I read this comment as I listened to his honest, intelligent, fair comments on security risks. I couldn't understand why you'd want him removed... until I then realized he was a total trash talking hypocrite.
Is it being politicized Rubio?!?!?! The hypocrisy literally makes me sick.
I know you're a late night show but I watch these clips every morning and it's a great way to start the day. The news is going to be awful no matter what, but I can't tell you how comforting it is to laugh about it with the undertone of "I am just as upset as you are, this is ridiculous"

yeah maybe, but there is further irony:
1) we were the envy of the world for factory output, during WWII when we functioned as a militaristic socialism
2) during that period, random citizens were NOT especially tolerant of one another; the military was only racially integrated AT THE END OF THE WAR
and obviously the 1960's racial unrest removed any doubt that the rest of society was not following the Truman order
3) nor was there especially unity once we no longer had a common enemy to fight against. As well, anti-war and leftist sentiment (such as unionism)
was actively suppressed by pervasive goverment intrusion into media
4) maybe kids respected their elders. maybe kids and elders just avoided one another and kids did not speak their minds
5) I question whether the GOP destroyed that which only vaguely existed, but they certainly do extoll the virtues of an idealized period
in the past
6) so does the religious right

I'm in Northern California right now, but born and raised in Arizona. What Newsom is asking is what we have ALWAYS done in Arizona. Thermostats are always set at 78°, and people understand heat, including my family in Texas. Ted Cruz is a lying boil on the butt of humanity.

Newsome is also trying to ban gas cars and have electric cars in 2035 wonder how the power grid will handle that.

Same here. I spent three days without electricity during that storm. What kept me alive? Huddling under every blanket and towel I could find with my dog and cat. My students were stuck on campus without food. Their pipes froze and burst and some literally had to walk miles in the snow to find food and water.

This is so true! I went back and watched the news clips and they (maggots) complained about the inventory list of items seized. So the FBI released more details. Then they (maggots) complained that the DOJ was releasing sensitive info. Seth should've included this since he'd been gone for most of it. The hotel-newspaper joke was SO OLD-PEOPLE. I'm 43 and I've been traveling the country with my dog for 18 months and not one single time have I ever been given (the option) to get a newspaper. And why did the national archives say theres no record of trump declassifying any documents? Trump talked about wanting to declassify documents but never did it. Why didn't any of the documents found have a declassified stamp on it?

I agree completely, it's got to take a lot of work to produce these closer look segments day in and day out even during the pandemic. I'm a 64-year-old nurse working in a large Urban hospital in the middle of a red state in the Midwest, if it wasn't for folks like Seth Meyers, Stephen Colbert, Sam Bee and Trevor Noah I probably would have killed myself in the last year or two

I live in Texas. Not only did they encourage us to change our thermostats, but those who have the “smart” thermostats were made to do it since the power companies adjusted their thermostats for them. So people were unknowingly coming home from a long days work to a hot house that had their pets in them all day. The excuse was that people didn’t “opt out” of having their thermostats controlled by someone else 🙄

Clinton actually handed over *all* the emails requested, the server was investigated and none of them were marked as classified nor was there evidence of a data breach. Thus it was not smart to do but not an issue. Also Clinton did not attempt to hide the emails once they were reque, or lie about handing them all over. And again none of them were classified. So nothing happened because there was nothing to do. The current investigation into Trump is to determine if there is anything that needs to be done. So if you want this to be handled 💯 exactly the same as Clinton then you'd want this investigation to be completed.
