I feel like half of these mysteries are the developers forgetting things then saying to each other, “shit... bro I forgot to put it back in the game... you think miyamoto will notice?” “Nah bro... don’t tell him.”
I find it interesting how Dragon Bone Mire is located so close to Rito Village, with bones that are so particularly massive. Especially given how in the original introduction of the Rito in Wind Waker, they were shown as only gaining wings upon receiving a scale from the titan sky spirit Valoo, a massive dragon. One of the largest we've physically seen alive in the series. While I doubt those bones actually belong to him, I do think that they're likely an intentional reference.
I still remember the video that introduced me to his channel, the Twilight Princess HD Castle Town carvings speculation. I hope we get more trailers and theories for BotW 2.

"They are nothing like any conventional ghosts we've seen before in the series" If you want to base mysteries on the games being inconsistent we are going to be here all day.
Javier Vásquez I don’t know, I’ve always embraced the inconsistencies. It’s called the “legend“ of Zelda for a reason. It’s almost as if every game is a story that has been passed down and reinterpreted in different eras.
I love imagining the possibilities in these mysteries, but I concluded years ago that many of these are the result of some designer going "we'll put this here" or "we'll make that blue" and that's it. Us: "What could it mean?!" Funnily, I think that only in recent times (due to the fan-base voice via the internet) do Zelda developers make more than a passing effort at meaningful mysteries.
Theory about the ribcages found in hyrule, and why they are always only ribcages and spine: they all belonged to one animal, one titanic, literal world serpent.
Maybe, but I always thought that the convenient placement of the ice floes in the adult era was suspiciously close to exactly where jabujabu used to be. But who would want to eat a fish-sicle?
@@daleyhuard3675 They do, but I find it hard to believe that throughout Hyrule there are dozens of perfectly sized rocks who were just waiting to be carved into skull hideouts by armpit smelling Bokoblins. Though, the pattern in how they look could be just a gameplay function to let the player know exactly what they are. Like how almost every enemy platform in The Wind Waker looked pretty much the same.
@@Lucas-db2jq Are you saying the bokoblins smell like armpits? Or are you saying they spend their time smelling their armpits? Either way, how do you know?
For me it was in ocarina of time, playing some peaceful zelda lullaby opening the grave but then getting attacked and molested by creepy screaming redeads in the crypt.
I had always just assumed the bones were the remains of the leviathans, and they were maybe the ancestors of the three dragons or ancient sea creatures like the one you fought in Twilight Princess.
1: Yeah that is weird. It's even weirder how you can easily glitch into the dungeon inside of him as adult Link, almost as he is still there somehow. Personally I just assumed that Ganondorf killed Jabu-Jabu and froze Zora's Domain through Morpha, maybe not even in that order. I feel he would have done the same to the Deku Tree had he not died already from Gohma's infection. 2: I hate them, they are very creepy. I think they are just ghosts of the soldiers slain during the Twili Invasion, however they are TURNING into Poes due to the immense grief they carry. Maybe that's why they look so jarring and act so stiff and strange. A small part of them is clinging to their memories and sanity from when they were alive and trying to help Link overcome the challenges and avenge them somehow. 3: This is really something that I'm not sure we will ever see an answer. I like to think of the Trident as a countermeasure to the Master Sword, perhaps crafted by demons for their king to help him in his conquests. I also like that the writing on the stone tablet in the Trident's resting room sounds like a salesperson trying to get you to buy their evil weapon. I'll tell you what, I'd LOVE if Ganondorf wielded the Trident in Smash Bros. 4: Oooooohhhh boy, I remember being completely puzzled by this one when I was younger. I searched every nook and cranny and crack for a solution to this and nothing. As far as I am aware it was part of a sidequest that got cut out but the Flagship devs forgot to take out the text that triggers near that wall, and thus it was dutifully translated into English when localized. In my headcanon though? Link's grandpa or even Link himself hides hyrulean porn under that table. And Ezlo wants some dat. 5: Maybe the Hylians and others call these the bones of "dragons" just because the fabled dragons that roam the land (Naydra, Farosh and Dinraal) are the largest creatures they can think of. So they saw this huge bones and were like "Oh those are big like the dragons! They are the bones of dragons!" They don't know any better. Or any bigger. Within the game's lore? That really is a mystery. Now video game ambience and design wise? I believe Aonuma and his team just thought it would look pretty dope to see all these curvy ribcages and skeletons around the explorable map.
