    Personally, I like it better with .75oz of lemon juice. It allows the pineapple to show through a bit better and cuts down on some of the acidity.

    It's a Bourbon Tiki! ... Or a Tiki Bourbon? Either way, I found it needs a strong bourbon like Old Forester or Wild Turkey 101 for the bourbon to get through the pineapple.
    With a little adjusting it's a great way to enjoy a 106° Texas summer day!!! (Be sure to keep a gallon of water handy too, you'll need about a quart an hour)

    Any advice on making a pitcher of this in advance for a cookout? 6 adults. Would it hold up?

    • @boozeontherocks
      @boozeontherocks  Год назад +1

      This will hold up. The best way to batch a cocktail is to measure the ingredients by weight fits then shake and then subtract the new weight to get the amount of dilution. dor for example. if all of the ingredients weighed 225 g, and then yo shake it and it the weighs 275 g. Subtract the two of them and you get 50 g of water from shaking. Then multiply all ingredients by the number of cocktails you want. (6). the add the required amount of water.
