My only complaint is that the camera movement was motion-sickness central and didn't feel as if it matched with the footsteps. Otherwise - solid 9.5/10!
I notice this one stays true to the original coloration, namely yellow wallpaper with tan carpets. A lot of the newer ones portray the backrooms as an oppressive chartreuse-avocado monotone (that is to say, more green than yellow).
@@venuspluto67 Exactly. The aesthetics are spot on. Have you ever read The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman? The Backrooms is very similar and this video feels like it captures the tone very much.
Really like this take on the backrooms. If we were to put all of these found footage videos in chronological order I feel like this one would be the oldest. Shows all the computers still on in the cubicles and still looks somewhat maintained, not deteriorating like other’s interpretations as well as the music still being on and such. Looks like all the people that may have worked there just disappeared which made it a different kind of creepy.

That is a very interesting take-I like it! That would make things even more unnerving, and I think would fit in with the "looping time theory" that many attach to the Backrooms.
Let me tell you what I meant by "Very nice work".... I get on here every couple of weeks to see either A-sync or Kayne Pixles. Your video was one of the first ones that actually had identical production results. One of the immediate things I noticed was how you had "soft" footsteps on the carpet. Your POV style is fluid with movements in correlation to the foot steps. Giving you a really well done immersion feeling. Plus whatever else people are saying which I will agree too. Keep up the incredible work.
That is a high quality production. Loved the moment with the shadow appearing on the wall and how the cameraman hesitates which way to go and even recoils from dark places and hallways. Very relatable. Not to mention the nice music in the lounge and the anxiety when it fades in the humming of the lighting. Very well made.
I honestly felt really safe in the conference room. Leaving that song behind was really sad because it was catchy and I may never hear music ever again for all I know.

i love how real you made this. The layout is still anxiety inducing, but the empty chairs and still on computers really adds a sense of dread. Like where did these people go? Why does it feel like they were just here? each computer screen almost seems like a face, staring back at the viewer. I really loved this.
the 80s music also adds a lot. It feels like a recent but bygone era- with the designs familiar but just a little too old to seem so new. i also love how the depth of rooms, and the length of them, seems off. Much too large for a regular office building. really great stuff.
Dude missed his chance to escape back to reality once he found that chair at 8:33. According to the Backrooms Wiki, if you find a chair facing awayfrom, and against a wall like that, the theory is you can POSSIBLY no clip back into reality by sitting in it and leaning backwards. At least that's how it used to be, not sure if the wiki's changed or not. Been a while since i checked.
Really like to believe that the shadow at 4:28 was that of another wanderer instead of an entity. It adds a rather tragic twist to the whole video. I even like to think that said "Wanderer" calls that office space his/her home. In any case, just seeing the shadow and nothing else was a really nice idea. Also really, really liked that part of the level that was only lith by the monitors. Goid Job.
The concept of the Backrooms I find the creepiest of all is the complete and utterly pointlessness of it all. It's an entire world with elaborate attention to detail, meticulously designed with many furnishings. It even has air to breathe and gravity The only thing that's missing is its purpose. A world with no future, no past that is home to harsh lighting, shadows and distorted monsters
Love the offices. And no entity is always a plus. If there was a entity, all one would need to do is run to a desk, sit behind it and simply ask the entity to make an appointment.
I like how the main character avoids dark and questionable places. Also after the appearance of the shadow, the whole video had the feeling that this creature is chasing the main character, and that it can jump out at any second👍👍👍
The loneliness and confusion come across very well in this video. If we ever do invent smellavision it'll be worth revisiting this video to check out that pungent, damp carpet smell.
I noticed the sound of the camera's mechanical lens added when zooming in on the chair in the middle of a dark room under a single light, nice audio touch... also, this may be the first time I've actually seen backrooms found footage that uses a zoom function at all, digital or mechanical zoom.
The old familiar sound of those lights humming... It fills my soul with hope and warmth... Making me believe that a world like this actually exists, devoid of any of those inhumane properties which this place we call "Earth" exists of...
Absolute perfection, you deserve far more recognition! By the way, the music played in the lounge area is so chill, yet somehow not in a suspicious way. 🥂🎵 Happy New Year!
This was an amazing video I'd love to stay there for awhile I wouldn't mind with the offices and everything else it makes the backroom a bit lively. Great job props to you this is amazing.
This was quite nice! The environment looks pretty good, and I like the lighting effects, however, there was one thing that made me aware this is not real all over, so I wanted to address this :3 The camera movement could need refining especially in the turns. There was the scene where the camera pointed at the shadow, but it turned away pretty casually and quite steady. Add more shake, make the turns faster and add a rotation that goes further down (if you are scared, the last thing you do is say "oh it's fine" and casually point your camera at it). This looks great for a video game, the environment looks realistic, if the camera movements were more jerky, less smooth and artificial, it would have been perfect :> Otherwise, a great video!
Easily captures the notion of the feeling that their MIGHT be an entity, but we never know if there is one. There's a certain amount of dread that comes with it, knowing if you are alone thinking your mind is playing tricks on you and thinking their is an entity but you'll never know.
the dark computer cubicle room was amazing! all those hard drives grinding away. felt like i was trapped in a wall st office from the 80's with a sexually harrassing boss over my shoulder
Your interpretation of the yellow wallpaper level is my favorite, I prefer it having areas that are more fleshed out like this. I like to imagine these more fleshed out zones are surrounded by "wilds" of labyrinthine more empty monotonous zones. The wilds are where entities would be more likely to show up... Lovely.
Great design, I loved the concept. Great backrooms video. This is more how I think it would be. I like that you used things like chairs, it’s more realistically eerie. Thanks for all your hard work. ❤
The Backrooms would be a perfect place to tour on electric scooters and small electric cars. There are charging outlets everywhere and you can set up camp anywhere to cook a meal, rest, etc. If such a place can be fully mapped and clipping locations plotted, it can be a hyperspatial transportation network that can connect any part of the world and even other habitable planets too.