1. Funny thing is you can still do that in the 3DS Remake. 2. They were quite disturbing. Yet another reason I personally call TP the darkest Zelda. 4. Same that's what I was thinking.
Lucas maybe the bones were from a Stallord like in Twilight Princess, it's the closest thing to that size and is fossilized so that would mean they are all extinct and their bones are out and about Hyrule.
I like to think that the bones are all part of the same massive creature that covered the entire expanse of Hyrule multiple times over. Something similar to the World Serpent from Norse mythology
These mysteries are so interesting! I loved finding the Graveyard in Twilight Princess. Sometimes I wish Breath of the wild had graveyards spread throughout.... it would kind of make sense wouldn't it? Also, I'm glad the sand seal at 12:10 is having a good time.
3:35 - What are you talking about? Jabu Jabu is still there. Put on your iron boots, zora tunic and look up. You see his frozen corpse above you textured in the ice. The exposed ribcage means JabuJabu died some time before Zora's domain froze over.
In the Minish Cap, Ezlo was talking about the Big Rupee hidden in the garden outside your home. You can dig it up using the Mole Mitts Edit:fixed Spelling
Oh my god I didn't even know about that Twilight Princess area, I'm ashamed. That's the kind of reason why I love this channel, even my favorite games still have secrets I wouldn't be able to discover by myself.
The area isn't required. Like he said in the video, you can go there to get an extra small key, so you can access the room at the top of Hyrule Castle with like a dozen treasure chests. However, there's nothing requiring you to access this room, so you can totally finish the game without going to the graveyard.
I always thought the Minish Cap mystery was just a wink to Link hiding R18 stuff. That’s why the “I won’t tell anyone” part. Kinda like Rita’s drawer in Tales of Vesperia if you ever played that game. Could be just me not poking around enough though.
I've got to say that Zeltiks british accent really adds to his videos. When just listening to the content it really feels like some ancient knowledge is being read to me, if that makes any sense. Love it.
That bit with Ezlo, I'm pretty sure, is just a joke about Link having hidden stuff in his room, as is common in tropey Japanese media, with teenaged boys' rooms.
In regard to the secret in Link’s room, I’ve noticed a theme in some video games. Something very similar happens in Toadstool’s room near a chair in SMRPG and in Rita’s dresser in her room in Tales of Vesperia. You discover something that the character is very secretive or embarrassed about, and are quickly yelled at by the character and told to stay out of their stuff. If I had to guess, I think this may be very subtle adult humor. Since this is the third game I’ve seen this in, I have a feeling this may be a common kind of joke in Japan. Can’t say for sure, but that’s my theory.
The mystery thing in Link's room could be Majora's Mask, which can be found in the corner of Link's house in A Link Between Worlds. The skeletons look about the right size for King Dodongos - a type of dragon that doesn't fly.
I think I finally have a theory for what Ezlo was talking about in Minish Cap. The way he says, "Show me!" I think implies... Link himself hid something there. Perhaps in a corner or under the table... what I think is supposed to be implied is that Ezlo is asking Link where he hides his "literature." Unless it was literal cut content, it's the only thing I can think of that would make sense for that line without something literally being there.
BOTW2 idea: While plunging into vast, underground caverns beneath Hyrule, you stumble upon an ancient, hibernating Leviathan... *Boss Health bar fills*
@@nonoctoro4933 There are some around the minecart tracks in Death Mountain that don't seem like they are purposefully placed there. Also on the island with the decayed forest full of Wizzrobes near the castle, and other places... I would say that the skulls are real (and came from the same creatures as the ribs), and could be moved/rolled with some teamwork. If I were to wager what kind of creatures these were I would say they are probably unlike anything we've seen in Zelda, perhaps like the Giant Warrior from "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind."
