I have the hybrid 140 in 4x2, extreme trim, the EV part is for me and from far the best feature. It's super useful in the city and in traffic jam, It makes It extremely confortable to drive. Plus, I nearly got an accident a few days ago, the obstacle detection and emergency braking system works really well, I was genuinely impressed. Overall, even if the finish is rather on the cheap side, It's still a killer car for the price you pay.
I will receive my Duster 140 hybrid (Journey) any day now. I'm very excited, as I heard a lot of very positive comments about it. And in my opinion, as much as I liked my old Duster, the new Duster looks so much better! Actually, my current Duster could have been my car for many years from now, but, It's a Diesel, and our government makes it really hard (as in: expensive) to own a Diesel, lately. But that diesel was so much fun to drive. I'm afraid I'll miss that car a lot. And that's the first car I ever owned, that I will miss.... But then again, I'm really curious how this new hybrid will be.
The electric parking brake is simple enough though. If you apply it normally, it just holds your car in place on a more or less horizontal surface. Ideal when you (are obliged to) apply the handbrake at traffic lights, or parking for a short while. It wil disengage automatically when you drive away. If however you park on a slope, then apply the electronic handbrake by pulling the handle a bit longer. Then the handbrake will be tightened, and hold your car even on a slope.
Can you do a trailing test too? Also like controllability slow offroad manoeuvring... I know many low budget farmers use the Duster for transportation, for materials and small livestock.
Nice wheels, could you please let me know model and size (all parameters) for both front and rear? Did you use distances? I'm just looking something like your wheels for winter. Unfortunately DD3 has unusual ET and it's hard to find something on after market. Thanks
Have you tried pulling the parking brake for 5 seconds? The longer you pull it, the more the parking brake will be applied. More tips and info can be found on the Dacia video tutorials channel on RUclips
Glad to see that things that you like are all design features, nothing important, opposite from what I saw from your "hate" video ;) BTW about front bumper that you like, how do you like 10cm gap between front bumper and your protection plate....
Thank You for all the videos, its better the the manual 100%. To update the infotainment system, do I need to conect to mt own hotspot, because I've been driving the car for a week now and its always 98 % 1 step of 2 XD
Well, the improved 4x4 modes are also huge improvement from previous duster. Or the fact that DSC can be deactivated up to 105 km/h in MUD-SAND mode. In previous duster the maximum was ~ 85 km/h in LOCK mode.
for the electric brake, you can pull and hold for 6-10 seconds to engage the maximum grip, but that works only once when you are on a slope. Tried it on the Jogger- works. But you can also adjust the hand brake force by visiting a technician. There were many issues with Joggers not holding properly, needed adjusting.
@theanswer1993 Thanks. It looks like Journey, but assume the roof bars are an optional extra in RO. Didn’t have that as an option for the Journey 4x2 that I ordered here in UK.
@@mattmckeon1688 I think UK has a bit different configuration than the rest of Europe. Here Journey and Extreme are basically the same with each getting a few extra feature like modular roof bars on extreme or double floor on Journey. So the base price is the same and then you can add options on top of it like the winter or the city pack. I think in UK you get a lot of these features already with the trim level and as far as I read the extreme is the one with most of them.
Dacia cars today are pretty good for technology, aesthetic and price, the problem is that in the euroncap tests it still has 3 stars. They need to reach 5 stars, so they have to improve a lot
Do you have any idea where/and if at all, it is possible to connect a usb with music in the Duster 3? There are two usbC ports on the front..but aren't they just for power?
I don't get the YouClip hype. It all seems so silly - all I need is a phone holder as a driver. Is it really that awesome or does everyone copy the Dacia PR talk?
The YouClip itselt isn't that wow right now because the options they give are mediocre. BUT, as soon as 3'rd party companies come up with new stuff for the clip, some will be very interesting. Like he said for example, a magnetic phone holder instead of that cheap thing will be Godsent.
@@tendue3213 I'm 100% they don't but basically someone just needs to find out a great way to print the mount and then everyone can start creating their own gadgets :)
I've changed my mind after the test drive. The gear shift is very hard to switch from gear to another. Too much noise coming from the engine even is a petrol car plus other things I discovered during the 30 minutes test drive. Very expensive car. I'd rather spend € 30.000 on a Toyota Rav 4.

Does the autopilot slow down when detecting cars in front on the same lane?

Getting mine with the ECO G LPG 100 engine ... hope it will have enough power !!!

Great vid. How loud the Arkamys infotainment system is?
Дастер 💣💣💣, может дождемся....
Thx for the video. Will you put a lightbar on this duster like you did on the old one?

The thing with the DRL was also on the previous model.

Well, the gap is there, I don’t mind it. I have to bend the upper part of the skid plate but I don’t have time👀

the update on the infotainment system should work without hotspot.
@DusterCoolTravels looks like its updated now, thank You 😊
Hi! What you think about the new bigster for offroad based on your new duster ??

What trim level of the 4x4 is this? It has roof bars but doesn't have copper accented wing mirrors.
It's Journey trim

No, didn’t happen this far

One feature I HATE is the rubber looks section of the front doors. It's a distraction and in my opinion adds nothing to the look and functionality

They never will because NCAP stars are not their goal. Their goal is to put the essentials in the car and do that well

Show me Toyota Rav 4 for 30.000 please. More like 45.000 or more.
excactly, with 30k maybe you get a second hand rav 4.
I would buy a Porsche 911 for 30 k
