www.pyramydair.... Crosman 357 revolver is an oldie, but goodie... Paul fires off tons of shots and admits to having a weak spot for CO2 action pistols...
I was blown away with the build quality and accuracy of this gun. Especially when you consider the cost. Don't be afraid to add this great shooter to your collection.
this is an excellent co2 revolver! I have the 4" and all metal rifled 8" barrel, and the 8" is the best for power & accuracy. it really is alot of fun!
I actually own one of these really nice comes in nice carrying case with 4 inch barrel and 8 inch barrel it also will take both pellets and bb' s if you use bb' s with it you can put two per hole and you only shoot one at a time pellets are more accurate and pack a lil more punch destroyers are a favorite all in all good little gun
There are tons of differences between airguns and airsofr guns. Softair BB's guns shoot plastic BB's and at lower velocities. Airguns shoot hard air. They shoot pellets and metal bb's at much higher velocities. Thanks, Pyramyd Air Team
Just FYI. The Colt Python the Crossman .357 looks like and you've never seen is the Cadillac of .357 Magnum double action revolvers. Tuned actions and hand fitted from the Colt factory. They don't make them anymore and good luck finding a good one for under $1000, and most much more. I'm looking at the Crossman as a CO2 replica of my Python. Thanks for the review. It answered some questions and I think this will be a nice backyard shooter that somewhat replicates the Python.
the pellets he used are to heavey for that gun , use 7.9 grain pellets, also when closing up the barrel never snap it shut as this will over time damage the barrel latch and suppot boot and can also damage the barrel lock up slot, people please read the instructions that come with your airguns,
The colt python is one of the best revolvers ever made and is actually my favorite firearm. This pellet gun looks a lot like the real one except the handle is different and the cylinder is supposed to swing out.
Wao, I would like to buy this gun for collection and fun. This is a pretty good pistol. Pyramydair is the best place to buy any air gun, they're a very responsible company plus Paul is very specific in his recommendations when buying any air pistol or revolver.
70 shots? I get 4 clips worth (48) Then the pressure from the CO2 starts losing pressure to where I can actually see the pellets in flight. If you're target shooting, I wouldn't worry about keeping count, but if you're trying to take some birds out, I would because once I had a perfect shot, and the pellet flew as if I tossed the it to the bird lol. Just buy the extra 3 clip mags from Pyramyd, and use 1 tank for all 4 loaded clips.
i use the crossman destroyer slugs. they will take down just about anything from 30-40 feet away..the first time bringing it out we shot at targets buy my buddys tin shed.. the destroyers do what there called .. im more than impressed at what this gun can do.. my only question is.. is it bad to leave a new cracked co2 in the gun for weeks on end..
@morvikk2 That didnt help at all. You're not supposed to wait 10 minutes between shots, as was the case here :p Something happened on the 4th or 5th co2 cartridge. At first I thought the cartridge was faulty, but the same happened when I changed it. I googled the problem, and one guy described excactly the same problem. The answer he got was that there was something stuck in the co2 pipes/tubing somewhere...Guess I have to return it...
Hi, I lived in Jakarta Indonesia, and would really love to buy airguns from Pyramydair. Do you have experience on sending airguns to Jakarta? I wonder if it would be seized by the customs or not. Airguns are available for sale here.. but I could only find umarex.
I came across this revolver in a catalog I get but I was wondering what are names of some other good brand bb/pellet revolvers that has a realistic cylinder that you load the pellets into? I saw a video of one on here but most of what ive been finding are these airsoft toys which I kind of dont want to end up spending $100+ for a bb/pellet gun when I can get a real revolver from my gun shop owner for the same price.I like the Crossman name, the air rifle I got back in the 90`s still works great
