Hey y’all! On my casual channel you will find videos mainly about fishing and truck camping. There will also be some motorized bicycle content and diy projects. I am currently working on an overlanding setup for my truck. Videos will be coming soon. I hope to create videos of me camping in awesome places while making delicious food and doing some different fish catch and cooks. If any of these topics interest you then consider sticking around for the journey.

In this video, I will be showing you how I built a budget friendly truck bed drawer system. The build had to be easy to remove and store while also being very secure. This is the beginning of me converting my truck into a stealth camper. I plan to use the drawers to better organize my gear. One side will contain all of my cooking stuff making it easy and convenient while boondocking. Chapters: ...

How to Build a Cheap Four Stroke Motorized Bike with Upgraded Parts
Просмотров 12 тыс.6 месяцев назад
In this video, I will be demonstrating the whole process of building a motorized bike kit. I bought the cheapest one for just $160 total on eBay. The bike I got for $60 on Facebook Marketplace. The entire build came in at $280. I added a CNC adapter and an arch chain tensioner for performance and safety. a higher cc engine would do some good
i fish this creek all the time you literally drove right near my house 😭
It’s a cool little spot. Especially the swimming holes upstream.
@@CR03_Outdoor_Adventureshey bro can’t expose my secret spot 🤫
You're sprocket is backwards the lip is supposed to go outward
Adjust idle !
I would have checked the wheel hubs to make sure they were greased and the axle wasn’t too tight or too loose. Often times that’s the case with box store bikes.
The 4G belt drive puts those transmissions to shame, far superior and there is none of that messing, it just keeps going and going.
How fast are you going
That engine is Rev limited also mine is a lot faster
The problem is Bud there's a little like bushing that is behind your transmission and that thing needs to be greased up because it's not letting the clutch engage fully
Use a KTM50 clutch or buy a 53cc 4 stroke engine kit with belt drive (they come with that clutch). I ride about 10 miles (each way) to work with no chain on the pedals and I climb large hills with no problem (other than going no more than 15 to 18 mph up them; otherwise does 25 to 28mph steady). Use high octane fuel and full synthetic motor oil, And try to delete the chain tensioner (they always give problems eventually). Oh, and I run it on a single speed road bike with 26"x2" tires and mags with a 44 tooth CDH sprocket that screw directly into the CDH mags (world of a difference).
Great video! But you gotta do away with the Sissy-Mary gloves!
Did you have to have any extra license to fish there or just a general fishing and trout?
I just had the general one. At bass pro they said if you’re in downtown Gatlinburg you need that added to your license.
Looked like a fun day on the creek. I know a lot of people from around me head down there on vacation. Might have to check it out sometime. Thanks for sharing
That is the type of tensioner I use a double tensioner
I've never tried it four-stroke I'm going to try one as soon as I get done modifying my two stroke
I ended up selling the 4 stroke. It’s not bad on flat ground or small hills but where I live it kept burning clutches due to the steepness and length of the hills. I never had that issue with my 2 stroke. I also found that on my bike you couldn’t pedal in the lowest gear without the chain popping off after swapping the cranks out.
Some other commentators were saying that the belt transmission is a lot better. I imagine it probably is but I personally prefer the two strokes so I didn’t want to dump the money into it.
Weak hands
Stretch the crap out of those clutch springs or get some much lighter ones, definitely lower the idol, and maybe a 50 or more tooth for the rear sprocket and I think that will about solve the issues other than lack of power.. but the clutch springs and idol should be #1 priority and would make a world of difference
You should pick up a belt transmission, they make a big difference, and they are geared a lot lower. A 36t is about the same as a 48t.
Buy a small dirt bike you fool. Gas bicycles are for knocking around the neighborhood. I took my camera off road and it's broken and stuck..........yrjk
Was down there during spring break and saw a young fella catch a really nice fish just below the spillway at Old Mill
That’s a good spot.
Very nice. Looks like an easy trip to make, too. Thanks for the video!
I don't like to be the bear of bad news but that hub adapter is gonna mess up your spokes it's gonna slip around the hub there's nothing holding it believe me Bud.
The hub adapter needs a pin to work I believe it's call a shim key don't quote me on that but I think that's what it's called.
Nope not that 4 stroke it's to slow and the clutch will burn out..
