People always complain that they never show all of 2010s fashion but fashion is more affordable now than ever so there is a greater variety in fashion than in previous decades. Galaxy print was everywhere in early 2010s. Camo and gingham was everywhere 2016-2017. Now it's animal print. They can't show everything. People need to relax. Glen plaid is still big.

My friend’s mom was one of THOSE white “woke” early 2000s moms who like, had Buddha statues in her house and wouldn’t let her kid watch Disney movies. Ugh. It’s so cringe.
Anyways, my friend wanted to buy a pair of camo pants and her mom was like “noooo it glorifies the army!” And my friend was like “chill mom, it’s just a pattern”
And I know this story because my friends mom told it to my mom once while we were all out at lunch together. She was so proud of her daughter, she was like “it really made me wake up and realize, yes, it is just a pattern. It was then that I realized my daughter was reclaiming a harmless pattern that has been taken over by the war machine”

What was with the 50's outfit? Could you really not get a proper length petticoat? Honestly no petticoat would have been better than one that is too short and creates that flat band around the bottom. And what was with the scarf? Turbans (which looked completely different) were popular in the 40's. In the 50's women would tie scarfs over their curlers to protect them while setting, but it was tied with the ends at the top of the forehead completely covering the hair. Even then it was something worn only around the house, to be seen in public with your hair like that would have been an embarrassment for most, and certainly was not fashionable. I love the idea of teaching fashion history, being a huge fashion history enthusiast myself. But if you are going to do it, please do it properly!

Please do proper research on fashion history videos, first off this is 100 years of patterns which means a design that is either woven or knitted into the fabric. Many of garments they are showing are prints because they are place on top of the surface of the fabric not woven or knitted into the fabric. I am currently a fashion student at FIT and taking one textile class or some general knowledge would have helped the research of this video.

For the '50s or '60s, I thought they say the poodle skirts, cause the movie Greece made them really popular at that time.

The skirt used in the 1950's one shouldn't have a petticoat, and the petticoat is also way too short:) Use a full circle skirt that is the same length next time you're doing 1950's clothing!

I think people that love the past’s fashion would like to feel the everyday effortless class of the style back then. The 60’s killed my fashion taste. But hey, I respect those who like it. I personally love the style of the 40’s and 50’s.

the 2010's are suspicious because I don't feel that really captures the era we are still in bc its had so many different print phases.
