I have no idea what gauge wire I used in this instance. I use the largest wire that will fit into the bead usually. This example, tutorial is adaptable to what you need to use it is not a recipe for one specific outcome.
The base is just called a metal block and the hammer is a domed hammer. Check out fdj tools, just give them a google search.
Nice video...I might have missed it, but what gauge wire and what kind of wire did you use ?
IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL, THANKS FOR YOUR TIME FOR THE TUTORIALS, CONSUELO S FCO CA
In really appreciate this straight forward video without trying to sell us something, just you showing us how to do it. Thank you.
Hi, Can you tell me what is the name of the hammer and the base you use for hammering the wire?
Thank you
would u do a tutorial that is a rundown of all your tools that you use? and perhaps just a basic guage list??? all those pliers n hammers and various other objects have me in suspense.
I have one on RUclipsI think, at least I know I have a tut that covers both topics on my website Magpiegemstones on the resources page. RUclips won't let me post a url.
I greatly appreciate you sharing this craft. I am furiously watching your videos lol and have subscribed :). One thing though I am in a constant state of OMG over your nails... I can't perform simple tasks with short nails and I keep thinkin OMG she is gonna catch her nail and loose a finger. Be careful >.< please. Thanks for the good tutorials!
LOL I have had my nails for a long time so no worries, for me it's just like having longer fingers.
