Haven't decided yet if I want to get this headset or the GSP300 for my Ps4. I'm also on the fence about pre-ordering the upcoming A40 TR X-Edition headset instead. Thoughts Gamesky?
I would recommend the GSP300 if you don't want spend an extra $50 for the A40 Tr-X. But keep in mind that the A40Tr-X might not need a mix amp since its optimized for consoles and because you can only preorder the headset by itself, not with a mix amp to go along with it. In any case I am going to wait until I see more reviews of it and decide between that and the GSP300.
I have tried tons of headsets and the best option that I found is getting an amp and a headset... I use turtle beach amp with sennheisers game ones... and they sound amazing. I would go for the hyper x or Gsp 300 or maybe even the pc37x on massdrop...
This is silly, its more pricey than the standard hyper x 2's and doesnt come with the usb 7.1 soundcard (Which is 30 separate) i dont understand why you wold buy these over the originals
@Armagedd0n well you can see my post was one year ago when they was the same price... anyway ive seen the hyper x 2 for 50 and these for 30. Id still recommend the hyper x 2 because the soundcard costs more seperate
I bought them and returned them. The Ps4 controller still doesn't put out enough power to fully support louder volume. My Turtle Beach Px4 is much louder than those. I loved the comfort I just wanted them to be louder. I wonder if Cloud Alpha are louder. If they are I'm buying those.
emeres hello , I’m having the same issue got them today hook them up to my PS4 controller try to play and it’s garbage when the volume is all the way up it’s to low theirs absolutely nothing you can do to fix Huh?
MaskSo James That's the only option but we're looking at addidtional cables. And if you're using your PS4 with your TV like 80% of community it becomes an inconvenience in my opinion.
The cloud Alphas will not be louder as they are a higher impedance at 65 ohms , these PlayStation Hyperx clouds will be louder as they are 41 ohms . but not as clear or as much bass as the Alphas. I have PS4 and an Xbox with the Alphas and they do need a slight amplification to get the full crisp sound and punchy bass . so if you want to run alphas on the PS4 or PC , I suggest buying the Hyperx Amp 7.1 Surround USB card. that brings the Alphas too life. If you want to run them with Xbox one then host your game from your Xbox to your PC and plug the USB dongle in and BOOM. nice and loud. plus you now have 7.1 surround sound if you want it, but running them Stereo always sounds best.
Hi.. Thanks for the video! You just briefly mention that this headset also works on Switch. My son has a switch. It works sometimes, but most often it doesn´t. It works on my iPhone, on my Mac and on the test-PC in the shop where we bought them. I would say it doesn´t work 80% of the time. That is so much that my son doesn't want to use it (understandable). Not sure about the ps4 clouds, but the alpha is guranteed high ratings so you can't go wrong with the alphas. I like my alphas better than my brother's Astro a50s third gen

Depends cause the turtle beach stealth 600 are wireless and have virtual sorround sound this only has stereo
I have the turtle beach stealth 600 and there the best and really good for fortnite
The 600's kinda suck cause while quality is great they are super low volume wise without the superhuman hearing on which makes it sound distorted
Thanks for the detailed review. Is it also compatible to mobile phone or ipad? Tnks
Same question
You should review the Sennheiser GSP 600, the SteelSeries Arctis Pro and Arctic wireless, and the Creative SoundBlaster X H7! :)
I love your channel bro, keep up the good work
Haven't decided yet if I want to get this headset or the GSP300 for my Ps4. I'm also on the fence about pre-ordering the upcoming A40 TR X-Edition headset instead. Thoughts Gamesky?
The Hyperx cloud alpha's are also a good option
Go with the GSP300. The mic is way better, and the soundstage too. There also still the cable issue from hyperx that nobody talks about.
GSP300
Would you happen to have a link?
I have the new PS4 Controller and this headset and it’s really quite loud... sometimes too loud
Any suggestions???
does it work 100% of the time on ps4?
Can you Use the 7.1 souncard with this Headphone?
Actually i have bought both, the Headset and the Soundcard, myself now and it works fine
@@VeRyLiKeAbLe00 Thanks bro
I see you bought the sound card and it worked fine, does it work fine right away ? Does the 7.1 surround sound work good ?
