to try it out and see if it makes it run any better. Those sikk peds bikes do look quite nice. Good luck with your build. What kind of top speed do you think you can get out of that?
I've never tried it four-stroke I'm going to try one as soon as I get done modifying my two stroke
I ended up selling the 4 stroke. It’s not bad on flat ground or small hills but where I live it kept burning clutches due to the steepness and length of the hills. I never had that issue with my 2 stroke. I also found that on my bike you couldn’t pedal in the lowest gear without the chain popping off after swapping the cranks out.
Some other commentators were saying that the belt transmission is a lot better. I imagine it probably is but I personally prefer the two strokes so I didn’t want to dump the money into it.
That is the type of tensioner I use a double tensioner
The hub adapter needs a pin to work I believe it's call a shim key don't quote me on that but I think that's what it's called.
🔥🔥
Mate why don't you put a chainsaw motor on your bike you will get more power and you don't have to do any mods at all but just buy a 2 stroke exhaust pipe for a power ban , but you are doing well
It'd be helpful to see the parts in the beginning and not just the bags
How far can these go
This particular tank size is about half a gallon. These 4 strokes are pretty efficient. I have yet to test my mpg as I am still breaking it in, but I saw another guy with a similar build getting roughly 120 mpg. That means you could go about 60 miles before refilling. I think if you have these tuned up well you could actually do that too but not rely on it every day.
In my experience the two strokes are somewhat high maintenance, but it’s very easy to do. The four stroke is new to me, but so far the cheap factory clutch got smoked. That being said the engine runs very well for 30 minutes. That’s all I’ll run it for until I go through my second tank of fuel.
I've work oñ car since iwas16 year old over 40 years ago I also at 13 made 20 inch motorbike with a 5 horsepower Briggs & Stratton lawn mower motor no fancy attachments then but now what 24 in bike & motor do I order to put a bike together your video inspired me again
@@davidl.berrios8606sounds like fun. You can shop around on sites like Amazon or eBay for motorized bike kits. I got my 49cc 4 stroke on eBay for $160, but that was on sale. The kits include everything that you need to build one and then in the description I attached some Amazon affiliate links to the chain tensioner I used and most importantly the cnc sprocket adapter. Those make the bike safer and perform better. Good luck
I don't like to be the bear of bad news but that hub adapter is gonna mess up your spokes it's gonna slip around the hub there's nothing holding it believe me Bud.
Nope not that 4 stroke it's to slow and the clutch will burn out..
