I get this much snow every year, my roof I spray with wax, comes right off
Give the laziest man the hardest job and he'll find the easiest way of doing it, good job Casey, I love it!
Work smarter not harder!
I was just about to leave a comment work hard not smart and then you guys put the tow rope around the snow and pulled over half off. Now that was smart!
Man I'll never get over how quick that little cat moves!
She is a dandy. It will out run the suspension!
My goodness! How fast does she go on her top speed? I really think this is the fastest cat I can think off I've ever seen.. wow! 😲👌
I don't know 25 or so!
I love seeing old vehicles putting in work. These will still be going even after the idiots force electric cars down our throat. I wonder if this runs a Chevy v6 like the yellow one.
This might be too "Rambo", but I don't live up there so idk....
Would it be a dumb idea to use a flame thrower up on the roof?
Finally nice to see somebody that knows how to remove snow
HEY! Good morning Casey and Becky! NICE video! That was a good way to help remove the crusty snow from the porch roof! I am surprised that the porch roof did not have more supports to help hold up the heavy snow loads. In my area I have seen Cabins so buried in the snow that people have driven up and over on a snowmobile. Thanks for taking us along and of course thumbs UP!! 👍
Yeah that was a huge span. I'll assume it was a laminated beam as nothing else would have held up to that load, I'm surprised even that did even tho it appeared to be a double lami-beam.
Going to have a lot of water when the snow starts melting. Pray the cabin doesn't get flooded!!
That Super Imp moves along fast
Need a tractor scrapper blade to drag the snow away from the cabin. I haven't seen that much snow on Kolob since 1993, 1983 and 78. Thanks for the look.
The owners of those cabins are very lucky that you’re around and know what to do to save their cabins. Great work!
This cabin was not saved.
Casey, should put up a picture of what the cabin looks like without the snow. Just beautiful up there.
I will never complain again about the snow we get here in Peterborough Ontario Canada.
You just reminded me of the day I parked my car next to a building in the winter with snow on the roof of the building, I thought it was a good idea to park next to the extracter vent for the boiler house so my car would be warm. Came out to find the snow had fallen and hit the roof, now that is working smarter not harder ,be careful of snow stay safe
I've never seen snow that deep on video!! Just a few pics at the ski lodges wow that's just crazy how do the animals live !!
Well insulated cabin
Should't take much to heat it!
Loving the cheese cutter method of snow removal.
Me too!
What a great year for playing in the snow. Looks like another 10 days of rolling storms ahead of us too.
I used to love the snowy winter season until my disabilities kicked in. It's no fun having chronic arthritis! Pain pain and more pain
Got back from a hot, windy & dusty Moab yesterday just to have drove into a snow storm putting down eight inches by this morning!
Man thats a lot of snow. Ive never seen anything like that in real life. That's wild
It is pretty wild!
Reminds me of Dick Halloran driving the snowcat back to the Overlook Hotel haha..
In the UP of MIchigan they have very steep pitched roofs to help with this issue.
WOW ! That's a lot of snow. Lucky for me I never seen in person snow like that.
Speechless, being from Australia, snow is what i see on videos like this. That was epic for many reasons. Fantastic!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
snow/ice to cool your dew, make sure you avoid the yellow and other color snow. 🤪
Great vid, can't believe you two got that all shoveled off in a couple of hours, looking at the cars abandoned in the drifts they don't live there.
Absolutely beautiful !!
How cool is it when your job is an adventure?! It sure beats a 9 to 5 sitting in a cubical all day!
Looked like a great day out, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
😳🤯 man, I'm speechless!! I'm from Texas, so can't even imagine
We should of learned from the natives and mountain men .
Love those snow carts use to ride one for several years as a kid in Michigan .
So easy .so fun to get a ride .
Beautifully place .
Too big of a house oh a cabin .
Thanks for all your hard work .
You got that right!
@@CaseysOffRoadRecovery thanks
One good thing about all the snow hopefully it'll fill up the lake this year.
Casey that was more like fun then work because playing in snow is always fun. You guys combine work hard and play hard perfectly.
This video just reminded m3 I needed a snow shovel!
It is a challenge to own real estate as an absentee owner....That strap trick is excellent!!