I actually think I heard or read somewhere that that "secret" spot in Link's room in Minish Cap was to have something to do with the E-Card Reader, or whatever it was called, that launched late in the GBA's lifespan, iirc. No idea how well it did in Japan, but here in the US, it didn't really take off as well as they had hoped. Idk if it still has functionality in the Japanese version or not, or if this was even the case; that's the theory, however. Like you said, it may just be leftover data... or it could be another case like the Ice Key in Banjo-Kazooie, where a planned feature doesn't pan out the way they would have liked, and thus we get a piece of dead-end content like this one. I do wonder if someone could datamine the game and find out someday, tho. I'm immensely curious, and have been since I was young and first discovered that most annoying of secrets... A more thorough look can provide a lot of interesting details.
No, it’s a dirty joke. It’s a common gag in japanese entertainment media for teens to hide dirty mags in their room, and usually there’ll be a pushy, funny character trying to call the main character out. ’I won’t tell anyone so show me’ Haha
@@scrung I don't think that that's what it was supposed to be, given that Link in this game isn't a teenager, and that iirc, there reportedly WAS supposed to be Ereader functionality for this game. Tho that could be apocryphal information.
Here’s my theory on the haunting ghosts in the graveyard: Remember the failed link who looks like a zombie who teaches link sword skills and stuff? Him and the ghosts look similar. Maybe they could be failed ghosts of knights who are still alive. Hope you look into this.
Okay so two suggestions here: How do fish survive winter!? Jabu Jabu is still a fish, you know? So these dragon bones are all that remains of the dragon species? What about the three specimen still roaming Hyrule?
Technically, Jabu-Jabu is whale, which is a type of aquatic mammal - more akin to dolphin than to fish. Because of this, they are warm-blooded, meaning that they are reasonably unaffected by changing seasons. It's likely either he died from injuries sustained from Barinade or was killed by Ganondorf directly to attempt to bully the Zora into submission although it could just be a lack of space that so he left to larger waters.
I'm pretty sure this is correct. It probably helps that Capcom made this and not Nintendo. I feel like it's not something Nintendo would put in, but other companies certainly might (a similar example can be found in Peach's castle in Super Mario RPG)
The minish cap mystery might be a reference to the mirror side quest in zelda 2. The mirror is under a table, and link actually has dialogue in the game. Just a thought to throw out there. Love the video
Jabu Jabu is actually still there, kinda. He's just invisible ;P You can get into Jabu Jabu's belly as adult Link if you know where his loading zone is.
@@nonoctoro4933 Jabun could STILL be his descendant regardless of having a different dessign given that Valoo was said to be Volvagia's/Vara's descendant from Ocarina of Time yet looks nothing like him. In the end you can always explain the different appereance as either "evolution" like the Zora and Rito in TWW or just "because magic".
Jabu Jabu died, it's all but directly stated. Ruto says he's been looking "green around the gills" and when you enter his body you kill multiple parasites that had taken root in his body. The implication is that Ganondorf cursed Jabu Jabu like he cursed the Great Deku Tree. Conveniently also with a parasite, Gohma. He survives and later passes. The Wind Waker shows that Jabu Jabu either had offspring or reincarnated as you see another giant fish named Jabun that speaks the hylian tongue, a remnant of OoT Hyrule.
Do you have the slightest idea on how little sense that makes? For starters, their body structures don't match the bones. Another thing, Hyrule and Termina are in two separate worlds. There's no possible way for the giants to be found in Hyrule.
I honestly think that it's the dragons from the other timeline, since they're in the original two games in the series. maybe in breath of the wilds timeline they were extinct love before the games take place.
To the final mystery about the gigantic bones littered throughout Hyrule, There are some other bones that are proportionately the same size as the gigantic rib cages/spines. The giant skulls that Moblins like to use as their homes. There's hundreds of them all over Hyrule but they never seem to be in the same place as the rib cages. Some are even piled up together. It's almost like whatever killed these giants decapitated them and moved the heads far away from the bodies for some reason, even collecting them sometimes.
Here is a CRAZY theory, what if all of the races in botw are some sort of minish and all the giant skeletons are the regular races from before botw and other games
Hey Zeltik, I recently replayed Twilight Princess and while doing the Twilight Realm dungeon I noticed a lot of similarities between the Twili “technology” and Sheika tech in BoTW. Think there are any connections there?
