short cuts almost always result in more problems and its not worth the risk with how expensive deisel engine repairs are.
some ive worked on block the egr system all by themselves with oil+exhaust soot, oil catch cans can save alot of problems as long as the accumulated oil in the catch can cant make its way back into the engine and cause hydraulic lock and seriously damage the engine.
how do the injectors get damaged, springs,seals or just carbonize, maybe regular use of a suitable injector cleaner in the fuel tank could help a little, i do know some cars dont like injector cleaner additives though.

Hi all i have a nissan navara d40 2009 modle it gets a shutter in it between 80 and 100klm in 5 gear witch is overdrive change gear and its not there changed mounts and torque coverter still there need help please

I have d40 2010 nissan navara my problem is when i travel at a distance of about 30kms my truck begins to lose power and emit black smoke, i pressume it is overheating but the temp gauge is halfway..can you give advice for that matter, i am from the Phils. thank you..
Hi ,found your channel really helpful,i have a navara D40 on a 12 plate had the chassis work done by Nissan, it's my livelyhood ie.self employed builder and single dad of 2 (budget really tight) ,please would you be kind enough to advise me ,i started getting black smoke under load ie.on hill etc.,I don't tow, yesterday I took to my local garage who said warm it up ,so i took it up the dual carraige way and the throttle stuck on ,it revved so much the key wouldnt even stop it, so much smoke i couldnt see to exit the vehichle safely and had to trace the truck side to escape the smoke and panic that it would explode as was engine racing like a lunatic. it finally stopped but wold not start again after .the car is with them but I'm unsure their skilset will cover the navara issues .If the trucks knackered so am i pretty much, still paying back my mum who lent me the money for it .happy provide as much info as possible but please advise if able suspected issues and potential costs ,thankyou so much
cheapest repair will be a used unit about 2k

hi des its frank from glasgow here. i spoke to you on the phone about doing a chain upgrade for me soon. unrelated to this video but needing a bit of advice. would it be possible if you could do a video on the location of the dip stick location for the auto transmission on a euro 5. you told me last time we spoke but still can't find it and local main dealer (nissan) lol were out at the navara and couldn't find it also. so glad i witnessed that as navara will never be in there. so if you could do a short video on location that would be fantastic. also could you tell me if this transmission has a filter. thanks. frank.

Hi Frank there is no dip stick on the euro 5 bud the oil is supposed to last the life of the gear box and look forward to meeting you in the future Many Thanks Des.

Been a massive fan of the channel and a loyal subscriber to you for sometime.
I’ve have a 2006 r51 parthfinder!! it’s blowing black smoke out of the exhaust and when I come to a red light, the car doesn’t go over 2000 Rpm then I have to turn the car off and then back on so annoying! I definitely go in limp mode all the time now when I’m on the freeway, it’s okay around Town. It drives like a pig and it chews up a lot of diesel When we put the scanner on, it does not show any fault. Can someone please help.

Put a suction control valve and a fuel return pressure valve on it that should do the job if not new injectors

hi i am from sri lanka. my nissan navara 2007 turbo spits a lot of oil in the intercooler, and puts out a lot of black smoke when launching from stand still. What do you think i shoud check?

Here in Russia - we dont need DPF`s =D removal of DPF and full EGR system was one of my first job when i get my Navara
Greetings from Yakutia. My Navara (2007) goes really slow and has a black smoke from 1000-2000 rpm. But after 3000 rpm it goes like a normal. I thougth it might be catalizator but in car-service they said that it is okay. 🤔
