Another fantastic video Tim and Matt and thank you for sharing. I enjoy your channel and your travel videos are of the perfect length whilst remaining very informative. I totally agree BA really is hit or miss and I have had some real mixed experiences on flights to the US. Recently outbound to Houston a fantastic experience with a wonderful crew in First. The return from Dallas was a very poor experience with crew openly saying they were tired and how they hated their jobs. Real shame. I look forward to seeing more of your adventures. How did you find 1K? I found it very noisy on the A350 due to the galley. Best wishes to you both.
Thank you for watching again and for the lovely comment - we're glad we're doing something right with these videos ☺️ 1K wasn't too bad to be honest. You could hear the galley now and then but it wasn't too bad. It was more annoying that they kept locking the toilet there to keep people out and having to go the the ones at the back
What a wonderful video! I love that you enjoyed all of the lounges prior to boarding. I only have to fly across the US to get to Vegas, and we make it a point to fly 1st Class. I am sure having to fly as far as you guys, that's the only way to enjoy it. Very nicely done! And you have a very soothing voice that really makes it that much more enjoyable.
Hi T&M - very nice lounges - unfortunately we will never fly enough to accrue the miles required to ever access these. The flight and your personal space there is great - probably quite pricey for us without status. Great view of the arrival in Vegas. Excellent vlog - cheers!!!! 😎🍻
That is the standard landing from the East but occasionally they take you right down the strip from north to south. They rarely use that runway from the north but when they do it’s the coolest view!
I think in all the years we've flown into Vegas, we have only every landed north to south once and we were on the wrong side of the plane haha. I bet it's a heck of a sight
nice video but if your seated at the back in economy going to vegas go as quick as you can when you exit the plane as border control is very busy and the line is huge, but good landing views and i was lucky as we came in the opposite direction but the view was awesome/
Flying this route in business at the end of May - I never knew we could use the Cathay lounge - would you advise heading straight there and bypassing the BA Lounge? Cheers.
If you are flying in Business and from Terminal 3, yes, you can use any OneWorld Alliance lounge (BA, Cathay Pacific, American Airlines and Qantas). If you fly from Terminal 5, you only have BA lounges in there.
Hey, thank you for watching. No, not that we noticed. We didn't swap seats but having say in different suites over different flights, we are confident there was no difference between these two suites
Hey Tim and Matt love love this video. So magical for me. I noticed in your video you didn't cover The Virgin lounge. Is it worth a visit? Thank you so much for everything
I have used the Cathy lounge and thought it was awful prefer BA . Always go BA great . Never had a problem with crew and cannot believe any crew would say they are tired and hate there job . The only issue with this route is the type of passengers going to Vegas . Bit like Blackpool on steroids . I do know they limit alcohol use on this route and don’t blame them . If you do need to go there I would recommend flying via another USA airport
Shame you didn’t like the Cathy ones. Nothing wrong with the BA ones - I like the bacon rolls in the morning! Crew in this flight were fabulous. Never had any say they hate their job. We have flown via other airports, most popular being LA as they are good flights and more options for times however I’d only popping over for four nights then direct is better imo.
Well you’ve recently joined the business class travellers wot wot wot. We save up avios through various means so always have a bunch to use. If we do buy cash tickets we spend a hell of a lot of time checking prices for days and weeks until we find a bargain(ish) price. Vegas is hard though to get
@@Tims_Travels Ha, that was a total one off 🤣 Hmm.. maybe I need to investigate Avios... fair play , thought I was hobnobbing with millionaires Rodney😉😆 Good stuff as always x
The one in Vegas isn’t great. I think it’s just called ‘Las’ lounge or something like that? Often packed and hot. We normally end up waiting outside the lounge and not always bother

That final turn and line up with the strip always gives me a beaming smile. 😀
Every time!
Really amazing views of Heathrow during take off!!!
Yeah it was! And awesome views landing if you got that far in the video!

Thank you! It's certainly a nice way to do it, just not cheap. Gotta get those miles in 🤪

Totally agree with that. Get off and get down those stairs as fast as possible to security as it can take a long time

Yes I would for sure! Or you could do a little hop around yourself? They’re all pretty much next to each other.
If I fly business class to Vegas in April I can use any of the lounges is that correct?

@@Tims_Travels Many Thanks for the reply
Hi. Thanks for the review video. Did you find any difference between 1K and 2K seats? Bigger footwell or more space?
Hey, thank you for watching. No, not that we noticed. We didn't swap seats but having say in different suites over different flights, we are confident there was no difference between these two suites

Thank you! We couldn’t access the virgin lounge as we were flying with BA and virgin are not a member of the Oneworld alliance
Thank you so much for the quick response greatly appreciated period can't wait to see your new videos

Very fancy, I have to ask, how are you guys getting these 1st class trips?

Is there arrivals lounge in vegas?
I do t think there is actually - at least not from our experience as international arrivals
That lamb isn’t reshaped at all just cooked very well
Ahh, just going by what the crew told us.
The lounge in las vegas airport is absolutely horrendous, hardly any food, slow service at bar
The one in Vegas isn’t great. I think it’s just called ‘Las’ lounge or something like that? Often packed and hot. We normally end up waiting outside the lounge and not always bother
@@Tims_Travels I won't be using it again, we ended up in a restaurant down from it, much better
@evanmclafferty3020 we ended up in Burger King 🤣🤣
