Playing this for my old man who passed away today. July 29th, 2022 RIP Pop.
So very sorry for your loss!!! 💔
@@adrienneparks9791 Thank you, I appreciate it!
Reminds me of my mom and RIP to your father
There's a fever in the funkhouse now

Yes stone tjrs
Live in Texas
And I thought that the Beatles were an English band! ha ha ha
***** _It is that someone deleted the post that was there before saying that the Beatles were the United States! ha ha ha_
+The Rolling Stones I said these lyrics today as knowing thats the best part of this song.
Shake it ❤🎉my friends. This is talent. Hugs to everyone.❤😊
Good old song i. Listening at 64 year old
If this song isn't played at my funeral I'm not showing up for it..
Quiero lo mismo, Jajaja .Es la síntesis musical de los Stones para mi gusto
👍😄
Phish does the best cover of Tumbling dice.
@@a_bored_english_guy
"Dead Flowers"...
I committed it to my funeral procession, 50 years ago..and it cannot budge 💝😜
Anyone claiming mick "sucked" in this live version doesn't know a thing about Rock N' Roll. The spontaneity and recklessness of rock n roll is pouring out in this video. Great performance by Jagger and the Stones
Gage Horn Jagger's fantastic in this
Gage Horn Yeah you're right bud, Jagger is unbelievable here
GAGE HORN agree
gage I totally agree with you! My favorite version of this song 💎
Yeah..Mick is working his ass off here. Really playing to the crowd. He is acting out the lyrics almost more than singing them here, getting the song out to the crowd. Especially on the "Some Girls" material. Taking it very seriously. This is also about the last year the Stones were still a depraved rock band. Just starting to be accepted by society. Still had some outsider status living the rich, degenerate rock star's life.
For pure unapologetic rock n roll there is the Stones then everybody else😂 Man what a band!!!!❤
If ever there was a quintessential Stones track, lyrics, feel, etc... Tumbling Dice must be up there, at the top of so many of their songs. That whole album, Exile.., got under my skin when it came out and I got it.. 72, 73...and never let me go...my overall favourite album of all rock ..and it's not because other albums are of less quality.. but because Exile never got boring (but for 2 tracks), has more staying fresh power, than anything else I ever listened to for 50 years.
'Exile On Main Street' is the greatest rock album of all time. Nothing can touch it. I love all the Stones records, but Exile is the most raw, twisted, and gritty Stones album.
'Exile' stands alone. BTW, every time I hear the intro I always say to myself " ca..mon Mick!"
What tracks boring?
Favorite stones album. So many good songs. Shine a light, casino boogie, happy,
@@MH-yr4zl The entire album shines. I put it on and listen to the whole thing start to finish. I love those songs that you mentioned as well. 'Shine A Light', to me, is like classical music or something.
The first Stones Concert I gotta see was their 1972 "Stones Tour Party" (Exile on Main Street) in June at the LA Forum, at age 16. That tour was full of problems.
1978's "Some Girls" Concert was at Anaheim Stadium, where we were able to sit on a blanket in the outfield grass nice and close to the stage. A crowd of 60,000 and the Mezzanine began to bounce up and down from people stomping their feet, scared the crap out of many.
At the 2016 Coachella Festival, Mick referred to the Show as The Geriatric Festival. Mick and Keith were 73 years old at the time.
*Rock and Roll never grows old*
Mick Mother Fucking Jagger..... Wow. The dude can front a band. Damn.
He and Steven Tyler are the best of the best.
Who the fuck is Mick Jagger?
@@hendrikjanriesebos1293 Your thinking of jick magger
@@PersonmadudeRailwayProductions i was thinking of Keefs exquisite taste, when it comes to t shirts
@@hendrikjanriesebos1293 oh
I wondered why both guitar players ran away from him at 1:13. Then I saw what happened at 2:06 and realized MIck is also a Proctologist. The man is an incredible multitasker! :-)
These events have usually been deleted from videos. I noticed its always Ron and never Keith.
