Learn to play a one guitar version of the classic tune Beast Of Burden by The Rolling Stones. Great lesson and great playing! Any chance you can show us how to play this with open chords instead of barre chords for us less talented “advanced beginners”? One of these days I hope to be able to play barre chords without mangling them. I am barre chord challenged😢Thank you

The song is in C#minor, which is the relative minor key of E major, so it uses the chords in E major. E, F#minor, G#minor, A, B, C#minor D#diminish. C#minor scale is: C♯, D♯, E, F♯, G♯, A, and B. But E major is E, F♯, G♯, A, B, C♯, and D♯. What mode is it in since it starts on the B.

Hi - the guitar I am playing in this lesson is a Taylor GS5 model with cedar top and tropical american mahogany back and sides. I bought this guitar many years ago and Taylor no longer makes this model, but you can find some on the used markets - try reverb or ebay perhaps.