Nice video, so is like they convert the backrooms in some kind of office ( like they wanted to do in the presentation video from Keny Pixels ) but they didn't know about entities
I would love to see a longer video of your section of the backrooms. A particularly effective punch near the end could be going through banal, generic offices pace and then unexpectedly ending up in a really glitched out section, like a room completely plastered with exit signs, but no floor. This feels like a sign you have gone too far or deep. When things start to look normal, I would expect even more sinister stuff to occur. However, I like their normal looking exploration, reminds me of real life Urbanex which is always interesting, sad and exhilarating
@@gatesyncresearch Walk into small sections of places of stores now gone, like Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, Radio Shack, Toys R Us, Montgomery Wards etcc. Great work! Only a couple of relatively minor notes, really. The camera seems to spend a lot of time panning on the floor. While I'm sure that improved the time required to render some parts, it just doesn't feel natural. People tend to point the camera at whatever it is that they are personally looking at...whatever currently has their attention. The floors in the backrooms tend to be the most homogenous part, so unless there is something novel involving the floor, like a hole in it, nobody is going to be spending much time looking down like that. The other note involves sound design. There was far too much attenuation due to distance....basically, it was too loud when you finally got into the room that the music was coming from, based on how loud it was as you were approaching it. ...and that's it. Two minor details that could use a little adjustment, but beyond that, one heck of a video. Also, I appreciate the notable lack of cheap jumpscares and the absence of asinine entities. Good work!
@@cen7ury I'm saying that kind of diminishes the work of the people who brave these halls. They could seriously get stuck by nature of the backrooms and you're saying it's all someone's creation for show instead of the dangerous expeditions that these would be.

