My 09 is about to hit 200k miles and i desperately want to upgrade some parts to fight off the urge to buy a new one. This is the first part I bought, good looks on the install video!
Got the same headlights bulbs hi and low beams...they are really good. Very good improvement over stock...its even aims perfectly if fitted perfectly. Thanks again for the help.
Great video on replacing the bulbs. You indicated how to get to the drivers passenger low beams through the fender lining, and the passenger high beam by removing the coolant overflow bottle. How about the drivers high beam? One comment: It is apparent from the video at 7:16 that the new LED is now aimed a good bit higher than the OEM Halogen bulb, which means you are blinding other drivers. Suggest you re-aim the headlights. Also, you can see the ragged top of the LED beam versus the original halogen bulb, as most LED bulbs are not designed to be compatible with the reflector style headlights; the Honda Accord reflector headlights were designed to be used with a halogen bulb (it has to do with where the filament is on the halogen bulb versus the position of the LED bulbs. You can see the sharp top of the OEM halogen bulb on the LH side of your garage wall.
Thanks, great video. I did the installation of auxito LED light bulbs and they're amazingly bright but the output comes out without the "line" making the lights like a huge flash light kind of effect. What am I doing wrong? I had to create a mask out of plastic wrap to limit the output to the lower half, thus blocking the upper light.
Good video, but you could have tried the 3M headlight restorer first. If then you’re still not happy, I would recommend the led upgrade. Reason being, some ppl had issues with LEDs flickering or not working, and also some need to do an adjustment afterwards.
Damn those are awsome! Ill have to get those, or find something simular, I have an 09 accord too. My headlights are in bad shape and I wanted to just get some bulbs so i can save up for new replacment lights later.
Hey brother. Quick question. The focus of the light on the road after you upgraded, did it scatter all over the road or did it stay nice and tight and focused on the center part of the road in your opinion?
My opinion it seemed focused but not like typical bulbsbut I did noticed a better focus with the high beams. It illuminated alot so I didn't really feel the less focus was an issue
I also drive to upstate, one question please - how these perform in cold weather at around -10F? I have about other brand Fahren that I liked, that they are not good below 30F. Thank you
I have had them for almost a year and live in the southern hot humid climate with temps in the triple digits most of the summer and never had an issue or one go out. Seem to hold up great so far and no melting if the headlight assembly.
Hey how is the sealight holding up?i have a 2008 accord and thinking to upgrade but there are just too many leds out there..how is your high beam and low beam compared to stock?
Looking to put L.E.D's in my 2011. Are there any codes on your dash that came up after you switched? And do they work for your daytime running lights? Do your drl's flicker at all now? Thanks
No flickers and everything works fine. Only thing is that th drl light on the dash will come on and off but others then that dash light everything works like normal
@@DLMGarage And the drl light being on on the dash doesn't hurt anything? Is there a way to not have that come on. I was looking at the cougar motors leds and the sealights but there's so many to choose from its hard to tell whats the best.
@@jbreeezy715 does not effect anything, everything works fine. their is a resistor you can buy and add to the kit to stop the light but it runs fine and never felt the need for it.

Awesome, BTW my favorite LED harbor freight light.
Mine too!
Check these out they are very handy

@@DLMGarage Sorry I thought it went through
IDK why it won't go through, Do you have email?
The outside bulbs are the low beams, not the high beams.
Awesome job and awesome look.👍
Thanks!

yea the led upgrade was a most for where I travel. luckily i had no issue with flicker and adjustments.
I recently used the 3M kit on a 2001 Honda Accord. Restored to like new, but you have to follow the directions.

they worked great and would of looked better if I would of clean up the headlights.
@@DLMGarage im actully trying to restore my headlights right now I finished the right headlight last night I got to do the left tonight
What are the bulb code for a low beam led headlights 9005 or h11 I can’t seem to find that out
Look way better if u replace the whole light assembly.. it'll be more defined.

Lowest I used them was in 18 degree and had no issues
the ones that don't work in lower temps are from Fahren, they are good bright but not for our weather in upstate :)
Are they so bright that oncoming cars assume your high-beams are on, so they flash you with theirs?
never had anyone do that but then again I live in a very country area, no traffic in the back roads.
@@DLMGarage Thanks
These bulbs have no cooling fans. How are they coping with the heat?

How has it been holding up?
2 years and never had an issue.
Waisted time, replaced the bulbs not the headlights
What is voltage for those led lights?
Not sure. Don't have the car anymore

Aren't LED lights illegal?
in my state (NC) it is legal, not sure about others. some states have different restrictions.
Check your local regulations on leds