The fused shadow form looks like a guardian. Midna has red eyes like a sheikah and the helmet she wears - a piece of the fused shadow - has an eye, technically giving her a "third eye". Her magic is potent yet zant' s death is almost...barbaric. I don't blame her for fearing it; and ganondorf calls the fused shadows old magic. The people of the wind are the oldest group in the zelda lore; they are the group that were sent skyward during hylia's reign and the floating rock became Skyloft. As most should understand, history will inevitably be lost, locations will be renamed if an official one cannot be found, reasons for leaving will be forgotten or not told to a young boy because such things are not important to his current mission
I finally got a Switch and BotW, and aside from just being able to play the game and explore it for myself, I'm so excited to actually be able to watch your BotW content! I've avoided most of it in an attempt to not be spoiled, but I LOVE your videos and I'm so excited for so many more of them to be opened up to me.
Ezlo's comment might be referring to the red rupee buried outside, near the lower left corner of Link's house, which respawns endlessly, making it easy to farm a lot of rupees. Maybe the implied canonical explanation is that this is Link's secret rupee stash.
there's a mini-boss in Links Awakening on switch, IIRC that once you knock of its helmet, it's face looks exactly like those unknown ghosts in Twilight Princess
Thoughts on Jabu Jabu. In the downfall timeline we know some of the Zora took Jabu Jabu and moved out to sea, where they remained the friendly fish like Zora we see in OoT, and can be met in the Oracle games. Meanwhile the remaining Zora became the more frog like river Zora who'm also seemed to have had a major falling out with the Hylians, and spit at any passer's by. Now considering this is the route things were probably on their way to before adult Link arrived and put things right creating the adult timeline, we can probably assume the Zora who escaped freezing also took Jabu Jabu and fled. Those who remained would of course be thawed out, but likely switched deities to Valoo, and eventually became the Rito under his influence over the next thousand years or so.
Isn’t Jabu jabu incased in ice underwater somewhere I have this memory of finding him, maybe I’m wrong or it might’ve been a dream but I feel like I found him somewhere.
My theory of the demise of the dragons: Long after skyloft was raised new creatures inhabited Hyrule, these creatures were called “dragons”. They inhabited the land getting any food they could find. However, they lived underground so as these colossal beast’s population grew, so did the food ammount decrease. So as they slowly died, their memory slowly forgotten, they had gone extinct. As the shifts in the earth’s plates shifted more of their skeletons began to appear slowly over time, but not their full ones, only the ribs and spines as the bones had both eroded and they were still trapped underground which could also explain the bottomless bog it was the only head to ever rise Please don’t hate me for this just a thought
For Minish Cap, if you dig outside the house at the bottom left corner, you get a red rupee every time you reload the game or even go back in the house and come out, if I recall correctly. I know there is no way to connect it to what Ezlo says, but I always thought that was what he referred to.
For Number 4, I'm just gonna chalk it up to a cheeky Easter egg. I mean, it's something hidden, under a table, sitting with the WALL at your back... … ...actually, let's abandon this train of thought. Isn't Link meant to be, like 11 or so in Minish Cap? EUGH!!!
The skeletons have skulls throughout BotW. They look like humanoid/Hylain or possibly Boko Skulls? That's what made me think of a mini theory- Were the Monsters of Hyrule normal animals, that were corrupted or turned evil by Ganon? or something else? Then the massive leviatans, and other skeletons are ancient boko ancestors, lizal ancestors, etc.
"I sense something unusual here" "I won't tell anyone, so come on! Show me!" Hmm. I think the best explanation is that Link is keeping a diary and Ezlo wants to take a look
Ezlo states that there's something unusual in Link's room, I think there's something or someone hiding either under the table or in the walls. Rupees? Blacksmithing tools? Weapons? _Link's grandma's bones?_ Maybe something haunts the house.
10:40 my guess is that, that's supposed to be a joke about young guys hiding their dirty magazines under things. Alot of anime does that joke so that's why that's my guess
Awesome video and love your content. The ghosts at 6:30 are definitely Hyrule soldiers. They look strikingly similar to the ghost of hero of time in the same game- deformed and demonic looking skeletons
These videos are some of the most interesting about Zelda, what amazing game developers to think of the past present and future in the last four or five games. They've been planning all of this and a lot of it fell right perfectly into place
If we go by the idea of "Twilight Princess is set (several?) hundred years after Ocarina of Time", I'd say those are the soldiers slain by Ganondorf back then during his conquest of Hyrule when Link was sealed into the sacred realm for 7 years, and now that Ganondorf has returned, they sense his evil, but they also recognize Link as the Hero and want to help him so that he can get rid of Ganon for real and avenge them. Which could also explain why they are so eerie and stiff, barely clinging to the last shreds of their memories of their lives (and especially their deaths) as humans.

