    Good one bro.. Im on my second CX5 2.5 S … fantastic vehicles.. feels premium , drives great and very reliable.. I hope these CX90’s are as good if not better .. became a fan of mazda’s.. will buy this next model year when its time to upgrade..

      Thank you my friend! Yea CX-5 is really great and completely ironed out no real issues with it. These base model CX-90s drive pretty good but not completely perfect I think Mazda will improve it over the years. I'm curious to try a CX-70 to see if that feels more buttoned up being that it is a 2025.

    Great down to earth common sense review, all the information one needs in a neatly delivered package. Thanks for another great edition ! My hearth was leaning towards this vehicle, unfortunately and as you clearly state the fun factor is not in the offering. I was hoping I could pick your brain on what new or used Japanese 2 or 3 row SUV I should consider that would be more fun in more spirited driving. Cheers !

      Thank you so much my friend for your kind words. Honestly there aren't many "fun" SUVs but you could look into an Acura MDX A-Spec or Type S really that's the more beefed up "fun" MDX but costs $75k.

    I live in Florida and got the CX-90 Select. I don’t need heated seats in Florida. I also prefer not to have a sun roof because I keep the shade closed anyway to keep out the heat.

      @@MeynMotorGroup thanks. I was cross shopping the CRV EX-L which actually costs around the same. I paid $750 under MSRP and got 1.9% promotional APR. I got it white and think it much more upscale compared to the CRV. I was concerned about the size without parking sensors or a 360 camera but it’s really been fine.

      Yes, I live in FL as well. I always had sunroof before in my cars when i Lived abroad and loved it. I got the 2023 CX-5 with sunroof thinking it would be nice to use it. One year with the car already and opened the shade maybe three times so far. Inclement roasting sun over here, dont need a sunroof at all!

      @@user-wp1ff1rs4r I only have1,500 miles but no problems so far. Consumer reports gives it a good reliability rating. It also has a 6 cylinder turbo which I think is much better than a 4 cylinder turbo because the engine doesn’t have to strain as much. Scotty Kilmer pointed that out when he reviewed his customer’s CX-90

    A terrific review in every respect. As a 70-year-old whose DD/family cars have been full-size vans or minivans since 1983, I'm now considering a mid-size SUV or crossover, preferably in a 2-row variant such as the CX-70. I like your take on the inherent goodness of the base trim, including slightly smaller wheels (providing tires with ample sidewalls!) and the standard I-6 turbo. But my wife insists on a heated steering wheel and ventilated seats, so I'll likely have to climb to the applicable trim level. Also, the larger interior of the Pilot intrigues me, but reviews I've read of Honda products in general often cite higher-than-average road noise. I don't require tomb-like conditions, but a quieter ride could break a tie. Cheers!

    Thank you for reviewing the base model, I am currently looking to buy this vehicle, I’ve never own a Mazda car before after being a Toyota fan for too long, I really want this to be my next one, I’m looking to get either the Preferred or Preferred plus model and stay under 45 grand. It’s a lot of car for the money, I am just not so sure about the reliability of it compared to a Toyota one.

    Mate some of your nit picks might be fixable with software updates, I suspect the noise you're hearing might have something to do with the transfer case due to the AWD, just a wild guess though.

    • @MeynMotorGroup
      @MeynMotorGroup  Месяц назад +2

      Yes that could be possible the noise simply could be a mechanical natural sound the vehicle makes in which case is fine. Overall, I'm really loving this CX-90 with the smaller wheels can absolutely recommend.