Idle is way too high, which is why the clutch is burnin up so much!! I have a similar motor!! No where near that high!!!
And not had to change the clutch & ride some hills!! It's a nice Lookin bike just needs a bit of TLC & tuning!!
It's idling way to high and should scuff up your clutch pads so they grab better plus need to check you springs on the clitches maybe to strong of springs it just touch and it will break clutches apart on you even take the clutch bull and it's the smoother
Make it smoother
Plus put a bigger sproket 50 tooth
So you solved the clutch burning problem on this bike ? Or is it a different bike ?
I worked on it a bit and it has improved, but it still burns through clutches too frequently for my liking. I think I’m going to sell it and build another 2 stroke.
@@CR03_Outdoor_Adventures yea that's probably the best thing to do ..
Man that sucks that the bike didn't work out for you...
A fly fishing net would do you and the fish a lot of good my friend. Great catches
Maybe you should get a bigger motor with a torque converter on it.
😎 "promosm"
your engine is idling pretty high it would help to turn it down
Mate why don't you put a chainsaw motor on your bike you will get more power and you don't have to do any mods at all but just buy a 2 stroke exhaust pipe for a power ban , but you are doing well
He is fight I mean I need sure action cam to show how powerful 2 strokes are to be self for a 500-700€/$\¥/¢
A beefier clutch will do the job
When you have a decently big sprocket on a centrifugal clutch it has a lot of stress on it so it burns up quicker
Btw when you ran out of gas can you pedal it like a normal bicycle or is it hard/heavy with extra weight on the bike?
This particular bike would be difficult to pedal uphill without the engine on, but it’s doable on flat ground.
Do the drawers need to be waterproofed?
I will probably add some polyurethane or something, but the tonneau cover is pretty well sealed, so not a lot of water gets in there. When they aren’t in use they are stored in a garage.
Nice ride dude! I’m looking forward to riding on warm days. Ride safe
Nice bro
I have the same engine still same original clutch try straight exhaust with 4g belt drive and switch to a different carb plus i have used a 50 tooth rear sprocket and was doing 43kmh tried 36 tooth and it would drag slow to start but it would do 53kmh when you got going also try adjusting the rakers to 4mm exhaust and 6mm intake port and see if that helps but there a fun build used to run 69cc 2 stroke with a few mods and it was a headache
I went on a ride today so yeah it was nice if you want a better ride switch to the belt drive I use it and it pulls a lot better
I’ll have to try it out sometime
are you talking about a 53cc engine that has a black cover over the belt drive box?
@@pitapitabread yeah that's the only transmission I used on my 49cc/53cc engines my phantom to is the only chain drive I got the others are belt to chain
Nice ride..
Yes it was!
Looks like you pedaled 90 % of your trip.
This bike is only 49cc and the hills are steeper than they look on camera. This is kind of like an e-bike in a way where you still have to pedal but the engine greatly assists you. It does really well on flat streets though.
@@CR03_Outdoor_Adventures I have the same engine and it is able to get off the line and go up steeper hills than that. Is your clutch ok? I think it might be slipping, like a lot.
@@Bransomware the clutch seems to be the weak point on this build. I’ve replaced it twice. I bought the “racing clutch.” but it only helped a little bit. I’ve tried a bunch of different things and it has gotten slightly better but they still slip a lot. I never had any issues with the clutches on the two strokes so I might build another one at some point.
It was Pitch Black for us, Ride Safe 👽👍🏻
I’ll have to use my headlamp next time 😂
Looks and sounds awesome brother ride safe
Smart one, mirrors always. Thanks for sharing.
what is the frame size of your bike to fit the 4stroke engine?
Usually 26"
Yeah a 26” frame should be good. I like to build them on beach cruiser style bikes because of all the space and they feel more natural to me. The 4 stroke engine barely fit on this bike. I had cut the channels holding the brake and shifting cables off.
Can it fit a 24 size frame or nah thanks again for the help
@@smart1998 yup, you can build a 24" but be careful now, they will reach 10000 rpm fáster.
@@smart1998 I'm not entirely sure. If you could it would be tight. Personally, I'd just buy a bike off of facebook marketplace or craigslist. Good beach cruisers usually go for $40 - $80 in my area. Worst-case scenario you clean it up and flip the bike until you find the right one.
