"undocumented" is a legal term. These immigrants do not have the right to live in the US and have not had their asylum status determined. Until one of those two things happen, they're classed as "undocumented".

Congratulations Massachusetts! 48 undocumented immigrants crossed the border into your state and you leapt into action to take care of them for a few days. In Del Rio,Texas, about twice the size as Martha’s Vineyard, they get 48 unannounced, undocumented immigrants every 40 minutes, 24 hours a day 7 days a week. But, wow, that’s so impressive MV that you were able to address this large influx of immigrants, if only for a few days.
That was the best line in the whole segment.

It would be helpful if some of these migrants (if willing) were interviewed and able to tell their own stories. This would force Americans who see them as less than human to see they are actually women, children, men simply looking to amnesty and escaping violence and poverty.

You failed to mention that the people sent to Martha's Vineyard were all asylum seekers who were housed in a facility in Texas awaiting their hearings. Hearings some might miss and which will result in their being returned to the countries they were fleeing.
Part of not reporting on Monday was being picked up by police and deported.
Proof? Even if so what does it matter where they are housed? Is Martha's Vinyard to good for them?

I grew up in Ohio. And yes, we did have a lot of problems with refugees from Kentucky streaming across our southern border. But they weren’t all bad, many brought with them a slack-jawed gap-toothed glazed-over chicken-eyed sense of wonder at our shoes and indoor toilets. Of course, some were innovators, as well. The person who invented the toothbrush was from Kentucky (otherwise it would have been called a teethbrush). He came to Ohio in 1938 with his wife, sister, and aunt. Her name was Martha.
Imagine these people coming from hardship, in many ways, then they land on billionaire row. Desantis is such a wonderful guy.

Here in our state we have thriving small businesses. I just got a raise last year. We also have peaceful migrant workers who are as grateful to be here as we are to have them. they work the fields to harvest and brings the cost of food down. The price of gas has gone down a bit but every little bit helps. We are now able to invest in a home because i don't have student dept anymore. Now that we can afford to have health insurance my husband and i can afford to have children. Every little bit helps. Take care out there and be kind to one another.

When I was a boy, in a long forgotten century, I used to go on night rides with my cop neighbor. I lived in a Deep South city, and you can bet each and every cop was white. In the wee hours of the morning, they would cruise the city, looking for homeless or vagrants. If they found one, they'd load him up in the back seat, drive him to the county line and warn him that if he came back again he would not be taking another ride.

The majority of migrants (30 of 50) who wound up flying to Massachusetts were “homeless” and “hungry” and living in parking lots in San Antonio. They were put up in accommodations for one to two days before they were transported out of state to Martha's Vinyard.
