Hmmm if you have a factory remote starter there should be a pin under the front hood which signals the hood is closed and enables the remote starter to work. If you have an aftermarket starter depending on the brand and model it is possible not to have the pin
Could be lots of things. The most common reason for a vehicle to start, then shut off is engine checking. The system monitor voltage or tachometer signals from your vehicle to know exactly when the vehicle has started tachometer signal. Could be battery or alternator related if vehicle noticed drop in voltage. Or it could even be in programming of your remote starter.
Thank you!!! Easy and that was the problem. 😊
Glad I was able to help :)
Thank you
Going to try this.
2013 Town and Country

Your asking 22k for that vehicle and you've got part of an extension cord wrapping around that hood adjuster? Kinda not exactly OEM is it?
Hi, it is the block heater. Must have up north in Canada due to extreme colds
I do have one 2012 town&contry and wen I turn the key kills all ligts on dash and don’t start but I can hear a click on the engine
Most likely starter failed. It will have to be tested and then replaced
sure did!
What if my car doesn’t have that switch under the hood

Mine will start for a few seconds and then stop
What if it starts for about 20 seconds then shuts off

Mine starts but stops after 1 minute
Is it aftermarket or factory remote starter? They can usually be programmed how long the vehicle will work once started
Same as mine
