@@3bodx274 It's an unreleased track I made specifically for this video. I might release a backrooms vaporwave album at some point when there's enough tracks.🙂
Reminds me of walking through a once-thriving mall that was near the end. There was a vintage arcade that was still open. I looked through the window but wouldn't go in because it would make me too introspective.
Might I add I love the fact you throw music in your videos, definitely a unique and original twist..also, it not being a jump scare like a lot of others do, revives the original idea or "Liminal-horror" feel of the Backrooms. Keep it up, you're videos are awesome!
This was seriously INCREDIBLE! When the wonderer went up the red lit escalator with the red signed exit, I was like, "oh no.....run for your life!" Very bold move of the wonderer. And the look of the Neon Mall was OUTSTANDING! I was left in awe. Seeing the arcades I hope that a next found footage is found entering there! ;)
I found out that Kane Pixel is 17, what the F, I'd only just stopped playing with Lego at that age while He makes a youtube channel with 100 million views from the Backrooms idea expansion.
Arcade Neon liminal space nostalgia in a mall setting gives me unbelievable goosebumps from Hawaii on the big island Hilo side. We have a tilt there that reminded me of this. It makes me feel excited yet freaked out.
Everyone else: *Wow this is so good and creepy and has perfect backrooms vibs!* Me, a dead mall enthusiast: *It’s the same picture.* Just kidding, this looks great! I was instantly drawn to it when I saw mall in the description! You captured the essence of a dead mall with the uneasiness of the backrooms perfectly.
Seriously the best and most underrated Backrooms content on the internet. This is what I think the Backrooms actually would be like, An "corrupted" Version of the real world. Also, That music was great
Really well done. I almost think these should be labeled "liminal space exploration" instead of "backrooms" to separate them from the typical videos of cartoon monsters running through the more familiar office space with yellow wallpaper.
There should be a movie theater too. And have posters of real movies on the walls. And the film 'The Matrix' is playing in one of the theaters, as the Wanderer looks inside. ☺️
I like your take on the backrooms; still creepy, but with a bit of vaporwave nostalgia vibes also. Curious if you'll expand on who Gate Sync are and what their interest in these expeditions is. Just my opinion, but if you can get a stronger depth of field effect and then do a blur or "vhs effect" on the footage it would would line up with your intro aesthetic. You want to suggest that the quality of the carpet grain exists under the noise, without actually showing it.
You know how I know the creator is young? The robot voice reading the text at the beginning lol Real VHS tapes weren't read by a robot voice. But great atmosphere though! I really liked the environments and the vibe.
Has anyone else been going down the rabbithole of the backrooms lately. Its sooo fucking cool and sooo creepy. I mean like where tf are people filming this and/or how are they making such realistic places. Like the backrooms is the only theory/ i think creepypasta that i wouldnt be surprised if it was actually true.
This is definitely a wonderful footage. Plus the more and more these be released the better the outcome. Just hate this channel isn't getting the attention it needs
There's a mall with neon lights IRL that's almost abandoned. It's called Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie Maryland. I was trying to make an IRL Backrooms video there but got booted from the mall for filming there.
Y'all let's get him the amount likes as views let's goooo!!!! Very good content I was on the edge of my seat about to eat breakfast but didn't start until after the video GUD ONE!!!
Really love this video, the environments are awesome, and not only that the sound design is actually really solid too! Only thing is there's no motion blur, and the camera movement is a little too smooth, great video :D
It reminds me of landing at an airport named hamad international airport when I arrived at the airport it was around 10:00 at night after I got off the 787 I went to the transit area where no one was there it was all peace and quiet only very few people I had around 12hours to be there and I saw a very little amount of people few planes and every stores were empty some with 1person all quiet I should have not wanted my time to vibe around
@@gatesyncresearch Awesome!! I suspected that it may have been intentional, but didn't want to assume anything. 😎👍 Love your work BTW. I never received the notification for this one, and it just showed up in my feed last night.
Is that a robot taking the video of the entire facility? How did it manage to go down and up the escalator without falling over? I am so curious. And what does it look like? I couldn’t turn up the volume because of my right ear.
Want to see inside the arcade? Part 2 is coming soon! Subscribe for the disclosure of further tapes. ♾

Exactly. Might add the fact that if you‘d show a speaker or something it would be even better
Yeah, the backrooms themselves are the horrific element, no need for monsters, just being trapped in there all alone is enough

Great expertise in combining the nostalgia of the 90s with the eerie atmosphere of The Backrooms. Keep up the good work!

the nostalgia of the 80s*
Nice work! Great sound design for the escalators! I'll be waiting for part 2!
This is extremely realistic, the sound of the escalator gets louder at the ends of it but sort of quiet in the middle. Just like in real life

Nice touch with the Backrooms signature chevron symbols on the escalator rails.

I cannot get the synthwave out of my head of the Neon Mall. It's too perfect for an 80s mall that has noclipped into the backrooms as its own level.

YES! Agree. This is criminally underrated :/
a corrupted version like if some kind of weird nature generate architectures randomly
Ooh, I like how the regular Backrooms transitioned into storefronts there! Nice detail!
The lighting, design and layout is perfect. It doesn't feel put together, and more like an actual place. 👍
Always like it when its a pure explorartion video.
Really well done. I almost think these should be labeled "liminal space exploration" instead of "backrooms" to separate them from the typical videos of cartoon monsters running through the more familiar office space with yellow wallpaper.
Glad you’ve incorporated vaporwave into this. It really fits the atmosphere
Dang it! Was SO hoping you'd go into the arcade! LOL Thanks for the video. :)
Part two coming soon!
Oh yes!!! My mind and body are ready for this Masterpiece!!! 😄 Your work is Phenomenal. 10/10
Liminal space is one of the best types of horror.

Strange how nearly every mall in the backrooms have empty shops in them...spooky

STRICTLY prohibited. THANK YOU!
I love empty malls. What better than to be in this place. I love the music.
I love the escalators, they almost seem alive. Keen for part 2!

Great work. My compliments to the alien mind or unknowable entity that is influencing the music in this part of the backrooms.
THIS IS SO GOOD!!!!!! Perfect feelings with this video. You're very good and underrated!
I want a full video just on the music! What a bop :)
it's crazy how much of these places I know from my dreams
All the stores in the multiverse in one mall, no one to check you out
So beautiful! You're very clever with your design, graphics, sound, everything! Just amazing!
I'd hate to end up here like all the poor souls who had to record these. At least their footage made it back out of there. Hopefully the people too
Excellent work. Can't wait for the next part! Glad I found your channel.
The fact that the escalator has carpet around it really unsettles me
Does the intro remind anyone of the Dharma Initiative??
I cannot wait for the arcade, my goodness.

The sound of that escalator 👌🏻

I need more neon in this, cyan and pink, a lot of it. And palm trees.

this is totally 90s style!
Sir you are a Perfectionist. The best back room videos there is, n that includes you know who
I find alot of peace in this place.

Software? The backrooms have probably existed forever in some form
Blender obviously

You'll probably get there soon. It won't be what you expect, but that doesn't mean it'll be bad
the brain-dead mall muzak made this a truly horrifying level
What program do you use to animate? And is it hard to make these animations?
