It came as it is now coming in the USA. The Weimarer Republik lasted 90 days after Hitlers election. We still have it somehow in our veins and our collective memories. The americans , most of them, live in freedom since hundreds of years. They are naive when it comes to how a dictatorship will influence their lifes, even if they support their Fuehrer. They know nothing about denounciation and the Gestapo who knocks at the door'at 4 am. .. and they will not have a strong democratic big brother who will come to free them, qs they did for us. We here in Europe are still to weak. European elections are coming up. Let's vote to make Europe strong.

I recently asked my neighbors little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be President some day. Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, 'If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?' She replied, 'I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people.' Her parents beamed.
'Wow...what a worthy goal.' I told her, 'But you don't have to wait until you're President to do that. You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I'll pay you $50. Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house.'
She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, 'Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?'
I said, 'Welcome to the Republican Party.' Her parents still aren't speaking to me........

First I want to thank and praise the unnamed staffer who Lawrence referred to regarding the emails and ‘tweets’. Second, Hope Hicks got her job with Trump because she fits a beauty ideal he has in his mind. She gave him loyalty for his hiring her for a job she wasn’t qualified to do. The sad part of our situation is that there are so many people who are enamored with Trump; they are his Lemmings headed for the cliff. I hope some will wake up before they hit the edge. Thank you Lawrence.

The "beautiful" part I just don't see & never did, no matter how many times everyone else want to throw it up. But since the crying bit she did has had such an effect on people, maybe there's a career in acting in front of her. Based upon what she looks like to me, her clear & 'relaxed' moral standards, & the things (literal & figurative) she's already gladly done & enjoyed for a payday I'd suggest she get in touch with ol' Stormy Daniels for a reference & a spot of help with some connections into her movie industry. It couldn't hurt, & she'd be a natural. Just ask Trump. Who'd know better than him?

You are the best, Lawrence. I am not heartless, but when I heard Hicks had cried, all I could think of was, of course that's what a privileged self-absorbed person would do. She got caught. She cried because she was scared of Trump & his henchmen and perhaps even to get a break from a potentially harsh cross-examination. Remember when she bemoaned after January 6th that she would have trouble getting another job because "now they will all think we are terrorists"? I disagree with your last guest who said this was her facing up to justice and truth. BS! The media needs to get over this crying thing!
