Noticed some comments stated the eyes on the eye pins were to large, the fun part of making your own jewelry or findings is you can make each piece and components to the size you prefer or need for each project.

I so appreciated this video, sometimes you have the ideas and the technique just isn't there. I have watched many youtube videos and this by far is the best one that explains the basics on wiring. Thank you for taking the time to do this!!!

A big thank you for taking the time to put this out there. I am brand spanking new to this craft and there are times when I don't even know what something is called to be able to get information on it. For example I did not know jump rings were indeed called jump rings at first so my Google searches for round hooky things did not yield successful results. Your instructions and information is given clearly and concisely and the appearances of the kitty cats makes the videos extra special.

Nice tutorial. I had a working knowledge of gauges and sizes but it was good to have a refresher of sorts. My cat, Mr. Puddy, reeks havoc on my work station unless I put everything away each time I finish for the day. Again, thanks for the video.

So cute. It's funny my cat (also a rescue) always investigates when I'm beading as well. The only problem is he takes the beads and bats them around the house.

    Hi Mokiecat,
Love your tutorials. I have a question about jump rings. I can make and cut them no problem there. How do you get them hard enough so that they do not pull apart at the slightest pull on the chain?
Mine just pull apart and of course then get all misshapen.

    • @Mokiecat1

+Jade Anderson For our small jewelry projects we use the dead soft wire, the larger the project the harder the wire usually

Wonderful tutorial but I may be the only person that had a hard time seeing the details of what you are teaching us to make, either the things on the table made it hard to see the details or your fingers and hair, I understand you need your fingers in the mix lol but is there another angle which you can show us..I would rather learn the right way 1st then waste any materials even cheap ones ex: thought I had the 1st loop right then not sure, jump rings obv. wrap but the cuts? thank you are a ^

Great tips but could barely hear you & when making jump rings, both your hand & head were in the way. Only mentioning to make you aware for future. Not a criticism :)
