I am 58 and anything that Carole King does reminds me of the coolest teacher I ever had. Her name was Joan Saunders. She was fresh out of College and got a Lead Teacher job in my School District to replace a teacher that planned to travel around the World. I still think of her as the most influential person of my youthful life. I was 6 years old and the War was happening and was really bad. She was into Peace, Freedom for all, The Ecology, and treating people the right way. She taught us that everyday. The best part is she filled in for my First Grade year, and did such a great job that she got hired. Then, I had her again in Third Grade. She is part of why I am who I am today. I am a Humanitarian. I am an activist for the Environment and am against War and believe nothing that our Government (USA) says about anything. God Bless you Mrs. Joan Saunders, wherever you are. It’s really rare we can see the original recording members of the best album in 1971, Tapestry. I’m thrilled watching this. This brings back me to when I was a high school boy.
I agree! She is a brilliant songwriter, the equal of McCartney, Paul Simon and Brian Wilson. Tapestry is a magnificent album - every song utterly wonderful.

Thank God for YOU TUBE . To allow us all to express our feelings about this exceptional music created by a unique one of a kind individual Carole King .
Tapestry was the first Album I bought. Played it non-stop . This music was new, exciting and there was so much going on in the music industry at the time. It was a very creative time. And a precurser of things to come. But a lot of interesting artists and music have evolved since then. Music is perpetual.
This song always brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it and even more so since now I am getting divorced and it hits so painfully close to home. During the summer of my break up. I was walking through the store at a Fred Meyer and this song came on and I just had to leave and go to my car and weep.

Beautiful lady.
Real Music
Classic Forever.
She has a great smile
@@danielvasquez8830 Carole King si es una diva.
This lady is a true music icon. Simply a stellar musician.
Brings tears to my eyes. It reminds me how I felt before my divorce. We were circling the drain, caught in a gravity well. No escape
Time will heal what reason cannot. I'm sure I'm echoing the sentiment of everyone who reads your comment when I say may you find peace and happiness again.
Absolutely legend in action. Just thrilled to see how the legend played it live ...
The date was 10 Feb 1971, exactly the one when Tapestry was released. The program must be a seminal, monumental event for BBC.
Love Carole King she was always one of my favorites and still is today. God bless you beautiful Carol
Lotta class, talent, elegance. God Bless you Carole
It’s really rare we can see the original recording members of the best album in 1971, Tapestry. I’m thrilled watching this. This brings back me to when I was a high school boy.
All it takes is a piano, a guitar and an amazing singer! Fills your soul!
Amen to that
And a bass player. These guys always go unnoticed.
Never tired of hearing her voice, her lyrics, her music, they stir up so many memories and new feelings
Thank You Carole King for all the years of fantastic songs.
Beautiful..... truly beautiful.... thank you so much for sharing ..... please keep up the good work ....
In my opinion this album is up there with Sgt. Peppers and Pet Sounds as one of the most important and influential recordings in RnR History.
I agree! She is a brilliant songwriter, the equal of McCartney, Paul Simon and Brian Wilson. Tapestry is a magnificent album - every song utterly wonderful.
yea her album is tops. called Tapestry.
And Something/Anything by Rundgren.
Rolling Stone agrees. They rated it number 25 of all time in the most recent best albums list. Classic album.
I definitely agree
I started listening to Carole King when I was 15. Now I'm 62. Been preaching in Baptist churches for 33 years. Still love her music. She is a sweetheart.

The early seventies Brooklyn in this song is positively palpable.
Yes this song still breaks my heart when I hear it. I had just come from my girlfriend's house. We broke up. Driving home I turned on the radio to cheer me up. Only to to have this song perfectly start when I turned the radio on. I cranked it up and cried my heart out. Great song.

You didn't just make a song..., you made a tattoo on our hearts. Thanks for this !!!

That guitar solo is awesome! Nice and clean sounding, which is perfect for the song.
I've owned Tapestry on vinyl, cassette, CD, and MP3. It's still a perfect album.
Beautiful song lovely lady brings back memories a real classic
Takes me back to my teenage years! Loved her! Never dreamed I'd be playing her song at my moms memorial service "you've got a friend"
So sorry for your loss. 🙏
Carol. Absolutely beautiful!. Don’t pay any attention to the thumbs down You are pure magic ! Thanks for the beautiful music
Great performance!! Happy Birthday Carole! (Feb 9th). Today is 50th Anniversary of the release of her legendary album 'Tapestry'. The Rock n' Roll Hall Of Fame is the next honor for Carole King!
Sorry to hear of your troubled times, I hope things have gotten better for you. Best wishes on the journey ahead.
@@albertawheat6832 Thank you for your kind words
@@NS-fo2br Np, Just have to inquire when I see a post like yours, Glad to hear you are alright... Cheers and take care.

This lady is an absolute treasure, misic will always find a way of being unique but this is genuine
Nice to hear Danny “Kootch” Kortchmar here, not drowned out by other musicians.
Grew up hearing this as a kid, never saw her or was sure who sang this. She sounds incredible, such an ear caressing voice, so easy going and smooth.
I love this song ,when I was 10 was giving this tapestry álbum and i listened to it many many times Every single day ! Thanks a lot Mrs Carole King
Why can’t we have this kind of music anymore these days?
もお40n
Because they won’t let grown ups release music anymore
It’s right here!
This is what happens when you allow 5 or 6 mega corporations + the tech giants and ticketmaster to control the mass production and distribution of music and art in general.
We do, it's just not played on the radio.
Brings tears as I enter the end of my ten year relationship 😢
❤
😢
Guitarist did Carole's creation a fine treatment of musical artistry in the solo.
What a captivating chord it was done in.
Yes, Danny "Kootch" is an excellent guitarist! I love how Carole King jams with him singing certain chords as Danny plays them! So pure & beautiful:) A treasure only found on this Live version! Danny "Kootch" performs on many of Carole's albums! Carole King Is soo talented & she chose the best to accompany her:) Carole King, Congrats on the 50th anniversary of Tapestry & your 2021 Oct Induction into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame! So well deserved! Thank you, Carole King, for sharing your God given talents making this a better world!🌸🦋
