      I've been driving box truck for years. I was trained on a 36 foot. And I rent one to move across country every 4 to 5vyrs .make sure u check those tires especially when loaded tires are the trucks shoes .

    You seem like a great teacher that guys lucky to get to learn from you. Most jobs I’ve had the guy teaching you expects you to be on his level on your first day and just loses his mind when you can’t live up to his 20 years of experience

    Hey
    Just to inform you on 2 things
    1) it's a diesel engine your oil is always gonna be black even if its a day old that's why you gotta keep track of your oil changes with your miles.
    2) when turn on your truck, first you open your switch you will hear 3 clicks or you will see a orange light on your dash once the light goes off you can crank the switch.
    You always do this to turn your truck on you have glow plugs that have warm up before starting engine.
    Also before turning off your engine let it run for a few seconds before shutting off.
    Because your turbo needs to stop on its own it will prolong the life of your turbo.

      @@frank0720i Thanks Franco. Respect for people like you with decades of experience but still constructively address issues. Some people come on channels to criticize blindly. I wonder why they can't channel their advice for Semi driver with years of experiences that didn't lock his pins in the container that fell off days ago , and the other driver that didn't articulate his fifth wheel on Monday.

      When we first got the truck the oil wasn’t that dark … I was worried when I first got it and kept checking the oil every single day for the first month …Thanks For the Advice I’m running to the truck to check it now

      @@norushcrew bet. You know I’ll be tuned in. I’m happy you are actually going through and showing the paperwork process as well. That seems to be brushed over by most. I be watching like show me paper work details that admin part of the job is so important to pay attention too.

    Also when you back you truck to the dock and it jams then you put the chock then they load you most likely with a forklift , do you have a problem taking the wheel chock out???well if you do here a simple fix to that, when you back up and hit the dock move the truck about and inch then put ypu wheel chocks.. let me know how it goes

    If I don't have a factoring company can I still fillmore carrier packets with my bank info and change it to a factoring company at a later time if need be?

      Yeah it just may take up to 3 days to pay or they have up to 90 days to pay once you send the invoice to them I factor with RTS is you give my guy a call he can set you up so you can get pay in 24 hours if you submit before deadline

      Wow that’s a great way to encourage some one no matter what you think you should be giving them tips to help build them not your negative comments ! One thing my momma always said if you can’t say nothing nice then just keep your mouth shut!!

      We all started somewhere. They will get there. That was basic enough, and especially on a rental truck.

      Remember they are still learning it takes time.
      Also it's a process the more there on the road the more they learn.
      I'm 52 and I Remember my first day on a highway with 80k pounds my knees where shaking like crazy that's was 28 years ago.

      @@charmainfrazier176 l think it is worse to say someone doing something wrong that they are doing great especially when it is something serious like a commercial truck without proper inspections which could be anyone family next to this truck that haven't even check for brakes before start rolling on the highway ,so before you you commenting greats things ask yourself if you would like your loves one by a truck without proper inspection

      @@tanylogisticsgroupllc7052 agree you have to start somewhere but now they're teaching people without they having the knowledge and that's the problem, by the way , doesn't matter where the truck came from as finance/lease/rental , you're the responsible for this vehicle and you are suggested to check the truck top to bottom
