I don't know if this is intended, but the fact that this takes place in Kylo's mind speaks volumes of his inner confliction with the dark side. From the moment Vader speaks, he refers kylo as "Ben", Sith of any kind rarely use the old names of their opponents like that because they have some sense of honor to those who embrace the dark... its clear that this version of vader is his mind trying to shake his resolve as kylo fights the little light he has left of him at this point. Vader's lack of aggression also shows how little he really knew about his grandfather other than what history tells him... all in all, its clear that Kylo here wants to be something strong to stand against his past and grow using his heritage and anger as his mental sword and shield

To be honest, this was very well made for something that isn't official, and shows Kylo having to deal with the inner struggles of his wants. He wants to be Vader so damn bad, but Vader was so strong, that damn near everything was effortless for him.
This was amazing, and would have been a cool deleted scene type thing, when he would have been next to the helmet or something like that. 10/10 quality.

Darth Vader Yeah that’s why Vader vanished when kylo turns around after that stormtrooper says they still haven’t found anything. It could have been just Kylo’s fear of ruining Vader’s legacy causing him to hallucinate or perhaps the ghost of Vader visiting him in full form rather than through the burnt helmet. We won’t know for sure until Rise of Skywalker.

OMoo dude, that should be in Episode 9. They both have destinies heavily affected by Vader and they have fears connected to him. Luke feared Vader, and the vision ultimately showed him he was fighting himself all along, that he is afraid of himself not being strong enough. Kylo Ren fears not being as strong as Vader, but ultimately is fighting himself because he fears his own weakness just like Luke did.

I'm a huge fan of star wars seen every movie,tv show,audiobooks and the actual books I've also read every single comic about star wars I know everything about star wars and fan made or not Darth vader is way to powerful for even the strongest of sith no Jedi or sith can take on Vader and survive unless equal power or greater then that of Vader's his sute alone can withstand heavy amounts of laser fire and can also withstand several strikes with a lightsaber and the fact that kilo put the saber through Vader's sute would have been impossible given the fact that Vader doesn't just have a strong but also has faster reflex's then any other sith or Jedi alike dos being said Vader can not be beaten unless by someone of the same bloodline
