Carol Burnette, Lucielle Ball, Jackie Gleason, Jack Benny, Bob Hope, The Smothers Brothers, Lewis And Martin, The Marx Brothers, The Three Stooges, Laurel and Hardy, Abbott and Costello, Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Anything By Tex Avery, Monty Python, SCTV, The Muppet Show, Laugh In, and THEN the first 30 years of SNL... The last 5 years have been nothing compared to these comedy classics and I pity the generation that didn't grow up with quality entertainment.

Possibly the only "positive" in this presidency is hilarious late night comedy. I remember SNL being funny during the first Iraq war as well. Too bad we NEED this type of comedic relief, and worse, the skits sound less exaggerated, and are way too close to the truth. Similarly, the current administration has stolen Andy Borowitz' "fire." Down is up and up is down.