I love imagining the possibilities in these mysteries, but I concluded years ago that many of these are the result of some designer going "we'll put this here" or "we'll make that blue" and that's it. Us: "What could it mean?!"
Funnily, I think that only in recent times (due to the fan-base voice via the internet) do Zelda developers make more than a passing effort at meaningful mysteries.
Theory about the ribcages found in hyrule, and why they are always only ribcages and spine: they all belonged to one animal, one titanic, literal world serpent.
North Mythology ?
¿God of War style? Maybe the Zelda franchise takes place in the same universe as GoW lol. 😅
oh god imagine fighting that
Eren's founding titan .
Titanic? More like GARGANTUAN
Here;s my theory for Jabu's disappearance: Ganondorf had a fish fry
Maybe, but I always thought that the convenient placement of the ice floes in the adult era was suspiciously close to exactly where jabujabu used to be. But who would want to eat a fish-sicle?
*wheeeeze*
Yum yum yummy!
I'd like to add that it isnt only ever the ribs or spines, there's the giant skulls and fish heads that the Koboblins and the Lizals live in
The skulls look more like giant carved boulders
@@daleyhuard3675 They do, but I find it hard to believe that throughout Hyrule there are dozens of perfectly sized rocks who were just waiting to be carved into skull hideouts by armpit smelling Bokoblins.
Though, the pattern in how they look could be just a gameplay function to let the player know exactly what they are. Like how almost every enemy platform in The Wind Waker looked pretty much the same.
@@Lucas-db2jq But they're clearly stone, and a totally different texture from the all of the bones in the game.
I think in Creating a Champion it's mentioned that all the skulls are carved stones
@@Lucas-db2jq Are you saying the bokoblins smell like armpits? Or are you saying they spend their time smelling their armpits? Either way, how do you know?
When I was little I was actually afraid of doing the alien mission in Majora’s Mask lol
Same, I hated it so much!
I was playing it in 10% speed in an emulator meaning that I was 10 times faster than actual but still that moment gave me an heartattack
I would have been too
For me it was in ocarina of time, playing some peaceful zelda lullaby opening the grave but then getting attacked and molested by creepy screaming redeads in the crypt.
@@roderixdekaper as an adult I was afraid of the Aliens.
I thought the same thing for 5
Lucas maybe the bones were from a Stallord like in Twilight Princess, it's the closest thing to that size and is fossilized so that would mean they are all extinct and their bones are out and about Hyrule.
I like to think that the bones are all part of the same massive creature that covered the entire expanse of Hyrule multiple times over. Something similar to the World Serpent from Norse mythology
@@dbcks5790 that's a pretty cool theory that I agree with
These mysteries are so interesting! I loved finding the Graveyard in Twilight Princess. Sometimes I wish Breath of the wild had graveyards spread throughout.... it would kind of make sense wouldn't it?
Also, I'm glad the sand seal at 12:10 is having a good time.
The large bones in Breath of the Wild could be mere fragments of a single, truly colossal Volvagia-like dragon. Just a random guess.
or an ouroboros, which would explain just ribs and spine but nothing else.
I personally think that these "dragon bones" are also Leviathans, or maybe a cousin of the species.
there have different skulls, form some with horns to more moblin-like
I would say some related to leviasa and some to the giant dodongo
Maybe moldugas? That would explain why we only see the spines and ribs?
3:35 - What are you talking about? Jabu Jabu is still there. Put on your iron boots, zora tunic and look up. You see his frozen corpse above you textured in the ice. The exposed ribcage means JabuJabu died some time before Zora's domain froze over.
In the Minish Cap, Ezlo was talking about the Big Rupee hidden in the garden outside your home. You can dig it up using the Mole Mitts
Edit:fixed Spelling
Its just 20 rupees that you can get over and over (infinite rupees trick)
12:23 "Hinoxen" I don't think I've ever heard the plural of Hinox. I don't think I'd ever even thought about it.

Oh my god I didn't even know about that Twilight Princess area, I'm ashamed.
