Very cool. Everyone had some amazing setups. The spinning lave pot. The spinning katana's. And the Lazer boat I can't believe it did so much damage from such a distance.
13:27 My theory as to why the vacuum chamber didn't work is that, as Mark explained, when the vacuum chamber removed the air the boiling point of the beans was lowered to less than room temperature which made it boil without gaining heat. The reason the beans got colder is that when a liquid boils it releases steam which takes some heat with it. Therefore, while the vacuum chamber made it look like the beans were being cooked, they were actually being cooled by being boiled.
