Worked great! Thanks. I managed to program two additional keys and all cost 150 euro as I am in Europe and I had pay shipping and import taxes. Great save as just a single key cost 200 Euro
I heard that for me to program another fob for my 2008 Chrysler Town and Country, I need to already have to existing, working fobs, but I only have one. Is this a method to do it WITHOUT needing two fobs already programed? Thank you for the video!
Sooo I lost my fob, but still have the cut key that goes inside, but I don't have my fob to start the vehicle, I have a 2015 town n country and my question is if I buy that simple key will it still start my vehicle I just need the fob to go inside the wind module to turn and start the vehicle I have the cut key that unlocks the doors but I don't have no fob and I'm trying to avoid paying $300 to a locksmith... Will that simple key straight from the box to start my ignition I don't need it to be programmed ?🤔
Your internal key programmer only allows like 8 or 10 keys total to be made. The factory made 2 of them so I think it leaves 6-8 more. Not 100% sure on the numbers
I undestood that you have to program both keys, not just one. Cause it sends a new code to the new remote and the old remote is then not compatible. Is that true? Is it required to have the emergency flashers on ? I see you have a slot to plug FOB into ignition, I do not. I have a START bassoon. Is the start button removable?
@@youcanfixit3721 2012 Town and Country. I have a second remote that does not pair when they did a service on my car a few years ago. It's an original but not synced. Also here's my other issue. The car doesn't unlock every time I touch the door handle. It's finicky. And sometimes it won't start. I have to move remote closer to the dash to get it to respond. Intermittent issues are the hardest to solve. thanks for reaching out.

if you take the circuit board out of the original shell, you risk forgetting where you put it the next time you have to do this process, and trust me, you will have to do this again. Keep the circuit board in the original plastic shell and save yourself the hassle.
@@av8ionUSMC The versions of these videos, are not correct. IF you only have 1 Key Fob (Like I do). It is impossible to reset your New Key fobs to work, without having both Keyfobs that came with the Car. Because you have two key fobs, both have different codes. And to activate a new Key fob, you have to have both key fobs. OR buy that device that can reset both Key fobs (SIMPLE KEY)
On the 2014 model -- (I don't know about the models after that) -- the little metal key will open the door but it will NOT start the car. There is no ignition except the fob. A really terrible design that I don't like. It puts your life at the mercy of a watch battery. If that battery goes out ... at night ... in some remote location in the wilderness ... in winter ... I can get in the driver's door (only), but I cannot start the car! Give us metal keys with door locks and ignitions again, PLEASE, car manufacturers!
Oh god was it misleading. This FOB had a damaged chip. We put a new battery in and cleaned the contact and nothing. Then we swapped the circuit board with the working fob and nothing and then the other one worked when they were switched. I do have videos for battery replacement. If your battery is dead just replace the battery. Don't I say that this is for getting a replacement fob if you lost or broke one and are buying a new FOB?

Glad it helped save you some money!!!
Worked like a charm. This $108 investment saved me over $150.

Thanks! All worked perfectly for my 2008 Jeep Commander.
Hi. What if you have a push start feature in your T&C?
Work the same?
Thank you! Very useful information!

key needs to be programmed. Without the programmed chip in the fob it won't start.
Did not work for me, followed the instructions exactly but it did not work
I have one working key but it’s going out. Will this work or do I need to have two working keys, currently?
How many keys can i program using this device?

I believe the key program in your car only allows a total of 8 keys to be programmed, so like 6 spares total

what year car do you have. Make sure they make a smart key for it and not the old key does not need to be reprogrammed

Can more than one fob be programmed with this simple key? I mean if I can program to have like 3 working ones ?
The car only allows 6 or 8 keys in it's life, but yes you can do three.
Did the remote start work?

I just watched someone program 2 key fobs with one working key fob... and he didn't use the Simple Key thing.. Programmed with cars on board computer

Listen to your 🚗
OBD port not sensor!!
Lol did I say sensor.... Too funny....🤣 Oh well it's uploaded now.
Why would you need a Chevy dealer for a Chrysler?
LOL!!! Thanks I'll need to update that!
All u need to do is replace the battery in the fob.....

There's always one in every crowd.
This device is a one time deal 👎
I have the same problem. The issue is the push button. The plunger behind the push skin comes out.
This video is terrible. Get to the point!!
Not sure what you're talking about... This video is amazing!!!
