Another excellent review. You both really produce excellent content and present in such a genuine informative way. First class even if you are in WTP 😉 Thanks for taking the time to create this I really enjoyed it. 👍
It’s a shame you didn’t review the bathroom on such a large plane. It can be a very important piece of a disabled person’s choice on whether or not to fly on the aircraft.
Fair comment - we do usually include a quick bathroom clip but we just genuinely forgot on this one. We have a flight in June to Boston - economy out and premium economy back to do a cabin comparison and will ensure we include bathrooms on that one
@@TimAndMatt awesome. It’s particularly important to see what the actual seat looks like. Whether or not it has that horseshoe style seat that’s open in the front. I thought I saw one on BA in one video.
Short and sweet. This review, which is perfectly put together, does exactly what it says on the tin. I just wish you had more subscribers, as I really enjoy travelling along with you both.
One member of your party had to be BA gold or one world equivalent. Only one and all can use the first class bad drop (we had 5 in our group). However, we then had to use the standard task track security. In order to fully utilise both first class bad drop, first security and to use the gold lounge, at lease half of your party must have BA gold or one world equivalent. Hope this helps!
Hello @TheTigerMothMan - yes, only on the upper deck. The A380's are starting a refurb soon to update the cabins, however I would imagine the layout would remain the same and that will not start until towards the end of 2024 and into 2025 I believe
Thank you ☺️ I always find the food depends on taste if the business class food wasn’t great, there’s a good chance the premium economy food wasn’t great too. And vice versa 🙃
Thanks, great to watch. How did you find the condition of the A380 cabin? Have seen others who have complained about urgent need for an upgrade of the cabin of the about 10 year old A380's. Are flying with them this summer to Los Angeles.
We didn’t feel it was too bad on this one but I know what you mean. All you need is a broken chair and the whole experience is ruined and can make the whole cabin feel down. I do believe the A380s are due to refurb soon although I’m not sure quite to what extent. The bins allocated by the windows do make it feel some of the most spacious WTP seats in the BA fleet
I’m you can access BA lounges if flying in Club or First, or are a BA silver or higher or one work equivalent. I don’t believe you can pay to access. Everything inside the lounges are free with the hotel exception of some spa treatments

Thank you, that's so nice of you to say and very much appreciated! :)

Thank you so much, what a lovely comment 🥰 we have the best and kindest subscribers. We love having you coming along with us ✈️
I’d rather save £500 each and go regular economy
We live and learn
I was on a BA A380 in May 2024 and had one of those aisle seats and yes they need to be replaced they suck!!!
I’m fairly sure all the A380’s are going in for a refurb starting this year so they should all be upgraded soon 🤞
@@TimAndMatt Well that would be good...
Hey
Great review! So happy I found your channel!
Thank you! So happy you found us!
Kind of wish we’d have never done WT+ with BA as now we feel like we could never go back to regular economy 😂
What’s all this regular economy we hear so much about 😜🤣
Hi flying this to Singapore, how did you wangle first class bag drop section 🤔

I'm going to San Francisco with BA Premium Economy on the 380, is the premium economy cabin only on the upper deck?

Excellent review. I took this same flight last year in upper deck biz class. It appears the service and food you got was much better, note to self. 😂
Thank you ☺️ I always find the food depends on taste if the business class food wasn’t great, there’s a good chance the premium economy food wasn’t great too. And vice versa 🙃
Flew this in Sept 2023. Was impressed with the plane and service.

Lovely video, thank you. What month of the year was this if you don’t mind me asking please. Going with same to Miami next month. Thanks
Thank you. This video was taken in August 2023
Great concise video with all the information I need. Thanks Tim and Matt
Thank you for watching! ☺️
Good review, very informative. Flying to LAX on BA A380 in WT+ on Monday. Hope it’s worth the extra, I need the legroom
Thank you for watching! I think the biggest and main reason for WT+ is the leg room. It does make a difference on longer flights for sure
@@TimAndMatt sounds good, thanks
Any visit of the Concorde Room? 😛
Sadly not on this one!
landing was like Ryanair
It was a tad bumpy!
Beautifully put together .🥰
Thank you very much! ☺️
Hi, what are the charges for BA Lounge on terminal 3. I'll land in terminal 5 and transfer to terminal 3 for forward flight.
I’m you can access BA lounges if flying in Club or First, or are a BA silver or higher or one work equivalent. I don’t believe you can pay to access.
Everything inside the lounges are free with the hotel exception of some spa treatments
what is your height, how is the true leg room in seats in Workd traveler rows??
6ft, which is about 182cm? Leg space is fine in WT+. Knees did not touch the seat in front unless I really sunk into my chair and stretched out
The unspoken dress code obviously is long gone.