Beautiful scenery. You could almost use a skid steer up there to attach a snow blower to to move snow away from the cabin. At least it would help keeping it from disappearing!
Casey your videos are just plain fun to watch. I sure appreciate how hard it is for Becky and you to work, film and then edit videos and then bring the finished product to us. All in pretty Southern Utah, thank you sir!
You are so welcome!
Wow what a job. Thanks for caring.
Thanks for the extra effort in the video.
No worries!
Ingenious way to remove snow! 👍👍👍
Great video. Would love to see some photos of the cabin and surrounding area in the summer with no snow. Thanks for posting and sharing.
OMG!!!! AWESOME!
Wow! That looked like a lot of work too! Clear the snow and have to tunnel in to the cabin! Great video C & B
Dang Casey, ya'll are going to have a great lake season this year due to all of that crazy snow melt that's probably just starting to happen now. Anyhow, great video and love the content as always.
Yes it has been very busy.
Good reason to have a heat matted roof, They do that in Maine with roofs and drive ways, works good. All you do is plow or shovel at roofs drop edge, then turn on roof and in hours it slides off in a pile.
Great job as usual, and so glad you enjoy your work!
Your helping brothers and sisters, knowing Gods energy beats their heart , and ours, is Gods Will. You will find each one you encounter asked for help in some way, allowing the Ascended Host to act in this octave. We all can thank God whoever we are, knowing angels await our call or cannot help, because we have free not to call, pray, ask or squeak, which they honor. Try it and see
Nice setup. Seems well thought out and planned. Very professional terminations.
Well done.
Thank you very much!
The end music sounds like something you'd play in an jam with friends.
That’s a whole bunch of snow😳
A really fascinating thing to watch those special machines - thank you ! I'm in the top of NJ - up a hill in a 1 acre lot - the most snow I've seen here was one day about 15 years ago when I opened my front door & the snow was up to my armpits - about 4ft 6" - I just made a path down to my car at the bottom of the drive, dug around it, and when my boys came to 'rescue me' found nobody home, because I had gone to work as soon as the plough came by to clear my road ! The best part was, they dug out the rest of the drive for me, so I came home to all the worst snow gone, and hot coffee waiting ! If that happens again it will not be me digging - too old at 83 & son now has a snowblower ! It can be fun if you have time to enjoy the way it hangs in the trees so beautifully - magic !
Nice Camso UTV 4S1 built near my home at Shawinigan, Québec ...., same as mine on my Polaris Ranger 500 !!
Very cool!
Good work. God bless u and your family thanks for sharing😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
WOW
Way more snow than I ever need
We have had very little this year in east central Illinois only about 6 inches so far and it mid March I’m ready for the daffodils to bloom
Beautiful scenery and nice camera action as usual. Thanks for sharing.👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
@@CaseysOffRoadRecovery Yes indeed.
Just a gorgeous day!! What I wouldn't give to be able to live up there! Thanks for takin' us along.
Glad you enjoyed it
holly cow that's a lot of snow.
Great video Casey! I love that Snow Cat. Definitely a great piece of equipment for this job.
Agreed!
ruclips.net/p/PLLtrBvXDxTeI-JhHjD1QPBcQCXXJ3VeeE
Roping the snow is genius! I can see that being a new snow removal tool for lots of people. With some modification that idea could make snow removal so much more efficient.
Certainly lots of snow!!
Great video. Really interesting and educational for someone like me who doesn't get snow.
Glad it was helpful!
You all are great to go out there and help those in need of assistance and checking on folks. That is an amazing amount of snow, I have never personally seen that much never mind a whole house covered in it.
What folks got checked on?
@ben franklin besides the roof they cleared he mentioned that there others they had to check on, that is what I was referring to
I have a roof rake too but we hardly got any snow this year so I didn't use it. Take a while but it works. Cool trick with the strap. I will have to remember that one. Cheers.
Those of us working just so we can go on vacation are doing it all wrong ;)
Pulling that snow off of the roof like that was fantastic. I got a little excited watching it! Good job!
Thanks 👍
Work smarter not harder great job Casey.
Boy that scenery would make you not want to go back to town !