That's the kind of reason why I love this channel, even my favorite games still have secrets I wouldn't be able to discover by myself.
That area in twilight princess is required to finish the game.
@@ominousvirus5278 I've finished TP thrice and I had never seen those ghosts before watching this video
I’m pretty sure there’s a small key in the graveyard, but maybe I’m wrong.
The area isn't required. Like he said in the video, you can go there to get an extra small key, so you can access the room at the top of Hyrule Castle with like a dozen treasure chests. However, there's nothing requiring you to access this room, so you can totally finish the game without going to the graveyard.
Ok, I see how I misunderstood. Thanks for clarifying it.
10:23 personally, I think Ezlo is hinting at the infinitely respawning red rupee outside Link's house.
I always thought the Minish Cap mystery was just a wink to Link hiding R18 stuff. That’s why the “I won’t tell anyone” part. Kinda like Rita’s drawer in Tales of Vesperia if you ever played that game. Could be just me not poking around enough though.
What is Link hiding?
Jabu Jabu.
Cdi games
Lol
Nah dude hes hiding links secret milk stash
uhhhh his *sock*
I've got to say that Zeltiks british accent really adds to his videos.
When just listening to the content it really feels like some ancient knowledge is being read to me, if that makes any sense.
Love it.
I'm about to go to bed, but when I check my phone I see a new Zeltik video, "Eh, sleep can wait."
That bit with Ezlo, I'm pretty sure, is just a joke about Link having hidden stuff in his room, as is common in tropey Japanese media, with teenaged boys' rooms.
Dig the area outside the house. There's infinite rupees out there.
Also reminds me of in SMRPG where you can examine the chair in Toadstool's room.
We all know what Link was hiding in the corner.
owo
I was hoping I wasnt the only one to realize haha ;)

edit: ^ joke.
Jokes a joke
A mirror. He's hiding a mirror. It's under the table.
Just imagine all of the lore Nintendo is holding onto.
I honestly don't think that there's a lot.
I love these unexplained mysteries series, please keep it up with a part 4!
I never knew about the castle graveyard in Twilight Princess and I can't tell you how many times I've played that game. I can't believe I missed it!
BOTW2 idea: While plunging into vast, underground caverns beneath Hyrule, you stumble upon an ancient, hibernating Leviathan... *Boss Health bar fills*
There are plenty of large skulls to go with the ribcages, but they strangely are not often found together.
They are not real skulls tho ...
On the dragon bones- there’s a prescience for dragons set in the original LoZ. There are quite a few (3, I think?) that act as mid-bosses.

I always thought the table one might have been an obscure reference to Zelda II and how you find a mirror under a table.
Nice catch !
This is literally my favorite video format, together with theories!
Keep up the great work!
Wow I never knew about the TP graveyard, let alone the creepy as hell ghosts hanging out there. Good video!
Here’s my theory on the haunting ghosts in the graveyard: Remember the failed link who looks like a zombie who teaches link sword skills and stuff? Him and the ghosts look similar. Maybe they could be failed ghosts of knights who are still alive. Hope you look into this.
Or maybe the knights of the heros shade the golden ghost. Link from Ocarina of Time was the heroes shade

Okay so two suggestions here:
How do fish survive winter!? Jabu Jabu is still a fish, you know?
So these dragon bones are all that remains of the dragon species? What about the three specimen still roaming Hyrule?
Those dragons are just deities of the three springs I think.
They're also not the same species as whatever the remains are.
I think they are reincarnations of Din, Nayru, and Farore.
Why are the spirits in the graveyard missing their two front teeth? (Cries)
All I can say is I guess we know what all they want for Christmas is
But have they been good spirits or are they on the naughty list?
wow I hadn't realised they were missing their teeth, that makes it even more unsettling...
Ganondorf punched every single one of them in the face, that's how they all died.
10:43 i think its a crack at some secret items that link has in his room, merely a joke
I think in the minish cap, it's a reverence for hiding a porn book
Zelda's underwear he stole 😳😳
I'm pretty sure this is correct. It probably helps that Capcom made this and not Nintendo. I feel like it's not something Nintendo would put in, but other companies certainly might (a similar example can be found in Peach's castle in Super Mario RPG)
It's a Zelda 2 reference. You find a hidden mirror in that game under a table.
