When I was 9 or ten, back in the early sixties, a friend of mine showed me his mom's Rolling Stones album. They looked like they didn't give a shit. I liked that. Now, at 63, and many Stones concerts, worn out LPs, 45s, 8Tracks, cassettes, CDs, and whatever next may come, they still captivate me. They truly are The World's Greatest Rock & Roll Band. Rock & Roll is important.

You can tell how they stayed together for so long. They genuinely enjoy each other’s company; and it shows in the music especially in Keith’s and Ronnie’s layered guitar textures. Mick just makes being a frontman’s role look smooth and effortless.

They were well off initially cause of the hits hit bad deals, evil managers, and taxes left them broke and almost bankrupt . They almost immediately broke up when they could make it on their own. If micks solo records were doing sting numbers he would be a solo artist and break up the stones. With out a doubt.

The Stones swing so hard for a rock band, and that's largely the legacy of Wyman and Watts (though Daryl Jones and Steve Jordan are excellent choices for successors).
I think Micks vocals in this song are just so amazing and versatile, he can go from something tender/ cute to something rough and strong "all I want is you to make love to me" and then the "pretty pretty pretty girls" part... there is no one in the world that could have done that !

I saw them May 11th here in Vegas at the Allegiant Stadium and I almost lost my mind!!!!! I screamed so loud, “I LOVE YOU KEITH!!!” And bc I work for MGM…my friend got me the best seats ever!! My pictures and videos are just unbelievable!!! I look at them everyday and I watch this video every single day NO BS!!!! I can’t determine if I love the stones or the Beatles the best, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE STONES AND I LOVE THE BEATLES!! I saw McCartney at T-Mobile Arena in June 2019 and I cried like a baby!!!! I was actually at this concert. There next stop was Houston. I was there also. This was my favorite era of the Stones. They played on a smaller stage and aside from Wyman who always stood off by himself, were all together. I still am crazy about them and never miss the chance to see them. But, to some extent the production has become as important as the music. Anyone that loves the Stones and missed them in this era missed a lot.
john9944 The big difference is from the tour in 81 to the steel wheels tour in 89! It's not just a band anymore, its a orchestra. If you watch some clips from Mick Jagger's solo tour in 87 or so, I believe it answers how that came in place almost by itself.
