Great machine!... My Areins blower is from 1973 and its still going repowered with a 6.5 greyhound engine from harbor freight now the call them predators! 😂.. It's my back up blower for my DR blower with a 17hp a Kawasaki engine...used it today in New Jersey nice to have electric start!💪🇯🇵

When are you doing a cold start on the snow blower? 🤔

Looks like there is a small hole to the left of the very middle of the crossbar for the brake >>>> My Switz Cruiser has the exact same hole, but on the right side. This tells me that both bikes were run through the same jigs, therefore, they are the same, but with a few tweaks >>>> like a disc brake ready option in the rear, cable guides throughout, and a stock front disc brake, all on the Switz. I just received my new cantilever brake in the mail today. Part # 1080A >>>> it's extra long so it can reach fendered tires with ease. Might wanna check em out for next time. 👍

Thanks. HOWEVER, I remain confused. When I unbolted the barrel holder flange things from each end of drive shaft, dropped it, marked front and rear on both driveshaft and the barrel holder flange things, I discovered a THIRD BARREL HOLDER! My guess is goes on engine end, as that end had longer bolts, but I honestly don’t see the proper way to position it….

I wanna know the measurements of that exact caliper so I know what NOT to get for my new Cruiser. I have a Switz, built almost idemtical to this one, but it has a rear disc brake mount built into the frame, and on the front fork. Still, the place for the caliper is exact, down to the fender screw. Weird thing, my crossbar already has a hole in the top of it, but about .5" to the right. It's also smaller than a bolt for a caliper would be, but not by much. I have no idea what it's there for. 🤪 I have to make sure the caliper is long enough to have to move the shoes 'up', not down. The Switz, like your bike, was made for an engine in mind. I especially like how the coaster brake is manufactured on about a 30 degree slant for chain & sproket clearance. It has to be angled cuz it bolts to the arm that goes up to the caliper crossbar. SLICK!!! Thanx
