Cassidy Hutcheson was the proverbial fly on the wall. She was totally dismissed by those in power as having any importance because she was "just an aide" and had no policy or decision making ability. She just was at EVERY meeting, taking notes, sending texts, making phone calls, and hearing everything. But because she sat to the side and kept her mouth shut they forgot about her. The fly on the wall. Good for her!

Being a "low level" staffer does not immediately disqualify you from having relevant information for a hearing. In fact, those same low level staffers will probably have the most damning information. And because they are treated like "low level" staffers, they have very little incentive to keep quiet about the things they have seen/heard, or lie. Example: Go to any hotel/motel, and talk to house keeping staff. They are considered low level staff. But they also have the most information about what is going on there. Often times they can tell you who is staying there, who is doing what, and which rooms would be the best to search for drugs. "Low level" staff are often invisible to those in higher positions. Came in to refresh the water, heard a plot to take over the world. Walked out again.
I'm not saying that Cassidy Hutchinson is/was a "low level" staffer, but Faux News claiming that being a low level staffer means she didn't have access to anything relevant is absurd. Maybe we should talk to the Faux News low level staffers, see what's really going on behind the scenes.

Her refreshing appearance of honesty (none of us on the outside knows what happened, but she certainly presents as candid and truthful to me) probably terrifies the people she is describing because they have been subsumed into a culture of untruthfulness, vanity, flattery, disorganisation and self-interest for so long that, as we say in the UK, they wouldn't recognise the truth if it jumped up and bit them on the arse. Sadly, our Conservative government here, led by Boris Johnson, he of toddler haircut fame, is following in 45's (shoe lifted) footsteps. We could do with a person of conscience to tell the truth about our own chaotic 'government'. The novelty alone would be welcome.

This is always Trump's go to move. Some on the right are now calling her an intern! But why would the Senior White House Counsel go to an intern to try to prevent the President from going to the Capitol?
And I recall an interview with a former White House Senior staffer who worked as a technical advisor on "The West Wing" and in one episode, they mentioned that the proximity of a person to the Oval was a sign of one's importance. Office size also mattered, but everyone wanted to be close to the Oval - it was a status symbol.

The committee also has two incidences of manipulating evidence (similar to the 2nd impeachment) or misrepresenting quotations and one misrepresentation of fact by the chairman himself, AND the House Speaker broke Congressional precedent by refusing to honor the Minority Party's committee member selections so it's not like these people are exactly looking for an honest accounting of facts here...or if they are they are mighty confused about the facts already.

When they showed where her office was located in the WH, very close to the oval office, and that she was a constant presence in important meetings, it is obvious she was not low level staff.

She was the Chief of Staff's assistant - that's not low level, and they can't deny that, because that was her official position.

Lmao! What important meetig exactly? You think you can hear whats going on in the oval office from outside? Nope.

@@adamcasas6519 the OP is not suggesting that you can hear through the walls... what they are suggesting is that a low-level staffer would not work out of an office right next to the oval office. Low-level staff would not get prioritized for being situated close to the president because they'd have no need to be there. There's a reason why it's the Chief of Staff's office right next to the oval and not the summer intern's. Seems like common sense that offices closer to the president would contain people that work more directly with him.

The goons at Fox and the other detractors dismiss Cassidy Hutchinson as low level and insignificant. Well, that's the point. In their world she is. However, that's what makes her a star witness. She wasn't a player in the game, their game. She was just an observer. She had nothing to gain, nothing to lose. She wanted nothing and still doesn't. Her integrity is her power and their lack of thereof is the reason they are running scared of her.

She wasn't an "observer". She never said she saw anything about which she was testifying. Nor did she say she heard anything personally. It was all hearsay.
