I just gave Dishonored another playthrough and started a new Dishonored 2 game (as Emily). I sure with they would continue the series. There is SO much they can do with the game. I was hoping they would do something with Morley & Tyvia or maybe even Pandesia.
Great video man. I have a suggestion for a video and it's on the academy of natural philosophy. Referenced in the games, but would love to hear its story and practices. Keep up the quality content.
Thanks so much. I'd love to do a video on the academy, I just wonder whether there's enough lore available. I'll certainly see what I can put together though!
Hey if you could find recipes on the internet. You should try to make following drinks related to dishonored. -Old Pattie's Gristol Cider -Mulberry Mead -Padilla Pear Soda -Rivera Fig Wine
Loved this video, I was curious, where did you acquire the dishonored props, the brass lantern and others are amazing and I’d love to add it to my collection. Also I love the dedication to being as lore accurate as possible, when you pulled up the chemical equation to find a alternative to whale oil I was astonished, great content as always!
Thank you very much! I made the lantern just from brass foil scraps and a candle hurricane holder. The others I made out of bits and pieces. I did a blog post on the mana potion here: ericlewis.ink/pieros-spiritual-remedy/ and the rune: ericlewis.ink/dishonored-rune-construction/
@@ericlewisauthor ah, Awesome! Looks amazing, I'll read through your posts now, Such a talented creator you deserve much more credit for all the work you put into your videos, keep it up, love it
Yep! I did a Reddit post on it once, but I think I must've deleted it long ago. I find it's best using Old Tom style gin, and it's better I think using brown sugar syrup instead of solid sugar.
I can see why King Street Brandy would be popular among the elite/connoisseurs. These people have terrible taste. They eat brined Hagfish and jellied eels.
It’s astonishing how it looks just like the one from the game, I wonder what Sokolov would think about it.
Maybe good enough to trade for a portrait 🙂
Now all we’re missing is cigars and we can gather tonight 🤣
Great vid as always
You're such a choffer! 😀
Didn't even know you COULD bribe Sokolov with something from Piero. It feels like every other day I discover something new about these games.
If you pick the bribe dialogue option it is mentioned and a marker appears over Piero, hope this helps :)
I'm glad that Dishonored is still getting attention even 12 years later. Very tempted to try making this myself. Earned my sub. :)

You sir deserve wayyy more subscribers
Thank you so much! One line that I always put in every one of my books is "No one gets what they deserve in life, except by accident."
Dude, this is dedication, Congrats! GREAT work !
There’s something funny about “whale bile is just too gross to eat. Anyway, here’s some fish liver juice instead” lol
Since I love Dishonored and am not picky when it comes to hard alcohol, I'd probably find this delectable lol Great concept for a video, anyways
Great effort; thanks a lot for sharing the whole creation process!
ive gotta make this for a session of the ttrpg
They might not appreciate it too much!

I think the decanter glass for the King Street Brandy in game is actually called a ships decanter if you wanted to know.
Outstanding Samuel introduction Brother. 👌
Very interesting, nice vid, enjoyed watching. Also, not a complaint, but the self insert of the books was amusing in a good way haha.
Haha, yeah, trying to spread the word by any means possible. I haven't the luxury of shame!
@@ericlewisauthor Well I'm not much of a reader, but I hope it works out for you! 👍
Just discovered your channel, I am a huge fan of Dishonored too! Your channel is so bloody awesome!

good stuff
Thanks so much!
This was very enjoyable to watch. I can imagine the taste. Guess a drink like this would fit right in within the world of the Isles.

I never knew that someone made the drinks from my favorite game, now I need to try this, thank you.
Good god that's a lot of saphron that you used.
Yep found that out too late!
true, but saffron has a VERY subtle taste and wouldn't affect the overall product very much.
A thoughtful and interesting video
Thanks!
That looks good!
Yeah but it sure doesn't taste good...
Pretty cool! Ever try the cocktail that's on the blackboards in the second game? It's pretty good, though boring compared to this

I see I am dealing with a man of taste... 🥃💀🗡️
Hey, no need to be insecure about your hair! Everyone has them
I just wish I had more on my head and less on my arms 8-)
Great great video, love your channel as someone who wishes there were about 100 more dishonred games 🥲
now do gristol cider
That can’t taste as bad as rot gut whiskey.
No not that bad.
dang