I really like that there's more objects in these backrooms than in most other backroom-related videos. Its become sort of an unspoken rule among the community that the backrooms are barren and full of weird monsters, to actually see the location be a little more welcoming and not so omnious is great though. The mystery of why this anomalous location has a bunch of working lights & electronics despite seemingly no one around to construct and maintain the equipment is IMO, one of the, if not the most intriguing thing about the backrooms. Unless the monsters are running a supermassive powerplant behind the scenes, I just don't know how electricity even exists in this dimension or why it could form in such way as to remind humans of their technological progress...with no humans present. Maybe its all just a shared delusion? So many questions. Great job.
I made it. I will put together a vaporwave mix/album of all of the tracks found in my backrooms tapes at some point in the future once there's enough tracks for that.
Was that a song you originally made yourself or is there an actual song of it? Really liked the choice of tune you put there. And fantastic work you did too with the backrooms! 👍

@@cen7ury I'm saying that kind of diminishes the work of the people who brave these halls. They could seriously get stuck by nature of the backrooms and you're saying it's all someone's creation for show instead of the dangerous expeditions that these would be.
@@Izak_Klark "the work of the people who brave these halls"....you know its CGI, right? These are all rendered by computers who are operated by talented animators. None of it is real.
@@cen7ury It just feels more fitting to go by r/nosleep rules for most analogue horror stuff. "Treat everything here as if it's real, even if it's not". I know it's fake but it's more fun this way
when you are watching a backrooms video, waiting for the jumpscare and the horror chase - but it never comes, so the tension keeps escalating.
7:16 what is name of that music please?
I need to know, too! Fantastic tune!
We found many strange and beautiful things over the years. If there was a tape or CD playing the music, it may have been recovered by Gate Sync. Sometimes the speakers would play music with no devices connected... I will check through my records to see if I made a copy of it before the program was shutdown. I may release all of the music that was found into an album at some point.
@@gatesyncresearch ...
I love that music, I’ve been telling this Chanel on multiple platforms, received answers about it…. Just record it and make it a song under another name or something, I just need this as a song somewhere
I really love your version of the backroom. It's kind of creepy/chill. Btw what is the name of the music around 7:00?
It's an original track I made for the scene :)
@@gatesyncresearch Oh wow! You very talented! I always comeback to hear it again. Will you do a video with all your song in it , btw? I will easily put 1000 views by myself. :)
I come back to hear it too. 🎶🎵🎹
Great job.
The video is great in the spirit of the theme of subliminal spaces. That song at 6.55 on in is chill and catchy. Who is the artist/song title?
I made it. I will put together a vaporwave mix/album of all of the tracks found in my backrooms tapes at some point in the future once there's enough tracks for that.
I love the concept of sort of an "Executive Backrooms" or "Professionalrooms", early in the video.
Enjoyed that, had a post apocalyptic feel.
7:14 aww vaporwave d
POV: you get lost in backrooms
I love it. Thought about kane - that async tries to make it a living space. That explains the music and the bar area.
1:34 chair on the spotlight
Was that a song you originally made yourself or is there an actual song of it? Really liked the choice of tune you put there. And fantastic work you did too with the backrooms! 👍

@@gatesyncresearch Nice in-world reply
@@gatesyncresearchPlease do. That music was brilliant.
signs of a backrooms video being made in blender:
1. body is invisible. you cant see the arms.
2. the lighting seems off.
3. man idk
What a great environment, great work!
i love how people are saying there aren't any entitys but yall all are wrong at 4:29 theres a shadow on the wall of somthing that the dude clearly evades by turning around so no hes not completely alone
even a soda vending machine.
at 6:57 where can I find that music I love it and the making of this video keep up the good work
The realism of these clips is incredible.
Ooo I’ve got headphones on so it sou ds like I’m actually there! The buzzing of lights goes from one ear to the other
I love it when there is no absurd entity in the backrooms
Creepy and scary, if I were there, I'd want to go home. I love the windows.
at 4.24 a drawer of a person appears on the wall
Is it a person?
First two minutes and I gotta say the exit signs are a brilliant addittion. False promises.
Brilliant when he saw the shadow of someone or something and retreated believable
Wow! This is incredible 😊
👍🏾👍🏾 Totally!! This dude creates Masterpieces.
Ooo what's this?

😆
I love the backrooms they're amazing, it feels like it's in VR
I'm just trying to find out where I can get that jammin music from the end?
I like the sound mixing and ambiance a lot.
4:28 A wanderer? An entity? A research employee? 👀
