Man I am glad you did! Back during the early 2000s, I heard of them through my friend from NC. He gave me some of their songs and really blew my mind. Please check out their albums particularly “The Listening,” and “The Minstrel Show.”

That last Little Brother album is so good. I hope that kind of laid-back style of rap becomes popular again, because the old groups are getting old and we probably won't have many more albums from them.

I'm not familiar with Little Brother, I don't listen to much hip-hop, but I want to hang out with these guys.
If there is one hip hop group a non rap listener should listen to gain appreciation for the genre it's these guys. No exaggerating.
I’d start with The Listening and The Minstrel Show. Both of those albums are their best work.

How is reading a rapper’s biography a waste of time when you’re a rapper? They’re also both involved in helping run labels, executive producing other artists’ albums, or managing other artists’ careers. That’s their craft and line of work. Not a waste of time at all for them.
