I love the outfit you made. You could put some pretty ribbon over the raw edge of the hood. Many thing are done that way so I think it would be very pretty. You can get white ribbon with red edges and flowers embroidered on the white ribbon.😊
Thank you for the tip Kim, I glued it down, it would be a bit stiff the sew a ribbon on now but I could glue a ribbon on, the edge is not bothering me now, but if I was making this sell I wouldn’t be happy to sell it like this, however it’s just for personal use.

She is a beautiful doll! I got my first fakey doll as a gift from my sister in 2019. Since then, I’ve bought a lot of the fake ones. Then my two sisters went in together to get me Heather sky a few years ago. I like the term you use… “Re-style.” I like that term… Restyling versus the customizing.

But it lead me on a quest 🤭 I've got 5 dolls ordered on Ebay 😲 vintage of course (70s/80s) my favourites are Pedigree First Love dolls, such nice faces 🥰

I have been known to make the occasional extra outfit do put them in a shop, but some things are so intricate and time consuming, or due to supply issues, then I only make one. I hope to put more things in my shop when I doing less running for my family. It might worth keeping an eye on my shop for the future.
