I am a Mazda Fan and love my MAZDA CX 90 PHEV I usually drive it in either All Electric or Sports Mode . This vehicle flys on Sports Mode I leased mine so I’m 3 years Ill get whatever improvements Mazda Gives
Thank you. I am a new CX90 PHEV owner and everything he mentioned in this video is spot on…. Until I got software updates in July 2024 and it fixed all the jerky transmission issues. The hybrid and EV mode has improved 100%. The steering and the ride is still very firm and the car feels heavy but you get used to it.
I've driven 10,000 miles and with software update most of the problems you've highlighted have been resolved. You said it was a 2023, it's a 2024. You can't get the whole picture in a week. To me, a Telluride and Grand Highlander have a mushy ride and handling. To each his own. I'm loving the choice I made.
I just traded my telluride in for a Mazda. Telluride had so many recalls and reliability issues. I recommend all tellruide owners check their oil periodically. They are know for piston leak and refuse to fix them under warranty.
annoying car, the dealer tells me after I buy, these cars have lots of problems. I am working on my 9 recall in 9 months. so many problems with this lemon model. good luck, hope there is a class action lawsuit against mazda with this model. we dont drive it, its unsafe

That’s great to hear they have remedied those issues!

I've heard Mazda is doing a software update for the transmission/engine issues. I believe the 2025 CX-80 should run much smoother.
That's great to hear. Fingers crossed!
You're getting 27 mpg while in hybrid mode or gas only?

I agree. It is annoying.
I wish my car's irritating seat-belt warning was irritating enough to persuade my wife to wear hers.
Ha!
9 recalls in 9 months, worst car ever. we dont drive it, unsafe, had it in the shop several times already.