Yup. XD
@@strifera theres also a mirror in the dark basement of links treehouse in twilight princess. Seems to be a recurring thing.
The minish cap mystery might be a reference to the mirror side quest in zelda 2. The mirror is under a table, and link actually has dialogue in the game. Just a thought to throw out there. Love the video
The indentation of the trident is kinda shaped like the swords that Ganon used in OoT
Jabu Jabu is actually still there, kinda. He's just invisible ;P You can get into Jabu Jabu's belly as adult Link if you know where his loading zone is.
Jabu Jabu is seen again in two different timelines, meaning he's alive and well.
Only in Oracle of Ages.
We don't see him in TWW, only his successor Jabun of a different species.
Good. But what happened to him in Ocarina?
@@stoodmuffinpersonal3144 ☠
@@nonoctoro4933 Noooooo

Lord jabu jabu was one of my favorite characters😂
Ezlo saying "I sense something unusual here" while there is nothing unusual anywhere is indeed an unusual thing to say. So I guess he's not lying
Here is a CRAZY theory, what if all of the races in botw are some sort of minish and all the giant skeletons are the regular races from before botw and other games
I never realized until now just how close that resting Goron was to being obliterated by the Dodongo Entrance explosion. 😂
Hey Zeltik, I recently replayed Twilight Princess and while doing the Twilight Realm dungeon I noticed a lot of similarities between the Twili “technology” and Sheika tech in BoTW. Think there are any connections there?
The Twili "technology" draws its power from the Sols' green light.
The only blue energy found here is at the Throne room.
Oooo!
I would love for a few of these “dragons” to be mini bosses like the Hinox and Linel in BotW2
Especially if the plot involves going back into the distant past.
Congratulations on 300k subscribers! Fully deserved
I never discovered that with Ezelo. This is truly intreguing. I have never gone to that corner in all of my time playing The Minish Cap.
Isn’t Jabu jabu incased in ice underwater somewhere I have this memory of finding him, maybe I’m wrong or it might’ve been a dream but I feel like I found him somewhere.
My theory of the demise of the dragons:
Long after skyloft was raised new creatures inhabited Hyrule, these creatures were called “dragons”. They inhabited the land getting any food they could find. However, they lived underground so as these colossal beast’s population grew, so did the food ammount decrease. So as they slowly died, their memory slowly forgotten, they had gone extinct. As the shifts in the earth’s plates shifted more of their skeletons began to appear slowly over time, but not their full ones, only the ribs and spines as the bones had both eroded and they were still trapped underground which could also explain the bottomless bog it was the only head to ever rise
Please don’t hate me for this just a thought
That corner is just where Link hides his weed

For Minish Cap, if you dig outside the house at the bottom left corner, you get a red rupee every time you reload the game or even go back in the house and come out, if I recall correctly. I know there is no way to connect it to what Ezlo says, but I always thought that was what he referred to.
For Number 4, I'm just gonna chalk it up to a cheeky Easter egg. I mean, it's something hidden, under a table, sitting with the WALL at your back...
…
...actually, let's abandon this train of thought. Isn't Link meant to be, like 11 or so in Minish Cap? EUGH!!!
There are sexy Magazines in Hyrule ? 🤔

The minish cap one is a hint of the red rupee buried outside of link’s house.
"I sense something unusual here" "I won't tell anyone, so come on! Show me!" Hmm. I think the best explanation is that Link is keeping a diary and Ezlo wants to take a look
If we don’t get a BotW 2 trailer at the Game Awards I’m going to riot

These videos are some of the most interesting about Zelda, what amazing game developers to think of the past present and future in the last four or five games. They've been planning all of this and a lot of it fell right perfectly into place
You say dragons like they're some foreign concept that you have never heard of
If we go by the idea of "Twilight Princess is set (several?) hundred years after Ocarina of Time", I'd say those are the soldiers slain by Ganondorf back then during his conquest of Hyrule when Link was sealed into the sacred realm for 7 years, and now that Ganondorf has returned, they sense his evil, but they also recognize Link as the Hero and want to help him so that he can get rid of Ganon for real and avenge them.
Which could also explain why they are so eerie and stiff, barely clinging to the last shreds of their memories of their lives (and especially their deaths) as humans.
