Our pediatrician came to our house for the first visit. She started her own practice and does home visits! 😍😍 It was sooo convenient for us.

My due date was 5 days ago and I’m still waiting for my newborn 😅 Hopefully we’ll be doing this first visit within a few days! Good timing, and thank you!

Can you guys talk about the great wipe debate? It seems to come up in every online mom group, if baby wipes should be used at every diaper change or skipped if it was urine only. Does it change depending on the type of diaper or if diaper rash cream was applied? It feels like a silly thing, but it is often hotly debated.

I love your channel and I truly appreciate all of the information you share. It saddens me that our society has made it acceptable to reduce mothers to “birthing people”

I wish health care providers would also check in on the non-gestational parent. My partner developed postpartum depression which was a surprise and no one at these appointments bothered to check.

That’s called depression and not PPD. PPD happens in people who gave birth and it has to do with the change of hormones after giving birth.

Can you guys do an episode on HG?
Or other things that make pregnancies high risk, like pre-eclampsia?
I appreciate your videos. Thank you

My baby projectile pooped 4 ft across the room 10 minutes before we had to leave for the first appointment, and I still had to change my own diaper and get dressed 😅 Thank god my mom was staying with us and could clean up while we rushed out the door. It was a doozy.

We really like your videos and congrats on your little baby.
    I have a question
I'm 45 years old and 10 weeks pregnant naturally, with baby no2.
I like to ask what is the max folic acid dose I can take,
before pregnancy, I talked 800 mcg, and when I got pregnant I talked 1200 mcg now I'm 10 weeks I'm thinking to go back to 800 mcg.
I do this because of my age and I had 2 miscarriages before.

My daughter had a marker for CF during her newborn screen. We had to go get a sweat test and it was determined she did not have CF. I had done some research that the marker for CF can be wrong up to 9/10 times. Have you seen/heard similar experiences with your experience in peds care?

Really find your guys content beneficial- much gratitude.
Just a quick Q if you have a moment.
Any advice/ recommendations on potential placental insufficiency. The lady is at 17 weeks and baby is about 7 days behind normal development per US measurements..
Is the placenta pretty much formed early after implantation, or can lifestyle efforts affect its current placental trajectory? Thank you again

Hello to you guys. I am an uncle who takes care of his great nieces and nephews. I can't say thank you enough for the information that you provide to anyone, not only parents, who cares for infants. When my sisters leave the kiddos with me I have phone numbers and contact information should anything go south. Your channel has provided some great insight into a myriad of scenarios that have answered so many questions for me and have headed off many unnecessary calls to mom and dad. I get to spend time with the children that will be fleeting as they get older, and their parents enjoy their time together without interruption. Thanks again for the best vlogs (my humble opinion) out their for parents and/or their stand ins. Peace and blessings 🙏

We struggled with weight in those first week or 2. My son lost 11% within the first 4 days of life. It was scary. Our pediatrician had us come everyday for weight checks. Thankfully, he gained it fast. We fed every 2 hours 😴 but I’m curious, what would happen if he didn’t gain weight? NICU admission?
