I had an old knobby tire in the backyard, I cut a small piece off, cleaned and dropped a bit of oil on it and put it in there. Works great! Good tutorial...

I was trying to repair my dad's. Fathers air gun it's a 357 Smith Wesson and the thing came apart I worked hard but only got a few pieces in 😅 u know where I can get it's fixed?
If you are located in the US and it is a Crosman product you can try Crosman Corp. It might be cheaper to buy a new one. If you are in Canada and you can get it to me i would be willing to try and repair it for you.
@@Xavie_roblox7 Try sending it to Crosman in the USA. If you try sending it to Canada, Customs will confiscate it as there is no way for them to test it to ensure that it meets Canadian FPS standards.
my first shot is fine but then the rest of the "round clip" that the pellets are in become misaligned and won't shoot anymore. I have to manually fidget with the "round clip" to make it work. help.
What type of pellets are you using?? I had problems with gamo match pellets (they are flat headed ). I switched to Crosman Premiers (round nose, not the hollow point ) which seem to work better. If that doesn't work, look for damage to the clip and change if necessary. If thgat does not solve the problem, you may have to open the action (as seen in the video ) and check for damage of the lever that rotates the clip. I would change pellets first before tearing down the pistol. Let me know if this helps. Regards, Pete
Try rubber will last longer. Cut some off an old tire tread area works great it has more density and won't crumble so quickly cut and bit trim it to fit and Bob's your uncle
The external diameter, if I remember correctly, is 3-3.5 mm, for a length of 4-5 mm. Taken from a box where I collect the springs from every piece of equipment I scrap.@@ramirobarajas6383
I repaired the same issue of my crossman vigilante, using silicon gun injection, without even opening up the gun. Its perfectly repaired now. Try it.
Great idea.👍👍 Will try it your way whenever the part I made fails.
Manufacturer should have used a compression spring! I was looking for a missing spring, now I know how to repair! Thank you!
Thanks for watching. keep on shooting.👍👍
I just spent an hour searching exploded diagrams for a spring/part#. This video saved my sanity as well!

Great job! The important part is to keep shooting and have fun.👍👍
Forgot to mention that you should get " good milage" from your fix😂😂🤣🤣
Better than new.I fix mine with a rubber and try to duplicate the old one,it's been holding up for many years now
Works pretty good. I just received the replacement seals for the valve and will be doing another video shortly.
I used spring on mine, works really well too. Nice fix! 😊
Wow, I can't wait to try that fix, I too have that problem on one that is still new in the box but passed it's warranty period.
Thanks for watching & commenting. Go for it and keep shooting👍👍
Interesting idea !
Looks like it is working pretty well
Age takes its toll on synthetic parts. The Co2 cartridge seal has also turned to mush and needs replacing.

I solved the problem by replacing the rubber block with a small coil spring glued with Attack.
Great idea.👍👍
Hi. What size spring? Where did you source this spring?