@@ilike2dewit295 Yes it did. The Soundcard was delivered with the newest Firmware wich you need to have. Just Plug it in to your Playstation and Start. The Playstation even recognize the Soundcard and will setup all Audio settings Automaticly.
The 7.1 Sound works with out Problems and the Overall Sound in Combination with the Headset is the best Sound i've heard so far when whe talk about Gaming Headsets.
This or the Cloud Alpha? I could get the Alpha but I'm worried the DS4 controller won't be able to drive them well. Also I've heard these are not as comfortable and don't sound as good as the Alpha
Hopeful for this one, got the cloud alpha, while it was superb with pc gaming and mobile listening it was just horrible on the ps4 the sound is really really faint and low even if you have all your volume settings to the max in the ps4, i hope this is their answer to the volume problem with the ps4.
Jeremy T I would honestly get the golds for PS4 the alphas are soooo uncomfortable I regret buying them. I’m assuming that all the hyperx headsets are like that do I would just go with the golds due to comfort.
Hammad 007 comfortable or not, the mic is horrible.
Gloppin Boopin I already have a separate mic it so I’m good
Hi ppl, you can buy the Hyper x Cloud || and used them with the PS4 with the 3.5 plug and also the UBS 7.1 virtual surround sound, 100% recommend.
So this one does not support 7.1?
i just bought these for $60 on amazon hurry up they got a discount
xXGAMING101Xx hows the sound on ps4?
@@rada5364 i have to wait a week til i receive them. I will keep u updated
xXGAMING101Xx appreciate it
rady They are very awesome!! Haven’t tried anything better! Just got em for like 3 days. I made a review of them on my channel. Ur welcome to come with some questions :)
How much are they originally?
Thank you man
I have a question of whether this headset is Peripheral ps4
وش تقول انت
I have the PS4, I also own the HyperX usb amp/dac. Should I get these or the alpha? I can’t decide! Obviously they will be used for gaming but I do use my PS4 for watching movies too.
2:12 OMG that is just awful 😱 Thanks for this video, now I know that I definitely won’t buy this thing!
Its because he plugged it in his PC
It's because he used it on PC idiot
Definitely getting a pair of these
These or the Alpha?
if it's for the PS4 I would say these....they really are that much louder
Gamesky ok thanks Man.
Martin97 did you get these
@@OfficialGamesky can u hear enemys and is it loud enough. Did u try it?
@@OfficialGamesky is the sound quality and comfort the same as alpha ?
Great video its been a minute how have u been
Thanks. Been good, how about you?

These or Corsair HS50 for ps4? Most important to me is the localization of enemies.
imo, Steelseries Arctis 5's are pretty good for that. And at just $100, it's a pretty good deal.
Dont buy cloud 2 the treble are too high and the bass are too low
Any difference with the standard hyperx cloud? Comfort, sound? Is there also a difference in comfort and sound too on the cloud 2?
Cloud ps4 have 41 Ω
@@mukti1391 ik
It’s dedicated for PS4, which means sound quality is better on the PS4 cause if u chose like he alpha version, u would get such a low vokume
@@halalphish4495 i know about the volume. Im just asking about sound quality and comfort etc
Are they louder than the cloud silver?
I assume no because all my headsets are quiet on ps4. I'm listening to RUclips right now and can barely hear it. I'm using the cloud ps4 at full volume. I feel bad because I begged for these headphones.
I ordered mine I’m excited 😊
Did you receive it and how are they
Dr Jedi GT I got mine there good but when u use chat Audio u can only hear on one side that’s for me I don’t know if it’s the same as the other my box came beat up they through my package around but I’ll give it a 8/10
@@tugno9639 that's with every headset. On ps4 if you put chat audio u only hear on one side for some reason. No matter what headset u have
I’m a you tuber and looking for a better head set, can someone tell me which is better the HyperX cloud or PS4 gold wireless (slimmer ones) headset?
Equinox 17 I just buyed the hyperX and it s really good so yeah but the hyperX
Petit L thanks could you give me some details like is the mic good and sound quality?