I have been known to go poof a day or two.
Good Video Casey Love Watching People Having Fun In The Snow Good Scenery Hopefully You Take Another Trip Up There Without The Snow I Love The Variety Of Content On Your Channel
For sure!
nothing beats a natural mt dew slushy
Just when you think you've seen it all. That was a slick idea with the strap. Hello from Columbus Wisconsin and thanks for all the great videos.
Thanks for watching!
It was awesome to see you at the off-road record games with the mat in the whole crew
Must have been my twin brother. I was on the Mountain.
its amazing,NEW MEXICO hardly got any snow this winter !!from I 40 north.!!
What an awesome snowmobile jump!
I so want to
That’s crazy 😳👍
Looked like fun, that cabin is going to float down stream come spring. Glad the mountains finally had a good year of snow.. BTW you are not supposed to eat yellow snow, 😁🤣😂
That was a lot of work. Actually all you needed to do was support the front beam with the post and you'd been fine. Next spring put in a couple perminate posts and no more worries; except for the flooding.
Hopefully by spring the micro lams will be straight again......
I haven’t seen that much snow since I moved from New Hampshire. Good video ❤️🙏🙏👍👍❤️
Oh wow!
Time to surf in the snow! I saw someone on another channel, Lake Tahoe life or something and a guy was surfing using a kite looking thing and a snow board. ❤❤❤❤❤
We pull wakeboards behind the Jeeps on the Sand Dunes.
how's it going Casey, nice vid, seriously deep ass snow!! Have a good one man
Man is beautiful up there
Wow
Pointy roofs are pointy for a reason 🤣
Great work there Casey 👍🏻
Greetings from Romania ❤️🇷🇴
Greetings
Heck of a snow year out West. Powell and Mead need it.
I only saw snow like that when I was a kid in Northeastern Wyoming when we lived by the little Bighorn mountains. I hate snow to this day.
Holy cow!
That's a good 8 feet or so of snow!
You could have darn near drove right over that cabin! 🤠
You got that right!
U guys are awesome that’s a lot of work please take car of your health…stay safe
Thank you! Will do!
Another great show from your great outdoor office. This sure beats sitting in front of a computer and zooming a meeting.
Mountain Dew over fresh snow what could be better?
Beautiful country around Hurykhan ... why go all the way up to North Utah to go Snow Funning when it's around the bend from Hurykhan.... Casey's Off Road Recovery keeping it Awesome as always !
Nice job getting the snow off the cabin porch!! Yup, that was way too much span between posts. I'm really surprised it didn't break the support beam!! (unless there was a steel beam under the wood) What a beautiful play ground you have for an "office"!!!
It was engineered! 3 12 inch Glue lams, Looks like it also needs a post!
@@CaseysOffRoadRecovery Yeah, that was what I was saying. Perhaps they didn't engineer it for 10' of heavy snow😆LOL!!
yesterday walmart had snow shovels on clearance in augusta georgia 😁
I need a new one. I wore this one out!
Nice hat.
Really good idea wrapping tow straps around the pile.
I always wondered if you could attach a vibratory unit onto a roof like we do with my salt spreader- Attach it near the bottom to some plates, & vibrate it a few times to knock it loose here & there
Thanks. It is really hard to say. Snow conditions are different and depends on the layers of ice and what is on the roof. Our goal was to clear the majority and stick a post in it. Just in case we had more storms and the snow was to start drifting again.
I grew up in So.Ogden And Huntsville
I kept waiting for you to drive over. 🤣
I wanted to
When all that snow melts where do you think the water going to go?
That alot of snow.
Down the Mighty Virgin River!
I would like to see thus cabin in the summer, for reference on how deep it was.
omg
Seen the rope cheese cutter method used many times
the angle is everything sometimes all the snow is removed in one try
snowblower on the roof beats shoveling - next problem is melting snow that might flood the cabin
OMG, Casey is that typically the amount of snow fall or was this more than usual amounts? Thanks for sharing you two and stay safe.👍
It's been a good year. Above average.
I’ve watched so many of these and this was the smartest I’ve seen. But I guess the guys getting paid to do don’t want to make it a quick job. Great job guys
