I agree he’s quite good but I feel like he was amazing from day 1, he didn’t have that journey like Joey did and DOI is all about that journey. Hence why Jo Swash won and not Perri.
@@bbg2412 The journey is important, but honestly, it's a bit crap if that's all that matters and not the whole set of skills someone learns and performs well, regardless of where they start.
Everybody else is doing 2 footed turns and out comes Nile with a forward bracket. Amazing how quickly he's been able to pick up advanced skating turns.
Go on Nile! Thank you so much for posting these Wren, I’m in the UK but never get chance to watch the whole show so at least I can still watch all Nile’s performances. I follow his and all the squad’s RUclips channels so it’s awesome to see him doing so brilliantly x
Nile absolutely smashed it! He showed a level of grace under pressure the other competitors just couldn't match. Outstanding! The next performance is going to be epic‼
I've only been watching Nile's performances because I watch his gymnastic clips..so this is the first time I've seen others.. he is sooooo much better than everyone else, I can't vote being in Australia, so I hope you guys do the right thing!
Watching Nile go, and his determination, is absolutely amazing! I hope he's as proud of himself as we are all of him. He's doing great! The Viveanne did great too, and good for her for getting up after her fall!
I've only seen Nile's routines before now and okay. I'm from an ice skating nation, we do plenty of skating in PE at school and even though that was twenty years ago I guarantee I still skate better than the other four do. Not having ever skated before and starting as an adult though must be so much tougher and scarier, falling's easier as a kid for sure. So well done to all of them but honestly only Nile wows.
I think that's probably why Nile has the edge over everyone else, as a gymnast he's used to falling and making mistakes. He is used to putting in the hard work to perfect a skill. I hope this has opened his eyes to the fact that just because he may not be able to be an Olympian in gymnastics, it doesn't mean he can't retrain and do other Olympic sports that are safer on his neck and shoulder
Nile is clearly the best and despite her fall Viv was next, she was more confident than the rest of them. I’ve only been watching Nile’s skates but I didn’t realise how wobbly some of the others were and not as confident.
Damn, Niles! You look like you've been skating your whole life. You can't be an Olympic Gymnast without mastering the techniques first. You are so precise in your skating and so much fun to watch!
Everyone except nile looked like they were going ‘hey mum look what I can do!’ as their mum stands there mustering up their best ‘wow that was amazing!!!’ when really it was highly underwhelming.
Nile really went for it with that butterfly! Poor Molly, her forward skating looks like roller derby. I feel bad for the woman that fell, she was doing well!
Observation beFore watching: Nile IS a solo. He had to adapt to being a duo. More, he is an amazing athlete. While he could not have done ‘anything,’ he could have done ‘this.’
I can’t believe the Art of Survival by Bishop Briggs was played in the background near the beginning of this video/episode. I love that song ever since I heard it in the National Treasure: Edge of History Series 1 Finale!!!
My heart when the vivienne fell 😢 so glad she got back up and continued like a true pro ❤ this series has been great, I want the vivienne to win, but in my heart I think it will be Nile, he's just done an incredible job every single week!
Nile needs to win, i just hope when it comes down to the wire, the public don't just make it a contest of who was more well-known before the competion. I imagine the vast majority didn't really know who Nile was, I hope that doesn't affect the final vote. I wish they didn't involve the public, the public can be dim, lol. #teamNile
Nile is doing skating skills way more advanced in three months that adult skaters who do competitions sometimes cant achieve after a few years on the ice. Shame the first person fell because she had good skating skills.
Ok. I know nothing about anything. I am 70. I’ve been watching athletes for many years (not including after I had to pay for it.) I Have been watching this particular competition from a ‘Niles onlyist’ view. Being honest! Given what I’ve just seen, I think Nile was instructed to ‘not do more.’ Again, full disclosure: I have Only watched for Nile. I have no idea how the other competitors have presented in former performances. Maybe each skater was directed to ‘do this.’ Nile did that, and could have done so much more. Note: doing that in isolation is far more difficult that connecting it, with or w/o a partner.
I feel a little badly for the competitors. Nile is on a completely different level from the others. They're all doing great, but it's just too much of a lift to compete with a literal Olympic gymnast.
But you now it doesn't mean anything. He is an athlete but different sport is he's domane. He just puts so much work into everything he does. That's the reason he's the best on DoI. not becouse he's an athlete
He is an athlete, yes, which gives him good body and spatial awareness and he has the drive to work hard, but ice skating and gymnastics are very different sports... He filmed a video trying figure skating on his RUclips channel a year ago, you can see where he was then compared to now😉ruclips.net/video/m69Agwppcrk/видео.html
Biggest surprise this series was the Vivienne. There always seems to be a "joke" entry, like Todd Carty, Bez, Gemma Collins. Now I'm not a huge fan of drag, but the Vivienne has surprised me since day one. I don't know who went out because I was working yesterday.
Considering Nile is a gymnast, surely an unfair advantage over the others and not a level playing field? Yes I know its completely different on ice, however he still has a well-developed sense of balance and suppleness the others don't have. The Vivienne should NOT have come last, he is courageous on the ice and has the most charisma and stage presence.
Nile smashed it. He is definitely the smoothest and most confident on the ice.
Nile and Olivia deserve to win this, they out-skate and out perform every one of the other competitors every week whether together or solo.
I agree with you
I agree he’s quite good but I feel like he was amazing from day 1, he didn’t have that journey like Joey did and DOI is all about that journey. Hence why Jo Swash won and not Perri.
@@bbg2412 But if you watch some of Nile's old videos (before being on DoI) he was pretty much useless on ice. He spent more time falling than skating.
@@dannulik yeah but almost every contestant is like that before DOI. That’s why they train for 3 months before the live shows.
@@bbg2412 The journey is important, but honestly, it's a bit crap if that's all that matters and not the whole set of skills someone learns and performs well, regardless of where they start.
Class act Nile is, compliments everyone.
Everybody else is doing 2 footed turns and out comes Nile with a forward bracket. Amazing how quickly he's been able to pick up advanced skating turns.
He’s an Olympic gymnast… I’d expect him to be amazing and he was on the first show
As an Olympic gymnast hes used to putting in the hard work to perform.
Damn, this is the first one I've watched that wasn't just Nile's performance. Now I see why everyone says he's better than the rest...
Same 😅 they are all good but Nile is top notch
I just had the same thought while watching.
It just shows who's more dependent on their dance partners and who's a strong individual skater🙃
Yay Nile, hands down a cut above the rest, so nerve racking though, well done everyone.
Nile definitely seemed the most confident
Go on Nile! Thank you so much for posting these Wren, I’m in the UK but never get chance to watch the whole show so at least I can still watch all Nile’s performances. I follow his and all the squad’s RUclips channels so it’s awesome to see him doing so brilliantly x
Woohoo!!!! Nile with that butterfly kick.
i actually screamed when he landed.
Redemption!
Nile absolutely smashed it! He showed a level of grace under pressure the other competitors just couldn't match. Outstanding! The next performance is going to be epic‼
Nile and The Vivienne are the ones I’d love to see in the final.
The first person took a fall, the other three contestants played it safe and you have Nile who kills it in the end and seals the deal!
I've only been watching Nile's performances because I watch his gymnastic clips..so this is the first time I've seen others.. he is sooooo much better than everyone else, I can't vote being in Australia, so I hope you guys do the right thing!
Nile is such as sweet soul! His encouragement to his fellow competitors was heartfelt. I'm rooting for him to win the whole shebang!
He's already won me over - having watched his gymnastics shenanigans for the past few years. I knew he'd excel at this! I hope he wins the title.
Look at Nile!!!! Sweet! Well done! Thx Wren!
Gymnasts are the fiercest competitors always!! Go Nile!
Watching Nile go, and his determination, is absolutely amazing! I hope he's as proud of himself as we are all of him. He's doing great! The Viveanne did great too, and good for her for getting up after her fall!

