I loved this comparison video! When it started i was like YEAH LETTTSS GOOOOO! as an owner of the same samurai i totally get the how its not balanced and the strap comfort. Thats why i got mine on a pvd strapcode bracelet. I think that with many products having the brands name on it increases the price. Sometimes it's a good product like the samurai but sometimes its awfull like moonwatch and the fifty.. I love the stealthy and unique look of it, i think this one is for someone who really wants this specific peice.. Thank you for your honest opinion and a great video! Night Vision KS owner and have to say I love it - the green dayglow lume is very unique and the watch glistens nicely with the ceramic bezel. I also love the Adamascus and have been thinking about picking up a bronze blue dial version. Not there yet because I struggle to pick a favourite colourway. The seiko works better on a thick two piece nylon strap over the rubber (the buckle is too big IMHO) - one with green stitching if you want more pop.
I mean it's hard not to be smug when you get so much quality for the money just because you couldn't care less about the label on the dial, right?! Thank you for watching and I hope you'll wear the watches in good health!
@@watchyawant Absolutely OK again. For many people, having an expensive watch with a known badge is a sign of success, why not but it is not my case. I am a lover of beautiful watches and I fuck the brand, I have about fifteen watches that range from 100 € to 1000 € and I would never put more to have the right time, it’s already a lot a thousand euros right ? With Wise we are lucky to have beautiful and already very precise watchmaking at ‘’affordable’’ prices and I admire this kind of challenge because I think it is more complicated to sell that watches at 10, 20, see 30000 € and more with movements certainly more efficient, and then ?

The one thing that I cannot get past with most Seiko watches is the irritating "wave bump" on the back of the watch. It feels like they glued a penny onto the back. Why? They have begun to sink the bump into the watch back on some new models, creating a relatively flat back.
There were several times I almost bought the Seiko. But the Wise would be the better choice. You should do more comparisons like this. The big companies shouldn't have a free ride on name alone.

If it wasn't for that darn bezel, your Wise would've been close to perfect, but I gotta say, for the right wrist, that King Samurai is a looker, a stealthy one at that :). In any case, for me one of the Street Series Seiko Tunas would be the best size for a Prospex diver replacement. Loved the review!
You scored bezel action 10/7 for Seiko because ½ click back play and alignment issues are consistent? No way Seiko was a 10 and Wise lost 3 points on stiffness. How about -2 points for the Seiko's back play & alignment, and -1 (not 3) for the Wise being stiff. That should've read 9/8 to Wise.
In the quest to not build a 1 brand watch collection (Seiko) lol i have to say, I really like what wise is doing. Want to pick one up but now im torn between that beautiful AD8 on a bracelet or the 39mm AD9 meteorite with rose gold on the bracelet… i know they’re not really compareable but which one did you like more? Also, thanks for the content!
I’m gonna throw a curveball and say AD7. Unfortunately they don’t have a bracelet for it yet, but that watch has the perfect looks! Of the two models you’ve mentioned, having owned both (albeit a different configuration for the AD9M), I would not think twice and pick the AD8, it’s just fantastic.

I know you mentioned the bracelet for the AD7 but if its anything like the development/production process on the ad9 and ad8 bracelets, it wont come out until 2025 lol and I can’t wait that long. I ended up pulling the trigger on a black ad8 because I’m a Basic B*tch and have too many blue dial divers. Still looking at that darker meteorite dial AD9 with the rose hands. Looks like its a lot easier to read in outdoor lighting. Anything in this sports/OP style that you’d recommend checking out? I hear good things about the Pitzmann but is a bit more than Im tying to spend. The hardest part about some of these micro brands in the inability to touch/see the product in person before buying….
As I said, I don’t want to go back on their website 😆 but I know they have many options when ordering. Plus, of course, being a microbrand I am sure if you drop an email they will be very accommodating.

100% agree with you. I just bought the AD770 and AD840 bronze 3 days ago and look forward for them. Maybe in 3 weeks. 👍🙂

try DIvecore straps. They will give you those microadjustments you are looking for and can support the 2.5mm fat springbars

I own 2 Samurais, so I'm biased. I really want the night vision. The Wise is nice, but I doubt if I would choose it for ownership over the Sam.