The sound quality is really good and the mic also is good for things such as talking to your friends in a fornite game but if you want to start a RUclips channel this is really good
Thanks for replying I was camping and i just now got internet service so thank you i appreciate it!!
Petit L I’ve already started I have 265 subs
very solid headset that lasted me many years... for sure worth the money buying hyperx headphones.. if you want a better sound and have money to throw away i recommend the brand Sennheiser i just orded the hd600 with an amp and im ready to shed a single tear when i hang the clouds up for good :'(
I got mine
Hey i have a short question. Do you get a good surround Sound for shooters to locate enemies really clear? Or do i need a sound card like the cloud2?
Thanks for help
You do not need a sound card sorry I am 2 years late lol
@@VoidedEarth wait so the volume doesn't sound low on ps4?
So like where’s the wireless model because my cats will be all over these otherwise sadly haha
cody20935 if u wanna get good sound and wireless get the tb stealth 600
HyperX cloud flight are the wireless model
Inv1ctus I went with the tb stealth 512s and I’m very happy with them the sound is superb and they have a good wireless battery life. That and I only paid 100 so I really can’t complain haha
I’m thinking about buying this headset. However I have a very sensitive head and get migraines very easily will this headset be comfortable and not give me migraines or should I look for a more high-quality headset ?
I had the cloud core and they are super comfortable, just went out after 2 years. These are the same build so should be same comfort. Gonna be getting these. If you buy wait for Black Friday or cyber Monday when the price is down
Why alphas?just invest in cloud 2s
Whats the difference between the normal hyperX, and the PS4 edition?
Wazo ur dumb
Dowell Aldous no. I just want an answer😞😉
Wazo ok, 😐, but I’ma tell yu
1. 41• which means better sound quality for PS4
2. Made for the PS4, the design
3. If you use hyperX normal or Alpha, U WILL GET LOW VOLUME
4. I got these for 30$ cheaper today
Dowell Aldous thanks bro
The Sony gold 2018 is only 80 bucks on amazon witch one should I buy
HyperX for sure. These are much more comfortable.
Hyperx, sturdier and more comfortable
Buy hyperx alpha. Sound 100x better. Ps4 platinum has worse mic
Gold They have a pure 7.1 sound
Med kit do you even know what you’re talking about?
All I want to know.. is if you can pinpoint or know the general direction of footsteps when playing games like Black Ops 4. Mainly the blackout mode, and other games like CSGO etc.. can you hear footsteps in a direction?
I bought them today and played fortnite just to test footsteps and enemy shooting and I had a hard time identifying where they are. I'm disappointed
@@karoshe Yeah, I've returned them already
Hyper X Cloud PS4 or Hyper X Cloud Alpha?
If you're going to use them for the ps4, better stay away from the cloud alpha, while its audio quality and volume is superb on pc / mobile, its sound is just too low and horrible when plugged in to the ps4 controller, i wish the ps4 cloud has finally fixed this issue this time.
Not sure about the ps4 clouds, but the alpha is guranteed high ratings so you can't go wrong with the alphas. I like my alphas better than my brother's Astro a50s third gen
I bought the alpha but I returned it. When you are in the party chat they will hear everything in your backgroundand. I think the mic so sensitive, pick up the sound through the headst so ending you need to lower your volume. Im using in xbox one x.
It looks like these don't include the velour pads or USB adapter. Can that be purchased separately?
These or Corsair hs50
These.
Bryson Estes for PS4 these for pc hs50
Bryson the hs50 suck balls, they rub against my ear cartilage and feel itchy as hell
These by far. I have Corsair HS50 and they are uncomfortable and they have bad build quality, a piece of plastic snapped on mine and I had to glue it back in place.

James McLeod why
which one should I get for my ps4 pro? this or alpha? I would assume ps4 version is better on ps4 pro since it's ps4 licensed? I don't know help me out guys. how's the sound quality difference if they both connected into ps4 pro?

Shouldn't you just get the hyperx cloud flights then?
Do you think he makes the headphones?
@@johnrexroad8883 the flights use the same design as the stinger, and the cloud design is much better. So that's why it'd be cool to see a wireless headset using the cloud design.