Holy ice rink! I was on the edge of my seat ! Thanks, again , for such prompt posting, Wren! We love you here in the USA b
YES, WE DO! I'm obsessed with the Wilsonater and his squad! I watch it all.
And here in Canada, too!
South America here. Thank you so much Wren! 🌹
There’s Nile, and then there is everyone else. The man is the real deal 💪🖖
Nile is clearly the best and despite her fall Viv was next, she was more confident than the rest of them. I’ve only been watching Nile’s skates but I didn’t realise how wobbly some of the others were and not as confident.
Go Nile, you’ve worked so hard! Well done😊🎉
lets give VIV her flowers! ❤❤❤
she handled that so well, smashed it!
Nile is such a class act 🥰
Yes Nile ! Come on ! X
Olivia looking on so proud of Nile.
Damn, Niles! You look like you've been skating your whole life. You can't be an Olympic Gymnast without mastering the techniques first. You are so precise in your skating and so much fun to watch!
nile went crazy! he landed remarkably
Oh and a big thank you to Wren for putting these up for us Americans! Much appreciated!
Well done for getting back up Viv! Rooting for you❤️
Yes Nile!
Everyone except nile looked like they were going ‘hey mum look what I can do!’ as their mum stands there mustering up their best ‘wow that was amazing!!!’ when really it was highly underwhelming.
Cant thank you enough for uploading these!! 💞
Nile really went for it with that butterfly! Poor Molly, her forward skating looks like roller derby. I feel bad for the woman that fell, she was doing well!
Nile! Nile! Nile! Nile!
Considering they've only been skating for a couple months, I'm really impressed by how well everyone did!
Thank you Wren! Team Nile from Day 1!!
Wow. They all did great, but Niles is something else.
He just went for it😋🥇🤞🍀
Observation beFore watching: Nile IS a solo. He had to adapt to being a duo. More, he is an amazing athlete. While he could not have done ‘anything,’ he could have done ‘this.’
I love the detail on the white jackets!
Yay Nile! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ thanks Wren 😊

Nile: when the smallest in stature stands brightest in performance. LOVE.
Nile actually looks like someone who has skated before when you put them all together.
Way to go Nile.
Nile won that one !
The Vivienne was doing so well until her tumble....
Yay Nile, love him.
Nile's the best!
Oof. There is a huge gap between Nile and the others.
Good on them for all giving it a go. But if Nile doesn’t win this whole thing it’ll be crazy

Mollie🫶🏽
If Nile doesn't win the whole thing I'm complaining to ofcom
Anyone else cheer when Miles hit the butterfly?... no? Just me? OK, GO NILE!!
Why did Nike get so little time :(
No offense by Nile looks the most effortless on the ice. Everyone else is a little ridged and wonky 😬 there’s a clear winner
Cmon holly, math obviously not a strong point for her, Nile was not 5 points ahead of everyone, he was either 4,3,2,1 points of the others, doh ! 😂
I would have put Molly in last place.
Nike is heads and shoulders above everyone else. But remember right, he’s an athlete - feels a little unfair. But still, fun to watch.
But you now it doesn't mean anything. He is an athlete but different sport is he's domane. He just puts so much work into everything he does. That's the reason he's the best on DoI. not becouse he's an athlete

The fall was definitely unfortunate for The Vivienne. S/he is close behind Nile in confidence on the ice and footwork.
