Today we show you how to make the Blackberry Gin Sling. This is a variation of the Gin Sling. The gin sling has been around for a long time and America claims it as there own invention however Britain claims that they were making it 80 years before but as a long style drink. Wherever it was actually created we got a great cocktail out of it. And the Blackberry Gin Sling is a great variation. This is one of those easy cocktails with gin to try and perfect.

BLACKBERRY GIN SLING
4-5 Mint Leaves
3-5 Blackberries
2 oz/60 ml Gin
2 oz/60 ml Lemon Juice
1 oz/30 ml Simple Syrup
2 oz/60 ml Soda water or to top the glass.
Method
1. Add the mint and berries to the shaker.
2. Muddle Gently.
3. Add remaining ingredients except the soda water.
4. Shake with Ice for 10-15 seconds.
5. Fine strain over fresh ice in a highball glass.
6. Garnish with a sprig of min and 1 blackberry.
