I bought this watch 5 days ago with a different dial (Blue in the centre with Black edges). The build quality is brilliant and it keeps accurate time to withing 1 second a day. To me the watch is perfect and wouldn't change a thing. The polished steel helps it stand out making it a perfect dress/diver. Was unsure about the pattern dial, but when you see it in person it looks better. If they make a bracelet, I think a beads of rice style would suit this watch. We'll worth the money.
Not only the watch look gorgeous, you can keep the wooden box for (at least) 4 more watches to put in, making it a great watch box. Now that's what i call good package! PS As i'm a big fan of perlon straps, i dare you to put it on one, lately i started getting white ones and paint them with pen ink, coffee and other pigments... try it...
No doubt the 904L gives the watch a luster that you just don't get with 316L, and from what you say the build quality is top tier, however it just doesn't appeal to me. I think the pattern on the dial is where it falls down for me. I cant help thinking that a well made sunburst would look better, especially with an applied logo. Looks obviously are subjective, I'm sure this will appeal to many. Thanks for sharing Will.
I love my hitman. As far as I can tell its flawlessly finished and assembled. I like this but its a bit too 'bling' for my tastes. Would be interested in seeing it if they broke up the polishing with some brushed surfaces. maybe top of the lugs or a brushed centerline along the mid-case. I guess they just want to maximize the impact of the 904L.

@@SaSpursFan should look good. Cognac tends to go with most colours. I'm wearing my watch on a black nato (single pass), and it still looks classy.
