Exile on main Street is the best Stones record ever. And Sweet Virginia as well as Tumbling Dice are my all time favorites for 50 yrs now. Thank you, Justin for a great beginner lesson.
This is a Gem of a song, Guitar from Keith then was pure gold. Hard song to sing to, You done a good job But only Mick & Keith give it the raw power it has.
Very well done, guitar sounds wonderful and the singing is great. Now that is how you're gonna get me to go watch that 44 min How to Sing and Not Suck video of yours.
Many thanks for the super thanks and supporting the channel. It means a lot. Cheers 😊 | Richard_close2u | JustinGuitar Official Guide & Approved Teacher www.justinguitar.com
Well, this is quite a challenge! Finally after many weeks of practice, it is coming together. I’m finding that the bandwidth required to play it precludes singing along. Per Ardua ad Virginia!
Love this lesson, definitely persevering until I can play this. Finding it more difficult if you don’t your G’s and C’s with the same fingering as Justin does here and VERY difficult to retrain my hands for a G and C shape!

Ugh..the intro and linked chords for Sweet Virginia are by far the most difficult instruction of all your great videos I have tried. It is a bit confusing on my part because I don’t know the names of strings / chords. Is it possible you can rework a slower / deliberate video where you just tell us what string to pluck on what fret? Maybe include an over lapping / transparent as you go along slower. I like how you incorporate the name of the chords - instead of lyrics. Thanks for all you do.

Would you know how to play Alone again naturally by Gilbert o'sullivan on guitar there are several people playing this on u tube but they're all different ,some capo at 1st fret some at 2nd one at 4th fret some with no capo all using different strumming patterns most don't match the original recording ,some partially do but not all. Anyhow would like to see the correct way done with chords ,If you ever have time to do this ...

From what i can think up in my head. It would likely be 'Because it sounds good'. But its just the minor ii chord. Being changed to a Major II Chord. The C becomes a C#. I dont know much about the 'why'. But you can also have a Major III chord and a minor vi chord, which are borrowed chords from the parallel keys
It doesn't. It is an 'out-of-key' chord. A borrowed chord. It is borrowed from the parallel G minor key. This is sometimes called modal mixture too. community.justinguitar.com/t/using-borrowed-chords-introduction-examples/152037/ Cheers 😊 | Richard_close2u | JustinGuitar Official Guide & Approved Teacher
I shouldn't use some ones tag without asking but I am going to. Privettricker does this so close to the original it's not funny. You probably have seen it. Not taking a thing away from you, Justin.

Hola :)
I don’t understand how the A fits in the key? 🤔
