I've had my Hyper X Cloud X for a few years now. These have been the longest surviving headset I've owned and these are literally used everyday from business calls during pandemic life to gaming on my xbox and my PC.
Does it have that static sound for others on your xbox?

The potential white noise in the background could be that noise suppression is off and the drivers (hd audio realteck) could be out of date, so you might need to update those, for pc players anyway. You can access noise suppression on the control panel, sound, microphone
can you explain in detail where i can find this? also, is there a software for the headphones

Which would you pick for mainly competitive r6, these or the razer blackshark v2 X?
I've used my CloudX for almost 2 or 3 years now and its by far one of the most tolerant headsets i've ever used, I have dropped them and accidentally thrown them in the ground and etc and it barley even got a scratch and the foam is still goes back to its original form, the only thing that would stop me from selling them as brand new never used headphones is the cable is a little bent at the connector but that happens to any headphone that you use in the same position for a while
Do you think I can use the xbox one on pc( with the mic working) if I use a splitter for it

Just bought these over the Astro a10s hopefully I picked the right choice! And that pressure point you were talking about might also be alleviated by taking off your hat
I test all my headsets without a hat
The 3.5 mm cord at the end it broke can I fix it in any way by taking it to a repair shop or buy a new one

Hello there! Loving your reviews; very accurate and complete. I would like to ask your opinion. I need to buy a headset for Xbox One (any headset would be an improvement on my current one). I need a headset with good sound (to hear footsteps on fps games) and a good mic. I was going to buy the HyperX Cloud Alpha but I've read lots of complaints about crosstalk issue. I'm on budget (100 bucks max.). I narrowed it down among Hyperx CloudX, Steelseries Arctis 1, and Razer Kraken X but cannot make a decision. I may be able to find in my country the Arctis 3 in offer within my budget. Which headset would you suggest? Which in your opinion is the best among the three? If I find the Arctis 3 in offer, should I choose that over the others?

After watching your Razer V2X and TB recon 500 ,I’m switching these out ,bought as a backup pair ,good but not great.
I also feel my glasses quite quickly ,an hour or so and I feel the pressure
was the razer v2 X better than the clouds?

The Techne I have the Dolby atmos on my pc so will that give me full 7.1 surround or just stereo. Thanks
@@boxz2498 no headset will ever have that "true" 7.1 but it will give you the effect. I also use atmos on my PC & Xbox.
I've had these for about 2 years or so. The only problem I've encountered is if you hit the wire where its plugged into the controller itll lose connection and you have to unplug and plus it back in. Kindve annoying.

Oh yeah I don’t like the press against my head on headsets, so the static noise my ps4 friend uses them and when I play fortnite with him with the cross platform feature, I hear it from him, but my xbox party chat with my friend I never hear the static noise and they have the same headset, so I’m guessing it’s ether the ps4 controller jack, or the console. Hope this helps answer your question.

Just got these for Christmas today (12-25-20) and they are amazing!! Looked at reviews and seen SOME negativity. No echo for me. Sound quality is A+ would absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a corded headset 👍👍👍
Update.. Experienced echo in my party chat, returned and got Steel Series 7X

I have them and nothing happend to them for a whole year. Only thing is the cord got a little ripped but nothing best buy didnt handle. Took them in came out with a new pair and all it cost was 10 dollars for they new headsets insurance..they are great the artics steel series 3s.

Anyone have experience with these Headsets? i recently bought Razer krakens and the audio is very tinny and almost muffled. The mic on it also sits quite far back (on my head) and i have to almost shout to be heard through the party, Will be returning them and was very disappointed in a 120$ dollar headset. Previously had the Astro 10s and the sound was incredble however they broke after 7 months. Its very hard to choose which of these mixed reviewed headsets to actually try... Id rather not keep sending things back to amazon!

I own the CloudX since 2016.
Purchase price was approx 100 USD at the time. For 50 dollars these are a steal.
I have had no feedback about static coming from the microphone via PC or Xbox.
Glasses wearer as well, no excessive pressure on my face. Perhaps because I wear low profile glasses.
No disrespect to this review video but it was rather subject.
I'd check out a more spec driven review video before making a purchase.

Mmmmm I recently just changed my setup color to blue and this headset would look slick in it. Also i forgot to tell you in my last comment that I subbed! 👍👍👍 BTW: my friend told me that when you change the ear pads to velour they are much better with glasses as he has the clouds 2.
thank you so much! yeah but when you use the velour pads, the sound is even worse, a lot of sound bleed.
The Techne after trying my friends headset I do agree that the sound sounds different, mainly the bass leaking, but it also helps with focusing on the highs which involve things like foot steps which is really good for competitive play. However I’ll be sticking to my much higher quality Phillips SHP9500 open back headphones. Plus the $30 Vmoda Boom Pro you got yourself a nice $110 competitive gaming headset. Keep up the good vids!

I got the old black and red ones that ive been using on my pc the pressure point part is probably your glasses i have to swap my glasses with wire frames anytime i play for long periods.

I know I'm a few years late to this video but I'm in the market for a budget headset and my two options are the logitech g432's and these blue and black hyperx ones. I personally prefer hyperx but I'm a little concerned that I won't be able to use them on pc to their full potential because their built for ps4. If anyone can answer that would be greatly appreciated, Thanks! ^^
