I bought the same voice changer and amplifier you recommended. Very nice cost-effective option. The only thing is when I talk people have said it sounds like the audio is coming from your waist, not from the helmet as that’s where the amplifier is clipped with the belt clip
Bro😭😭 your voice changer videos are the best on youtube. Can you find something for us ghostface cosplayers? Most of us are not blessed to sound like roger l jackson obviously 😂 so anything to give atleast a good horror movie voice thats CLOSE to rogers ghostface would be killer ❤️❤️
sure, if you're comfy using a soldering iron. I made a video of breaking this thing open to see its guts and for potential helmet embedding. You can check out that one ruclips.net/video/iN5IDtighgg/видео.htmlsi=-yFPS-KBfnsfoUuF&t=86 or my Vader video ruclips.net/video/Xl_GnWC-jMU/видео.htmlsi=ZwltfzBhsRYD3e36&t=4446 You could remove that mic from the board and remote that mic or wire in a different mic. Just know there are some micro parts on there which tend to be more sensitive to overheating so I'd recommend using lower temperature solder and limiting your time applying heat to that board. Here's some low temp solder I've used: amzn.to/3YwVE85
The Stranger voice is a cool low pitch with a pinch of close distance reverb which sounds like talking inside a pipe. For bargain easy to use voice changers - the ONLY one that does both a pitch and reverb at the same time is the K9 voice changer. Because I like this voice I’d totally test it out on my K9 but I seem to have misplaced it. If you have a deep voice you could just use one of the reverb options. The M11 or i9 are viable for reverb if you’re okay with a general reverb. Most people wouldn’t know it’s not perfect. However if you want a close return or pipe sound reverb on an inexpensive device - the DSP-99 is a tool that offers this for like $13. You will however need a preamp. I’m not sure if the DSP-99 offers both a deeper pitch and reverb pipe combo though. For the price it may be worth a try, because it’s a very versatile device. Worst case scenario you can definitely do both pitch and close reverb on a Zoom Multistomp - if you’re okay with $100 price tag and the larger footprint of the device - it should meet all your cosplay needs ever.
Yes it sure would assuming yours has a 3.5mm input. The only thing you’d then need is a microphone with a male 3.5mm plug for your input to the i9. I dunno how user friendly the jbl speaker is for having on you and wired up - so if that’s a concern here is a great inexpensive personal voice amp that comes with a lanyard/belt- Norwii amzn.to/3ZqUOKQ
I still have a batch of Moukey VA-1s but those aren’t sold anymore ( unless you want to buy a CallVi v-307 direct from China - it’s just a bit of a hassle. So this Norwii is a great alternative; its board is actually SMALLER than the Moukey’s however only has a mic input (no aux, tf card or usb inputs). Most folks don’t need those anyway so it’s a great space saver! amzn.to/47meYYE
@@creative-stuffdoes this amp have a preamp slot and will it work with the i9 ? I wanna try cosplaying the Stranger Qimir voice and I seen your other comment, love your videos! Very informative

Impeccable timing! Was trying to find an up to date video for this so I can use it for my Kylo Ren costume this year!
Glad it helped! The M11 is great for a variety of Star Wars characters. I hope it works out well for you!
Is there any way to use an external microphone

Does the audio amplified also work for the I9
Not sure I understand the question- if you are asking if the amp used in this M11 video will work for the i9, then: Yes, any audio amp should work.
Can you do a stranger voice changer from star wars the acolyte?

@@creative-stuff Thanks
Im a noob when it comes to this stuff but would a little portable JBL speaker work for this? is that an amplified speaker?
Yes it sure would assuming yours has a 3.5mm input.
