hello, from one day drinker to another you can add warm (around ~60*c) water to make it a warm cocktail instead of heating it over a stove or microwave although i personally prefer all my cocktails cold and strong B))
Worth nothing that most brown sugars on the market these days, including demerara sugar, have actually been refined as much as white sugar. They then add the molasses after for colour and flavour. This drink is actually very nice as a winter warmer, do try it hot!
Love this video { and all your other besides } . This is actually very similar to recipes for gin slings I have come across over the years. The sling was a pre-cursor to the cocktail, in fact we have documentation that in it's early days, a cocktail was called a "bittered-sling" the bitters being what made it a cocktail. Also, you like Jas. Townsend & Sons too: can we be friends? Also, also, I'll make this the next time I have some Dunwall City Watch officers and General Turnbull over.
I think sometime in the future you should find a real-world equivalent to "Old Dunwall Whisky" , if you decide to undertake that mission, I think you should start looking at 19th century Scotch whisky { both Single-Malt and Blended varieties }. Also, for what it's worth, I've always imagined Old Dunwall Whisky as tasting like Talisker 10 Year Old, or Laphroaig 10 Year Old. I just included my personal theories in case you needed a starting point, I chose Single-Malts with maritime notes in their flavours because Dunwall is a a seaport, and I happen to favour those whiskies quite a bit. I hope this has helped you, and I look forward to your video endeavours in the future.
Yeah I came to a similar conclusion once on a Reddit post: old.reddit.com/r/dishonored/comments/in8s29/what_real_whiskey_do_you_think_old_dunwall_tastes/ I settled on a mix of Talisker and Caol Ila, though I don't think the quality would be nearly as good or aged as long. I'm not sure if there's enough material there to make a video on it.
@@ericlewisauthor Very interesting idea, might have to try it myself, I can see why it might not have enough material for a video, it was really nice of you to reply though!
You should make more drinks and maybe try to make pear soda or plagued spirit but it’s understandable if you don’t want to make that because of how disgusting it is.
Would you consider making a video on the significance on *Runes* and *Bones Charms* in Dishonored? (I haven't seen all of your videos yet, so I don't know if you already went over them.)
