as a 24 year old male who’s dad was non existent it’s great to see a dad with a business to pass down to his predecessor. HOWEVER i would say make sure this is what your son truly wants in his life. Once again this is great but look at the company you built from ground and up and decide if you’re willing to be Dad and Manager .
Even if his son don’t wanna drive he can hire other drivers to do the work for him and he don’t have to drive a thing! That’s the beauty of this business too

Hey Vic! Can you discuss truck storage? Right now I store my truck at Extraspace Storage. It has gone from $327, to $451 per month. Ill have to rent a new space to bring it back down, but space availability is very hard to come by. I've only checked one truck yard, and it's $30 per day. I hear that some people leave their trucks at store lots, and, I've also heard people return to pick up their trucks from store lots and find their trucks on bricks. Any insight or suggestions? Thanks! (I live in Miami)
hey vic good to see you and jr out here getting that bag,,,here is a quick tip when it comes to DEF FLUID what ever you do don't use DEF from the fuel island purchase it from international ken worth peterbilt or Walmart real talk that's what I do I buy 12 jugs of DEF at a time and I get a discount from ken worth ,,,,trust me fam it is a lot cheaper than having to call a tow truck because your truck is derating on the freeway at rush hour hahahahaha ,take care

Finding a good truck. That almost kept me from starting. I talk about it in my I Almost Quit video.

I’m curious what the level 1 inspection included?
45 min truck inspection. Tires, air brake pressure test, wipers, wiper fluid. Brake inspection, several other checks. Paperwork etc.
I know Amazon loves dinging you for being late, how did you have to report the pull over and did they try to ding you for that Vic?
That was after the load was dropped off. But if that happens there is a DOT inspection reason for late you can select in app if that happens while you are in route with a load.
Can u do Amazon relay with a 12 ft or 16 ft box truck?!
16 ft loads appear at times.

They require one. Yes. I’ve seen people without one, but that could be trouble if you take a load that requires one. ✌🏾

From warehouse to warehouse how far do you travel ? Is it the same route daily?? Thanks in advance
It’s the spot market sometime you may see the same route sometimes it’s different. Miles vary. Long routes short routes there is a mixture. You decide what you want to run. You choose what you want to run and how far you want to go. 👍🏾

i got approved for amazon relay and i cant get my id approved because they saying my endorsement dont match.i have tankers, hazmat, twin. im class a, but i brought i 26ft. can i go in person to get it. done. also being that im new my score is a zero i cant see no loads. how can i get started. im from charlotte too.
You’ll have to run a load or 2 before you generate a score. Send an email to ddu-driver-badging@amazon.com ✌🏾
Double check that your endorsements on your license and those checked in your pre-registration match. Often it's small box that is checked without realizing and they will just kick it back and not tell you what to correct exactly.

My driver email Amazon Relay his selfi.He hasn't received any email where to pick up his badge.He went to pick up a load and was denied entry. Ultimately the load was rejected.
What's the procedure to accelerate the process of he getting his badge.

I wouldn’t risk my business or anyone else’s for marijauna. This isn’t this business for that!! Did you see the Department Of Transportation officer pull me over. That’s a $10k fine + your insurance is going through the roof if caught driving or smelling like it. 🤦🏾♂️🤔