@morvikk2 Thanks! It will be sorted the next few days, as I received very good personal service at the webshop I bought it from. They will pay for the shipping to return the gun, and sende me a new one in a couple of days:) looking forward to doing some shooting with the 357 again, as I really liked it:)
Thank you for a good review! I bought mine today after seeing your review of it. It's really a fun gun for plinking but I was also surprised by how accurate it really is after some fine adjustment to the rear sight. But after I did some double action shooting I experienced what I thought was a bad case of cool down. I let it rest, tried again, still one good shot then nada. Changed the powerlet, still the same. Any pointers as to what might be the problem? Would be mighty greatful for a reply:)
@pyramydair, Thanks for the reply, its a nice looking revolver but price is alittle more than Id like to pay. What I was looking for is like the 938 UHC 6" airsoft revolver with the realistic flip out cylinder but in a pellet gun form of .177 caliber without the orange tip. I saw a video on here of one that was like that but havent got a reply from the poster on what model it was or the price. I am trying to find something like the above in pellet form preferably in a Magnum style revolver.
The on the Box of the CR357 it say 465 fps. Your highest velocity was 380/fps. The average FPS on the CR357 was 357 fps. The gun has been accurately named. Coincidence????
So this can take red dot scopes? What kind of pellet is the most accurate for this airgun? Does it need any extra mounts or anything to put accessories on it? Which red dot scope is the cheapest but the best for this pistol? PLEASE RIGHT BACK!!!!!
@pyramydair, ah ok. Was just wondering what was out there cause I came across a video of one like an airsoft gun but the fullsize revolver cylinder loaded pellets from behind. Guess ill just have to wait for the person who posted the video to get back to me on the brand and model.
I was looking at the Smith & Wesson 6866 pellet revolver, but just can't bring myself to fork out that kind of cash. I just want to know if this is durable, and doesn't feel cheap. Opinion?
How often do you need to put the pellet gun oil on the co2, is it every time you use a new one? I might get one and i was just curious, and do you know if the c11 tactical is a good gun??
@mexhusler11 dont listen to the generic responses of the pyramyd air team. i own the crossman 357 and yeah those little copper .177's bb's work. they shoot just the pellets just not as accurate at long range
ok I'm looking for a pistol cause i can were it on the belt. this gun seems to be a good price are riffles more money. also what do you think about the colt defender bb gun
I have a 25 year old version of this with an 8 inch barrel that has blown seals. Anything i can do other than swap barrels to my 6 inch modern version purchased last year?
i had a question about this gun i purchased this same gun and whenever i put the co2 in the gun wont shoot so is my gun broken? or is it the co2? i don't have the oil for the co2 so is that the problem please right back?
Hi there im looking for a new co2 pistol to replace my berreta elite 2. Ive narrowed it down to three a sa177 a H&K usp and a crosman 357 which one would you recommend. Is there any other co2 pistols you would recommend under 100$ (promised the women) Thankyou
i also have a question. I live in Boston.Ma and i would like to own a Crosman 357. Is it possible for you to ship to my address and do you guys have the 4 inch barrel kit?
@arckangel2087 you think thats weak for a pistol? high 457 low 380's after being used constantly without a break? wow with pellgun oil mine is super powerful and ive killed birds and squirrels with it
get 2 cans of spam back to back and shoot from 5 feet with one of the destroyers...now try to find the slug lol.. first shot will cut clean through both cans..yea i think you can take down your rats lol
I was blown away with the build quality and accuracy of this gun. Especially when you consider the cost. Don't be afraid to add this great shooter to your collection.
Oil does help!! I have a 60-year old bb gun and thanks to my dad, grandpa, and I oiling it, it works flawlessly!!
this is an excellent co2 revolver!
I have the 4" and all metal rifled 8" barrel, and the 8" is the best for power & accuracy.

