Yes. Thank you so much for posting these videos of Nile and Olivia's performances. I'm in Upstate NY. It is so enjoyable to watch them perform the full routines. Esp. with watching their BTS footage that they post as well.

Nile's determination and ability to entertain is just incredible. I don't know if he'd carry on with Ice Skating, but it's been so long since I've seen that fire in his eyes.
I watch every vlog and Luke and Ash, and Joanna. They are all just electric.

Thank you for posting. Everyone here is (rightly) a Nile Wilson fan, I am also a HUGE Olivia Smart fan. Even though she is British - she represented Spain the Mask of Zorro program was amazing.
I had this song on my list of program songs so i was so excited to see him skate to it, he did so well again, his axel is looking really good as well! Can’t wait to see him do it

Great show. No surpise. Nile is an elite athlete. He seems to have a knack for ice skating, as well. Maybe a tad imbalanced to have two olympians teamed up lol.
I think nearly all the professional skaters have performed in either the Olympics or the Worlds. Undoubtedly a gymnast will have some natural advantages (Beth Tweddle has also previously won it) so it may have been imbalance whoever he was with. It means nothing unless there's chemistry and personality though, as they are relying on a public vote, and Nile will be less well known than most of the others. But their chemistry is very good and she brings out his personality, probably because they are both Northeners with the same sense of humour! If you've watched his RUclips channel, he definitely couldn't skate very well before he started the training, so it's quite unbelievable how far he's come in a short space of time.
@@davidjames3080 very few of the professional skaters have actually competed at any major championship events (other than olivia, only mark has competed at a senior worlds and europeans, lukasz did junior worlds a couple times), and none of them to the level olivia has (8th at olympics, 7th at worlds, 4th at europeans. all from last year, and she plans on returning to competition next season). it definitely makes the imbalance worse. she’s fundamentally a far better skater than the rest of the pros, and likely expects a lot more from him, and u can tell.

I thought she said RobIN Williams at first, and I was so confused...
He is a great learner but I thought please straighten that back and you will have a 10. Saying that a lot of adult skaters after a year or two still can’t do the spins and tricks but it’s a show and he’s learning really fast.
Well done, Nile. Didnt enjoy what the appearance and gestures represent, but the skating was spot on. I cant wait for him to perform an Axel jump on stage, I am sure he'll do it.

I think Nile has it a bit tougher than the rest because he physically can't do any lifts with Olivia. So not only does he have to perform he has to do individual tricks to impress. I hope that this shows everyone just how good he is ❤️
Hello! Could you explain the 'can't do any lifts with Olivia' bit? I'm new to this pair and I always thought he chose not to because he wanted to focus on his own skating. Is he injured in some way or...?
@@DaidairoGS on his own channel he explains his injuries, but the limitation comes from their almost same weight an height. Usually the male partner ist way bigger an heavier, so he can lift the female partner.

Of course he can lift her, just not some of showier lifts, at least yet. They've already performed some lifts, and practised more at the gym, so I'm sure we'll see some results in the coming weeks. I'd be very surprised (and slightly worried) if they tried the headbanger though 😁
Either way I'm more interested to see him nail the axel at some point!
I wouldn't say he's got it tougher than the rest in any other way, as he's still an extremely fit olympic athlete with brilliant body control, lots of transferable skills, and all the time to practise (no kids or day job getting in the way).

In the UK he's had 14 number 1s (7 solo, 7 with Take That) as well as 4 other number 1s as well as being part of 4 number 1 charity singles. Plus eleven number 1 albums. Only Elvis and the Beatles have had more number 1s in the UK. He's also in the Guinness Book of records for selling 1.6 million tickets in a day when his 2006 tour was announced. So, yeah, I guess you could say he's big over here. Plus, he's from Stoke, which makes him the salt of the earth!

Is Robbie like the David Hasselhoff of the UK? Amazing that I’ve never heard of him, given his popularity there. But you’ve got tons of footballers that I’ve never heard of either. I know Beckham and Wayne Rooney and the guy who blew the penalty kick in the WC this year.

I'm not sure I'd put Robbie Williams in the same bracket as David Hasselhoff! He's more like the modern Elton John. In fact he's good friends with Elton - Elton was the one who forced him into rehab for the final time and got him sober.
Robbie actually lived in LA with his American wife, Ayda Field, until recently, although he is now living in London, next door to Led Zep's Jimmy Page!
