I learned some great new ways to finish off my leather projects by watching your video. Thank you for such great ideas.
I would love to see more, current videos. You have so much good info to share. I know it takes time, though. It would be awesome, though
gorgeous necklace
people need to not be so rude and SAY anything negative about someone who is KINDLY taking the time to share their "know-how's" .....by commenting on someone's physical appearance......keep your negative comments to yourself please!!!! THANK YOU!
You are such a great teacher . . . Thank you for sharing. Melodie, Northern Ontario
Your videos are super. I've learned so much from you. Many thanks.
Oh it's all good, to each their own! I need my nails to use as tools when I wire wrap and pick up teeny gems.
Fantastic video, very nice techniques, I'll be putting them to use!
Thank you zarza! I needed this technique to finish off a few UFOs
Thank you; I have been wondering how this technique is done
Dont know how you work with those nails? Lol Great Video!
"Very helpful! I'm not sure how you attached the leather above the crimped wire on the first one?"
The beads are on a beading wire with a loops and the leather is just strung through the loop. You know the kind of loop you make at the end of a necklace for the clasp but instead of a clasp you put the leather through. Does that make sense? It is done just like the green garnet one I show where I do the surgeons knots.
No. They're lovely.
No, no, no - - - thank YOU for taking the time to make this and other videos . I have learned so much from you - - - (I'm a newbie). I just went to GoodWill today and bought a suede leather skirt to cut up to use when hammering earwires, which I saw you do on another video.
this was such an informative video!...thank you so much for sharing!...I want to ask you if there are wrapping techniques that can be done with the leather cording to create a multi strand necklace?...I have seen leather chokers/necklaces with this look and I am very interested in learning how to recreate this look...thanks again!
Oh that's a great idea, thanks.
That's an excellent question. I'll look at doing another video on that.
how do you get one of those strings to go through a 1 or 2mm bead hole?
You use the size of stringing material that fits in the holes or you drill the holes bigger.
I ventured bravely into incorporating leather into a necklace design this evening after watching this video last night! Thank you, Szarka!!!
BTW the name of the knot is square knot. Just so you know. It's not really important to know the name! lol
Kathy Corkery oh thank you!!