Thanks, Pyramyd Air Team
This is Great! Thank you Paul and Pyramyd air!
I just got this air gun I love it so far totally worth 50 bucks
That is correct! If you look up this product on our site, below the image there is a listing of suggested ammo for it.
Thanks,

Thanks for the review, I was thinking about buying this (or a HK UPS) and this helped me immensely!
I have the vigilante which is the updated 357 but would love Crosman to make this model again. Id buy another one!
You're very welcome good sir! It's what we're here for.

That gun is pretty cool.I had a similar one when I was 12 back in '92 but I don't remember it having a hammer that could be cocked or even moved.
the pellets he used are to heavey for that gun , use 7.9 grain pellets, also when closing up the barrel never snap it shut as this will over time damage the barrel latch and suppot boot and can also damage the barrel lock up slot, people please read the instructions that come with your airguns,

@pyramydair got it, thanks for the help!
I suggest comparing the CR357 against a High End Air Pistol, of the same handsize and CO2 12 g cartouches.
We get to see the difference.

That music at the beginning was good
@pyramydair hey i just got this gun its veary nice and affortible thank you for the review

sorry for my idiocy but whats the difference (and whats it do) between a plinker and a target shooter?
How often do you need to put the pellet gun oil on the co2, is it every time you use a new one? I might get one and i was just curious, and do you know if the c11 tactical is a good gun??
Hi Pyramydair Team,
I have one simple question.
Do you ship to holland(the netherlands), because I want to buy the Crosman 357W at your shop
thanks
which is the best for accurate but fairly powerful targer shooting the crossman 357 or the desert eagle
@mexhusler11 dont listen to the generic responses of the pyramyd air team. i own the crossman 357 and yeah those little copper .177's bb's work. they shoot just the pellets just not as accurate at long range
ok I'm looking for a pistol cause i can were it on the belt. this gun seems to be a good price are riffles more money. also what do you think about the colt defender bb gun
i use one of theese for water moccasons when im fishing i put a scope on and shes dead accurate
Best shooting video u make me jealous I want 1 now
instead of using crosman pellgun oil, can i use 3 in 1 lube or will it affect the gun's performance???
That's good music
I have a 25 year old version of this with an 8 inch barrel that has blown seals. Anything i can do other than swap barrels to my 6 inch modern version purchased last year?
will it kill a sparrow around 20 feet?
@gameboy461 jonge het is 70 dollar verzendingskosten naar Belgie is het ook zoveel naar nederland?
Question: what parts of this gun are metal? and how good of quality are the grips??

Dude I love al your videos and thi was very god :)
i had a question about this gun i purchased this same gun and whenever i put the co2 in the gun wont shoot so is my gun broken? or is it the co2? i don't have the oil for the co2 so is that the problem please right back?
As a first BB gun I am getting the crosman 357 or the umarex SA177? Also I am not able to purchase both and send one back.
Thank You
please respond
orange tip only on softair bb guns but not on co2 pellet guns whats the difference.
The last 10 shots I am able to fire from this gun richochet off tin cans. is that normal with the co2 running low?
Would this be usable for a softgun fight? Or is it to "powerful" ?
@EcuadorAirHunter about 10 to 15 metres
Paul, can the rotary mags for the 357 work in the 1077 rifle
Hi there im looking for a new co2 pistol to replace my berreta elite 2. Ive narrowed it down to three a sa177 a H&K usp and a crosman 357 which one would you recommend. Is there any other co2 pistols you would recommend under 100$ (promised the women) Thankyou
@pyramydair thanks guys but what in your opinion are the best pellets to use with this gun?
What is the name of oil that you need to put on top of the CO2 capsule?
@pyramydair you dont recommend it for what use?
si buen arma
which pellets are recommed for this gun and what kind of cleaning ligud do i use?
can you use
Copperhead .177 Cal, 5.1 Grains, BBs
on this gun?
Hi, I was wondering if you ship to the UK (im in england) thanks.
i also have a question. I live in Boston.Ma and i would like to own a Crosman 357. Is it possible for you to ship to my address and do you guys have the 4 inch barrel kit?
cool, now i know thanx for the info.
can this shoot bb's too, or is it just pellets?
what is the fps for this gun please i been hearing different stuff can you respond quickly please as i may get this for christmas
Should I buy this instead of the Walther PPK/S CO2?
hi im interested also in replacing my co2 gun what would you recomende colt defender or crosman c41
After shooting this in comp. I was thoroughly UN impressed with it, down here in Ft. Smith Ark.
does it only holds pellets or even metal bbs
@darkazer451 ja, het is 125 dollar om naar Nederland te verzenden maar met alle dingen die ik er bij koop waarschijnlijk nog steeds goedkoper
I wouldn't suggest using this to kill rodents. The FPS on it is way too low.
Thanks,
Pyramd Air Team
@arckangel2087 you think thats weak for a pistol? high 457 low 380's after being used constantly without a break? wow with pellgun oil mine is super powerful and ive killed birds and squirrels with it
Can they be any kind ... as long as its .177
I own this gun and i have been able to instantly kill birds and squirrels with a properly placed shot
get 2 cans of spam back to back and shoot from 5 feet with one of the destroyers...now try to find the slug lol.. first shot will cut clean through both cans..yea i think you can take down your rats lol
Can I add a laser?
is it legal to ship this to the netherlands? cause i wanna have it!
can it be shot single and double action?
does this shoot bbs or just pellets
Can you find wooden grips for this gun?
hey my name is paul too........
is 357 revolver better than the C31 crosman
How is the trigger pull with this gun?
Hi, I know some people have asked if it has enough power to kill a rabbit but what about small vermin, rats for example???
Hmm, a Crosman ball cap and your reviewing a Crosman gun using Crosman powerlets. I don't see the product placement!
Can i use it in California? I am, as of now, 15 years old.