@@dorothycarlson2462 haha yeah noticed that too. poor ronnie getting molested by mick
Why did he do that with ron, what the secret message behind it? Someone knows? Maybe it has something to do with his guitar-solo and acting while play a solo?
hilarious comment i didnt know what you meant just by reading your comment, but when i watched the 1.13 part, then the 2.06 part - that was hilarious. poor ronny.
Proctologist?? If your seeing a Proctologist and he’s playing with your junk you’d better get another MD!
The single greatest rock band in the history of life, the universe and, well, everything.
Queen and The Stones ftw
100% !
Yes, the Beatles are. But the Rolling Stones were really great, too.
Seriously, you're right. But I use the term Rhythm and Blues. These are the only people who still play it right.
@@gordeauxd Beatles were only a boy band compared to these guys :)
These guys are like something from another planet. They make it look easy; everybody is in great shAPE.
I’m feeling fortunate that I saw Rolling Stones in concert before our beloved Charlie left us. ❤️🥺
Me too man, I've seen them way back in 1998 at the Malieveld in The Hague, and at Pinkpop Festival in Landgraaf in 2016 (I recorded the entire show that evening and put it on cd)
Bill's is on top of that bass part , it's perfect for the song. He really knows what he's doing
Nothing like cruising down Ocean Parkway, Long Island New York in my 68' Ford with this version cranking! Thanks for posting, Thank You Stones! and many blessings to all! -Matt
Awesome when Bill's bass kicks in at 2:59
This is one of the really sovereign grooves.
Charlie and Bill swinging, Keith and Woody weaving, Ian tickling the keys, and Mick barking out the words in his inimitable style. God, they were great.
My gawd, he's a genius just to remember all those lyrics! My favorite Stones tune.
Fantastic
Pure Rock n Roll
The last tour when they were just a band.
Later it became a Celebration, and this is part of that reason
The 78 tour showed us all the Stones could still Rock with the Punk Movement...
Beautifully put 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
He is being typical Mic here!!! The good front man he is and why everyone loves him!!!😘 Ronnie and Keith are weaving here. Love seeing Bill Wyman!!! Everyone was so young here but still looking and sounding extremely good here!!!
Yes, this tour seemed to be the best since Mick Taylor left the band. after Mick T left they tried to redefine themselves.... This tour and album were the Stones 3rd or4th GREAT achievement..
This has to be one of my favorite songs 🎵 ❤️, mick u and keith just keep making hit after hit, your song writing will go down in history as a true work of art🎉🎉
I love this performance. "Some Girls" Texas 1978 was one of the most impressive concert.
Yes fact
Texas 1975 is not bad too.
Yeah no one was into it.. Jagger tried to get the crowd going and no one bothered!
Their best performance on record, by far.
The best of British music
So awsome. Ive been watching this back and forth between Mick Jagger and Paul Mccarney lately. Paul said the Stones copied The Beatles and they were a blues cover band. This is nothing like the Beatles. The Stones are Rock and Roll as far as im concerned and The Beatles dont hold a candle to them.
Getting old McCartney becomes frustrating cause the Stones are still around, he have to talk about 50 years ago with the Beatles.
Agreed
Stones didn't come close to the beatles and let it bleed copied let it be and stones first ever release was a beatles song I wanna be your man
@@grahamodoherty768Let It Be came out a year after Let It Bleed, no?
It’s ok to like both you know…
Charlie's shuffle and transition into the outro is so subtle and beautiful.
I like the rawness of this version of Tumbling Dice. It sounds similar to the version on Love You Live, which i enjoy.
Happy Birthday , Sir Mick. Best wishes for the next 80years and keep on rollin'.
No one could ever have the energy and charisma he does!
Just one...Keith
In an interview, I heard Keith say that writing songs for Mick was a treat coz it was like writing for a person with the voice control of Maria Callas and the showmanship of James Brown.
Steve Susoyev that’s cool news!
Uhhh yeah anyone can if they are on crack. He’s literally just high. Not a very good thing
it's called marching powder.
OMG yes he goes for the right notes. What a champ. You did good Mick. So groove.
One of my three or four favorite Stones songs. One of these days I'd love to hear him sing it in English.
🤣🤣🤣
What?????
Bro you just rolled the stones 💀
Are they singing in English? Can't place theur accents.
Swagger, pout, snarl, sway, jump, swivel, point......that's Mick!
Music 🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶❤❤❤
love always
The Rolling Stones - Tumbling Dice - (Live) - OFFICIAL 1978
Great version of a song that never gets old !!!!
never
I totally agree! The song "Tumbling Dice" is my favorite song!!! I love many other songs that are my favorite!! "TUMBLING DICE" IS LEGENDARY!! ♥️🎲♥️🎲♥️🎲♥️😊🎸🎶
The Texans got their money's worth that night.
Will Thurgood indeed
damn right they did
It's called "Fort Worth" for a reason!
@@NiePieerdol the Stones always rocked Texas. Most of the footage from the 72 Tour film is from Texas.
I agree!!!😃👍
Jagger is really earning his pay here -- great front man attitude and about the best singing Mick can do outside the studio.
Definitely. I almost went to the 81' show at age 13. Saw 89' 94' 2000 2003 & 2006, and 94' at the Rose Bowl and 2000 at the Anaheim Pond (Now Honda Ctr) were the best. IMO Jagger "IS" the best front man ever, but show biz or not I wouldn't like him grabbing my satchel like he does' Ron Woods at 2:10 but whatever. Have watched this vid quite a few times and never noticed.
it feels like he was made to be a live front man.. he really eats up the crowd attention and he's such an incredible entertainer :)
Esta canción es monstrifera, adoro a los Rolling Stones. 🎸🎸🎸
26.07.2023 :

Mick you are the one and only - Always a great performance!!!
3:53 - 3:58 doing a great Van Morrison impression lmao
Been with Mick and Keith since I was a little boy. Rock on fellas!
the absolute greatest in rock and roll history
I was seventeen and driving home and tumblin dice was played for the first time on my radio. I had to pull over and groove right there on the side of the main road thru Blackheath in the Blue Mountains. Loved it ever since.
Fever in the funk house now
AWESOME
Bloody marvellous
This song represents to me life is a tumble of the Dice as the days bring thoughts comming to you, bringing physical action. 'You got a Roll me"
Love that tee....
The perpetual Mr. Jaggggggger!!!!
NIce voice & good action , Mick's vocal is super indeed.....
Brutal... Just too good. The Stones on fire, on shape, unreachables
Nice to hear Mick singing in Esperanto
I always wondered how anyone ever figured out any Stones lyrics were offensive. You'd have to understand them first. 🤦😂
Love Bill Wyman's bass playing
This version is punkish and still great but the seminal version in the '72 Ladies and Gentlemen!
What a great song.. I love the Stones
Masterpiece
The smaller the place, the better they play, the better they sound.
j adore!
yeah both fantastic guitarists
Greatest !
Raw Rock n Roll doesn't get much better 👅
right on brother i have 2 kids 13 and 15,and the both said thank you for turning them on to real music..rock on!

Love this song
WOW! Espectacular mi banda favorita son unicos saludos The Rolling Stones desde San José Barquisimeto Venezuela..!
Some serious fever in the funk house
What a song.
If this ain't rock'n'roll I don't know what it is... :-)
There is something about this song that brings me to church and a dive bar at that the same time. Heal me 🤗😍👐🙏🫶
This is how I much preferred to see the Rolling Stones. Just the essential members of the band and without an additional army of backing players. Just a band and not an orchestra. They still bring the fire every night, however. May the dice continue to tumble!!
¡Que Joya! el ritmo que daba Wayman era impresionante.
Thank God! This amazing video it's back!
Longa vida ao Rolling Stones...!
wow! Espectacular banda mi favorita, saludos desde San josé Barquisímeto Venezuela.
This performance is so good!!!
Még mindig fantasztikus...
Mantap
this was what it was about in the dope smoking days of the late 70 s wish we could all go back just for a little bit.
Los sigo amando.
RIP Charlie Watts.
I hope he introduce himself because he was a man of wealth and taste.
Another awesome song of the Rolling Stones Story! Thanks
Love Mick!
Brilliant concert this one, Keef was on fire 🔥
